With prices about 60% higher compared to if you would buy them in the States and a very limited selection if scents, I still can't help feeling all giddy with excitement when I realised that Bath & Body Works now has a shop at Arlanda airport. Unfortunately after the security check - but I spoke to the sales clerk and she said that they really try to convince B&BW headquarters to open/move to a more accessible location in Stockholm. And given it's currently apparently the only shop in Europe it's a really weird place to have the shop... - but still... what a treat!
B&BW has been a great (cruelty-free and palmoil-free) skincare favourite since I stumbled over their shop in Edinburgh in the early 1990ies - sadly no shop remains in Europe anymore and for some odd reason they don't ship to Sweden from the website.
So even if I didn't find all my old favourite scents I did find the wonderful Twisted peppermint body cream and a few other lovely scents. 3 for 2 price, but yes quite hefty prices compared to the US. I settled for three products, but I quite regret I didn't get more when I had the chance... I will have to savour my winter body lotions all the more now.
If you find a shop when travelling, you should definitely buy some body creams, body lotions and body splashes - the scents are amazing and very long lasting, the body creams great. read more
