I rented a trailer and when I found out it won't fit my motorcycle I returned it within the hour , the guy told me just to go to another u haul place and when I asked to be refunded, he said he can't do it from his office and to just call U-HAUL to get a refund. So I went to another one and got the trailer that fits. I called UHAUL to ask for a refund and first the lady said the guy could have just done a reverse charge to get my money but as it is, I cannot get a refund because I took the trailer out of the lot. You would think a big company like U-Haul could afford to refund thirty something dollars for something that wasn't even used and I still went to them to spend more money to get another trailer on the same day. Just bad business practice over all. So beware of U-Haul and this business. read more

My project was to put down river rock alongside the road to eliminate unsightly weeds. I prepared the area with a weed barrier and then began the search for a good rock material. I found Bay Area and contacted them and informed the sales rep that I needed 83 cubic feet of material (in which case calculated to 3 cubic yards). She corrected me and said 1 yard would do it. I paid for materials + $85 island delivery charge. Upon the delivery date I found that I was short approximately 2 yards of material. I called Bay Area back to reorder the 2 yards and the rep told me an additional delivery charge would be tacked on the material cost. After a lengthy discussion, no correction of delivery charge was made. Also, the lady kept stating square feet, square feet... It's, CUBIC feet, it's not the same! My husband and I wanted to start a balcony herb garden. As complete amateurs, we wandered around to Home Depot and some other local nurseries looking lost and trying to navigate all of the options. We left those places without purchasing anything because we felt overwhelmed and no one offered to help us. I called ahead to Bay Area to see if they would have the herbs I needed and the man on the phone was so helpful that we decided to drop by that day. He walked us through the process of choosing herbs that would repel mosquitoes and even showed us options for a balcony garden setup based on what he had done. I purchased sod from Bay Area landscaping, had it laid down by professionals, and the grass was growing good. I saw different grass , other than the St. Augustine I paid for, so I called Bay Area and asked if someone could come out and take a look at it. I asked them to call me so that I could come outside. I received a call the next morning saying they came out to look at it, but I never received a call, so why wouldn't they let me know that they were outside, if they even came. I thought this was a reputable and honest company, but I was so wrong. Make sure you get what you pay for with them. The young lady started yelling and arguing with me on the phone, which was very unprofessional. I will never do business with them again. All I can say is beware. I found this company as I was researching for front lawn landscapers. I decided to contact them via email and an agent responded my email and with a call within a timely matter. She had one of their workers come out to my home within that same week. He showed up on the appointment time, measured, drew a sketch and I explained exactly what I want as I had a few architectural designs in mind. Don't get these folks to do your Landscaping design. Had a job done cost me 5 grand and 4 months later overgrown with grass and weeds, busted backer boards and dying plants. Wont stand by their work. Find somebody else. read more
