The credit union gave me a pre-approval letter for a home I was trying to buy. With that, I put in…read morean offer that got accepted. I paid $600 to have an inspection done on the home. After that, I got an email from them saying they were revoking their pre-approval. They had all the information they needed from day one so them changing their mind is completely unfounded and a slap in the face. I got completely ripped off and would not recommend using them for your home loan. I know I won't even consider them in the future. It took their underwriter so long to review my information, that the short window to get the inspection and whatnot done, had long expired. I thought the house was mine, just to have it ripped away after I had already invested a lot of money. Not trustworthy. They just want your money which is apparent by them charging you for the pre-approval letter but not giving you your money back after they totally screw you over on your dream home. Don't be their next victim. ​

Their rewards checking program is phenomenal- you earn money on your checking account for doing things you do every day. I know that sounds like an advertisement, but it's not. ATM fees are refunded too! All you have to do is have direct deposit, use your debit card 12 times each month, and go paperless. These are all things I would do anyway, so double win! I don't know what more I could ask for from my bank. I have only ever had friendly experiences with the employees, they have resolved issues very quickly and they keep my money safe! I once have a false charge on my card they took care of it, refunded it without issue and issued me a new debit card immediately. We also have an auto loan through Town & Country. The process setting it up was fine, and we have had no issues. The interest rate is pretty low, and the payments are taken directly from our account, so no worries about scheduling payments. I've also used their notary a few times, and it was easy as pie (or waking in and asking). Mobile and online banking are easy too! I love me some TCFCU, and this location is super convenient for me!
