My husband and I drove up to the mini golf at 11 AM on a Sunday and turned out. It was closed.

Awful experience My family and I decided to visit Barbadian Mini Golf during our weekend trip to Georgia. We are very passionate about mini golf and always play on our weekend getaways, so we have visited a lot of different courses. Sadly this course is by far the worst experience we have had while on vacation. First off, on the very first hole we were bombarded with red ants. They surrounded our feet making the hole difficult to play. Soon we found the sources, there were two thriving ant hills full of red ants. There was also a post that housed an ant hill and a carpenter bee. Next of the scenery around the golf course was as an eyesore, the beds were full of weeds and branches. There was no story or theme to get a grasp of. Lastly the condition of the putting green was old and run down. It was extremly worn, which affected the outcome of the game. Advertises 2 courses and only one available. The course is run down. The water feature was turned off which is a big part of the course. The drink machine had room temperature drinks at high prices. The air hockey machine has sticky parts and hard to get the puck out. Just disappointed. Families are spending their hard earned money on false advertising. They have 2 courses but only one is working currently. The one we played was fun and the 2 people working, who I can only assume are the owners, are both wonderfully sweet. I would return simple because they were both very sweet. read more

Very disappointed in this course. We played it a few years ago and it was nice. Now it is very rundown. One hole completely underwater and we were not advised of it ahead of time. Too expensive for poor quality. $50 for two seniors and 2 children. read more

We are locals, and we love a fun game of putt putt. This course, at one time was nice! Now most of the water hazards don't work and there's even one hole where your ball goes into a sludge pond every single time. And you have to go retrieve your ball from said sludge in order to continue your game. Now, if this course was an 8 dollar course, I'd say it was still worth the price for the pretty view from the course. However, it was $13 for 18 holes and just wasnt worth that. read more

First visit to Georgia and was able to partake in mini golf during the craziness of covid / quarantine. But the gentleman who was operating it was very cool and told us the ins & outs of participating. Plus an indoor arcade area! There was a few other families there as well, who were happy to be outside doing something! Great spot! read more

I love it here! Has an amazing arcade and it's a bad price for the games! Definitely cheaper than Dave and Busters! Mini golf isn't too much price wise either. Great miniature golf course and Jim, the owner, was just so nice. There are two 18 hole courses you can play. We chose the one on the left with the giant waterfall. The course is very well taken care of. A lot of the greens looked brand new. We didn't play in the arcade but it looked like they had some fun games. Jim recommended a gold mining place in nearby Dahlonega and showed us a vile of all the gold him and his wife had found there. We visited there later that day and loved it. Thanks for the recommendation Jim! Make sure you get to pet Romeo and Juliet while you're there. Super cute puppies. read more

This place is great! The owner Jim and his wife are so nice and even give you a tour before you get started. There are two courses to choose from which are both fun and challenging. My fiancé and I went back to back nights because we enjoyed it so much. Jim even stayed after hours one night to let us finish our game. This is definitely the best mini golf course in Helen. Plus Romeo and Juliet are the sweetest pups waiting to be petted once you pay. read more

Love this place. Seriously - when we take our vacations to Hiawassee we come here for mini-golf. As other reviews have stated - there are two 18 hole golf courses. One's harder than the other - you can choose to pay for one course or save some money and play through both. The gimic at this location is that streams flow through both courses and your balls have a good chance of falling in. They float and they're easy to retrieve - but it adds a little something extra for the kids to enjoy. Some of the holes are more worn than others - it's obvious that the owners replace the greens as they need them. None of the worn holes had a negative impact on our game play. The entire place has nice landscaping and design. It's a pleasure to play. The owners are great and I love the service they provide. read more

We really enjoyed the view from this mini golf course. Each hole has its own unique set up. There are actually 2 different courses, which is nice when there's large groups ahead of u, so u can pick the less crowded course. The only downside was it closed too early. The owners are very friendly. Their dogs lay on the counter and are sweet and let you pet them. Prices are very cheap. However, owners openly display their political views; and it's tacky. The course looks worn and needs an upgrade. Balls fall in water pools and you have to use this stick that looks like something my grandfather wrigged to get balls out. My son actually enjoyed this part and would intentionally get his ball in the water so he could fish it out. Overall an ok experience for the price. read more

Awesome place to go when visiting Helen. The course is located above the strip, so you don't see any cars and you get a nice little breeze during the day. The staff here is super friendly and very helpful. The manager walked us outside and described the courses to us, letting us decide which course we would choose (Chatahoochee or Helen). After listening to his suggestions we decided on the Chatacoochee, it is more hilly and seemed a little more challenging. It did start raining during our game and the manager offered a refund or a rain check but we decided just to wait it out and finish our game. Overall, the course is super fun, very clean, and extremely well kept. But the customer service is impeccable and is the main reason why we would come back! read more

Took a big group of kids (age 3 to 14) putt-putt golfing here for Spring Break. April got us going with putt-putt. She was super friendly! After putt-putt the kids played in the arcade. The arcade games were super affordable and fun! 7 kids played for at least 30 minutes on $20 worth of coins. Jim (the owner) was awesome! He checked the kids out with all of their tickets. He was so patient and friendly to all of them. I highly recommend this family friendly spit!! read more

This place is awesome! Very friendly family running the place with 2 really cute pups who greet you when you stop in at the counter. The 2 18 hole courses they have are fun and challenging enough to have a great time but not be able to breeze through the course. Definitely had a blast and with a central location, easy to get to. I carried my granddaughter there this past week, she played in the arcade for about a hour. While we were there the owners got into a confrontation with some customers and the police were called out. This is a very nice place, very clean and very nice staff. The owners were working there the night we visited and were very nice. It's obvious that they are working hard to maintain their business and improve it. They were replacing the greens while we were there and the grounds were very clean. The owners informed us they had bought the place about 2 years ago. And were working hard to improve and upgrade the business and it showed. It also has a nice view of the surrounding area. Not family friendly! Our little girls kicked rocks onto the walkway and the owner came out and yelled at us because of how much work it takes to maintain the property. We were in the process of picking up the rocks when he came out. Very unprofessional and bad customer service, we left immediately. I do not recommend, plenty of other places to play mini golf and treated better. read more
