This place was recommended as one that had chicharones, the type with meat attached to the deep fried pork skins; and the info was correct. I picked some up both times. The first batch were better than the second batch, as the second batch had several pieces that were well overdone making them very hard. They were still good and I only had to toss a few smaller ones out, so as not to break a tooth. I picked up a few fresh vegetable items that were good, but I stayed away from the onions as there were quite a few gnats hovering around them (I will presume that was a fluke and not the norm). The avocados and jalapeno peppers were in excellent condition. I also picked up some of their fresh red hot salsa (not bottled), for the second time, as it is really good. The staff are friendly and accommodating with any questions. I will be back for sure.

Everything was incredible--but the undisputed star of the show is their proprietary "dirty butter" for the crab. I'm not exaggerating when I say this stuff is borderline spiritual. Like somehow--some way--they got their hands on water from downstream of Jesus Himself being baptized in the River Jordan and turned it into butter. That's the only explanation. It's rich, complex, perfectly seasoned--absolute insanity. The kind of flavor that makes you stop mid-bite and just sit there in disbelief.
