She is the type of attorney that actually cares about your case and your family. She believes in doing what is best for not only the parents but the child. She is very quick to respond back when you email, call, or txt her. The office staff is always helpful and courteous when I call. Sometimes you can feel so overwhelmed in family court but this law firm works as a team. And this is the team of attorneys I'd recommend to anyone. After my initial phone consultation I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders. It was like we were battling together. The pricing is very fair too. Careless, rude, and unprofessional…read more He made mistakes on every motion and notice he submitted to the court, including one where he copied language from opposing counsel's filings and even filed paperwork using the opposing party's information instead of mine. He repeatedly charged me for communications in which he promised to do something but failed to follow through. He also billed me multiple times asking for documents that I had already emailed him, apparently without checking his inbox first. After nearly three weeks of ignored calls and unanswered questions, I asked whether we could cancel the representation. Instead of addressing my concerns, he became rude and confrontational, repeatedly telling me, "You signed a non-refundable retainer." In my opinion, once I signed the retainer, he stopped caring about my case. Communication became extremely poor, and the mistakes in my case resulted in weeks of unnecessary delays. Whenever I questioned the lack of progress, I was told, "I'm a solo practitioner." Do yourself a favor and choose a different attorney. He will likely respond by saying, "As an attorney, I am constrained by the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar from responding in detail, but I believe this review does not present a fair or accurate picture of what occurred." However, my personal experience was very different. When speaking with me privately, he was dismissive and repeatedly responded with, "You signed a non-refundable retainer." A non-refundable retainer should not excuse poor communication or a lack of diligence. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this attorney.
