To give you a rough idea I got a quote for a black granite worktop from B&Q (without fitting cost) which came to over 3 grand£££ but the same area, fitted, with these guys was £1100 and that was in their most expensive black granite. They even cut the templates on-site so they ensure they get it just right. They were really helpful and their lead time is only a week or so. It's a real find. They do also do bathrooms, personally they weren't to my taste, but it takes all sorts! The granite's worth a look in my book.

Unfortunately, my experience was far from 'fast' and efficient. I called in a plumber to sort out the leak under my sink. Unfortunately, it was out of his capabilities as the leak was inside the building wall. I have asked the plumber, named Meguid, to have a look at the shower head that also has a leakage issue. Meguid did not have the parts with him but tightened the existing fitting and secured it with a tape, and offered to come back with necessary parts if it continues to leak. The leak indeed occurred again, so I tried calling Meguid to get him to come back with the necessary parts. To sum it up, I had to chase him by calling twice a week over a period of 5 weeks trying to arrange for him to come back. On various occasions he answered my calls, every time coming up with excuses and promising to call back. Never happened! So I gave up on waiting, and called RedMound and complained. They took 2 weeks to investigate and their solution was to call another plumber, pay full call charge again plus the charge for the parts. I wasted 7 weeks waiting for them to sort out what is a relatively simple issue and they do not feel responsible for the wrong doing and attitudes of their plumbers.

Then we came across Admo Kitchens online and decided to pop into their branch. Honestly Mushtaq, Mohammad and Jay are some of the nicest and most genuine people you will meet. From conception to completion, the process couldn't have been better. We went for a German Häcker kitchen as I did a lot of research and found that this kitchen suited us the most. Admo were very competitive with their pricing and compared to some of the previous quotes that I had, I found Admo to be very reasonable. We also changed a few things as we went along and they were all so patient with us. Our kitchen extension was delayed due to a number of reasons and they were so understanding. At all times they considered our best interests and it was really refreshing to see that instead of being driven by how much money they will make like the bigger companies, it was quality and customer satisfaction that drove them to deliver a kitchen and service of such a high standard. The fitters, Altaf and Terry, were also lovely. They did a very good job and I couldn't be happier. They even came back to do a few extra things that I thought of after to add to the kitchen which was very nice of them. Overall, I would definitely recommend Admo over any of the bigger retailers. I even used one of the recommended tilers to do the work and he was excellent. Quentin who runs the Fulham Tile showroom was a great help in advising me of the right colour scheme and matching up my tiles with the right paints and cabinets. I don't have much of an eye when it comes to design stuff so i put my faith in his hands and it turned out brilliantly.
