I went to get a covid test...they said I would get the results in 15 minutes...after the kind lady gave me the test...I sat in the room for over 35 minutes before someone came in and gave me my results... Today was by far my worst experience at a place that is supposed to provide health care, ever in my life. I have never been to a doctor that I have felt that did not have helping my health as their priority, until today. One of the staff members, which they did not give me her name, was so rude I was literally shaking and insane crying by the time the doctor got to me. I was also informed by the rude lady that I would not be charged for a test that I was talked in to taking, got to the counter and they charged me for it anyway. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU GO HERE. I walked in to get a cyst drained, and part of my self care is refusal of weigh ins... At first there seemed to be an insurmountable barrier to bypassing that option (even though I've never had an issue elsewhere. ) However, after talking to a few people, the nurse practitioner, Mr. Cardenas, came to see me and let me proceed. And honestly, he was the nicest, most supportive person, and I couldn't have asked for better service. I wish he could be my permanent practitioner... He was caring and appreciative miles beyond my expectations, and and made sure I understood what was going on, and what the medicines did. I am definitely coming back next time. The waiting time was less than five minutes, and even though the initial roadblock was frustrating, I only experienced maybe a few seconds of frustration back from the staff. My experience with them has been very professional, friendly, and supportive. The place was also nice, clean, and inviting. read more

Stopped by with severe abdominal pain with nausea/vomiting/diarrhea that had been going on several days. I was confident it was food poisoning but the nurse practitioner was concerned with the severity of my pain. She strongly urged I go to an ER instead so that I could get a CT scan and what-not. Even though I had already invested 45 minutes of my time, as a nurse myself, I heeded her advise and went to Premiere ER. Bay Area did not charge me and were genuinely concerned for me. I called them later that day to update them on my diagnosis from Premiere. Although I am in need of a PCP I will definitely keep Bay Area in mind for non-urgent matters that need tending to. I highly recommend them and have nothing but good things to say about my experience there. read more

This is based off our wait time alone. We arrived shortly before 2:30 pm on a Saturday. It is now 4:00 p.m and have yet to be seen. Only thing they've done is take vitals and sat us in a room. Receptionist is friendly-ish, nurse who took vitals isn't the greatest. Can't rate a doctor or NP because I'm not sure this place even has 1 on duty today. They swabbed my gf for the flu which is what we came here for, but I've been swabbed for the flu and she barely put the stick in her nose. This place is a joke, only thing they have is a Keurig with some McDonald's coffee pods and Chewy snacks. read more

It's a good urgent care to go to especially if you can't get an appointment right away from your PCP or if you want to avoid the wait and expensive rates of an ER. The NPs have been helpful and quick. The wait isn't long and the waiting room is nice (Nicely decorated with coffee and snacks)and clean. They also have TB tests for those of you who are in school which require TB testing. read more

Wish you could rate this place with absolutely zero stars! Stay away from this place, especially if you are a private pay patient. They will demand labs and then not follow through with prescribing medications. They leave you with your illness untreated. They call their patients liars, totally unprofessional. I've been to this place twice. After the first time I'm not sure why I went back. The first time I was new to town and needed a prescription refilled, (arthritis, non-opiod), after I got through the initial suspicious looks I was told that they would only write me a script if I had blood work. They didn't even offer to do the blood work, just sent me across the highway to, "Family Health Clinic & Minor Emergency Room," where they DID help me. The second time, after a 30 minute wait in the lobby I was shown back to a room where they took my vitals and left me sitting for an hour and 20 minutes. Bare in mind that there were only 2 other people in the whole place when I got there. It got so hot and stuffy in the exam room, (I had a fever), that I opened the door. After a few moments a very snotty woman with an attitude walked in and said, "Sir this door HAS to remain closed." I told her it was hot in there and that I had been waiting for over an hour. Before I could finish talking she cut me off and told me that I could wait in the lobby and they would call me when, "it was my turn." I walked through the door to the lobby and straight out to the parking lot and left. There was nobody even at the front desk when I left. Sounded like they were in the back having a party or something. Do yourself a favor and go across the highway to Family Health, this place is the worst. read more

Love this place. I've come here with and without insurance and they always have way smaller fees than other quick care places. And the wait times are always reasonable. They even helped me fill out immunization and physical exam paperwork for school. Fast friendly and cheap what more could you want. read more

This place is a joke. It's filthy, the office staff is rude, and you'll end up having to go to a real doctor to get a proper diagnosis (which means, hey! you wasted money that you couldn't waste in the first place). Seriously, avoid this place, or something that shouldn't be of great concern could land you in the hospital. read more

The doctor was an absolutely sweet lady. However the lady at the front wasn't as sweet. I have been a patient here since I was a child. However, the lady DIDNT ask me if I was a patient there, and I had never done these things by myself so I didn't realize that I didn't have to fill out the forms since I had been there before. When I came back and let her know I was a patient, she sighed annoyed and said "well that's why I asked you if you were a patient or not". I'm sorry. But last I checked "the customer is always right". That should apply to all industries. I already am severely anxious about taking the covid test, I didn't need her rude attitude as well. I was a host at one point and I understand being frustrated with customers but never did I lose my composure or make a customer feel like an idiot. I have cognitive issues and so even if she did ask me, I probably wasn't aware. Being epileptic AND adhd, my brain sometimes spaces out. It's truly sad that a hostess has more respect for their customers then someone who works with injured and sick patients. When I was leaving the doctors office, she could barely spare me a glance. The doctor was wonderful but please evaluate your front staff because the people at the front are what set the experience. read more

The short female doctor needs to go back to medical school, or at the very least, learn that spending less than 30 seconds with a patient to diagnose them isn't effective. I wouldn't recommend this place even as a joke. Doctors are expensive, get your money's worth at a minor emergency clinic that actually cares. read more

The nurse practitioner that helped we was awfully rude. She spent probably a total of 2 minutes with me. The whole time when I would ask her questions about my condition she literally said to me "I'll have it written down for you and you can google it". I could not believe it. I was scared and nervous seeing as I had no idea about what I was diagnosed with and she had no desire to help me. Never returning there again. I went to Physicians Premier Emergency room and was treated 100x better. Glad I decided to get a second opinion. read more
