Yesterday (6 months after the install) I was having an issue with a main battery overcharging. I called and discussed what was going on with Dave. Although we seem to agree it was a charger problem, not battery issue, Dave said he could have his crew there this morning to test and check the batteries. By 9:30 AM (New Years Eve) they were on the boat in Palm Beach with test equippment and 2 8D new batteries if needed. Fortunately, the batteries were fine and it seems to be a charger issue. Called the owner to schedule a repair under warranty and he then advised that he replaced the screen with a LCD, not OLED screen. Despite never disclosing this, he said I would have to deal with the extra heat and tough luck. When I tried to explain that I never would have wanted a LED screen, he started screening on the phone "Don't tell me how to run my business, I'll push this red button on my iPhone and hang up on you." Needless to say, I should have known better because this is a very low quality shop and you get what you pay for. I'd say be careful before doing business here, but when you walk into his little hole in the wall shop which is very rundown, you'll immediately understand what level of businessman you're working with.
