I love Kimber Dry Cleaners and Alterations!…read more Let's start with their Dry Cleaners. It's fairly typical, drop off service and the price is decent. I am always impressed by their ability to remove spots that I can't. My suits are always (so far) returned with all the buttons and overall condition I sent them in (except cleaner of course). But where Kimber earns its 5 stars is its Alterations! I was in a wedding a few years ago, and the gowns were from a chain bridal store (let's call it Bavid Dridal). I'll post a review there about the experience, but the important thing to know is that the $120 bridesmaid dress was way too big on me, and they wanted $175 to make the alternations. Needless to say, I was like the dress cost less and I left to find some place who would do it right and cheaper. Hence where Kimber came in. The older woman/seamstress, had me put the gown on and remeasured everything like twice. She laughed at how big it was as I was telling her my story. She charged me around $50 and I had it back in less than a week. She literally took the dress apart at the steams, cut the material and then reassembled it. I was so impressed with her work, it's where I went the next time I had to have a bridesmaid dress altered.

Like most brides who got married in the craziness of…read moreCOVID, I had a challenging request having alterations done in a less than 2 month window of time due to having to move our wedding date. Most places wouldn't have been able to do that, but Zatsarina's really came through. My first fitting was on August 24th with a second scheduled for September 18th and finally a pickup for October 4th. Gina was so efficient and diligent explaining what needed to be done (take in the shoulder straps, hem, bustle, etc). My first visit was thorough and she explained everything perfectly. All of the alterations would come to $800 (as I had bought off the rack at another boutique). When I came in for my fitting everything was looking great and only a few minor tweaks needed to be made. All in all, a great experience. There was a bit of a hiccup at the end when it wasn't fully ready for my pickup and still needed to be steamed. They made it work and were able to finish it while I waited. I didn't entirely like dealing with her husband but Gina was EXCEPTIONAL. She suggested a video on how to bustle which was super helpful for later. As I mentioned, I had a difficult request with such a quick turnaround time, but I'm so grateful for how everything turned out and how Gina was willing to help and deliver such high quality service.

From the moment you walk into Zatsarina, you're met with kindness and professionalism. The inside is sleek and showcases all of Gina's talents. For my personal tailoring, in terms of a unique situation, I needed sleeves from a jacket placed on a spaghetti strap dress. Then, I needed a bustle added to my dress, tulle taken out of the bottom layers, and a slit added. The fabric of my jacket sleeves were very delicate (covered in beads); and I needed someone who I could fully trust. She delivered. She even hand placed matching beads in spots that were naturally not as crowded, to match the rest of the jacket. Additionally, she hemmed the sleeves of the jacket, so they were perfect. For my bustle, I wanted something that did not create a large bump around my butt, and the way she made the bustle was perfect and almost invisible. (My train was LONG, when bustled, you could not tell there were 14 buttons to make this possible.) It was so easy to connect everything- she showed my MOH a video how to do so too and even encouraged her to record it, which was super helpful dua of. my sister (MOH) was able to do it within a few minutes. Gina's work is perfection. She met with me multiple times to make sure everything was perfect and even provided directions on how to steam the day off. Also, Gina makes custom wedding dresses! Pros: attention to detail & skill Overall, my dress fit perfectly & everything held up. I would highly recommend zatsarina fashion, specifically gina for your most important tailorings. Let me just start off with how clean this place is. Now let's get to why I had to rate this so low…read more I put in $12.00 on the laundry card. I used machine #48 which was $7.69 for a wash. That meant that I should've had $4.31 left on the card. Enough to do some drying. I went to the dryer and was hoping to use the remainder of what's left on my card I was confused because it said I had a bad card. I didn't quite understand what was going on, surely it must've been a glitch in the computerized system of the dryer because I had just gotten a brand new card just 30min earlier and know for a fact I didn't use the entire balance. I went to the front desk where I approached the woman who was working there and she took my card and "checked the balance" and sure enough she said I had a zero balance. I went as far as pulling up my online banking to show her that I had just made a $12.00 transaction right there at that location no more than 30 minutes ago. Proof! Also, if they just looked at the security cameras they would see that I only used that one machine and was not trying to get one over on them. I was foolish enough to think evidence transaction would've been enough to at least acknowledge some sort of issue with their machine. She just kept shaking her head. I asked if I could get my $4.00 back on the card that was not used and she just continued shaking her head. I grabbed all of my wet clothes and left. This is the type of experience that makes potential repeat customers never return.
