Bath Street is a great street slap bang in the city centre. It runs from Charing Cross to Buchanan Street and for me is much more pleasant that it's close by neighbour Sauchiehall Street.
Previous reviews have mentioned some of the many basement bars, which are what I associate most with Bath Street. My favourites include The Butterfly & Pig (who also do great food, cakes and afternoon tea options!) and Slouch. At the Charing Cross end you'll also find The Kings Theatre, this area gets super busy when popular shows are on, and old school pubs such as The Griffin.
You'll also find some great independent shops such as Maia, a lovely little gift shop with super friendly staff, The Good Spirits Company, who specialise in Whisky and also run amazing Tasting Evenings to suit gin lovers, champagne lovers, whisky lovers etc, and Eleganza Sposa a boutique bridal shop.
Another business worth mentioning is House Martin Barbers, I don't use their services personally(!), but have been in a few times with my other half. They serve Dear Green coffee, the guys are lovely and they have an awesome poker room you can hire, which is in the old bank safe and really rather awesome!
Parking is available on street but at 60p for 12 minutes it will soon add up! read more
