When I came here I felt like my PT didn't take my injury seriously. Being fully able to function and being fully able to function without pain are two different things. It sucks to go through the process of going to the doctor, getting a referral, waiting over a month for an appointment, to then have your PT not express any sort of validation or concern. He sent me home with a few exercises that felt very generic and not specific to my injury. I will say for Bay Therapy that the man at the reception desk is lovely. The best PT I've been to (out of 5+ others I've been to) as a frequently injured Jiu Jitsu practitioner. They explain why you got injured, why the exercises will help, why warmups actually help (they aren't just making you warmer). Once you get your initial appointment, follow-ups are easy to schedule. And the vibes within the office are awesome, it feels like the whole team that works there enjoys doing so. I learned some great exercise techniques I can do at home too so to speed up my progress. As a very active person who gets injured frequently, I appreciate that they take my rehab to return to sport seriously and don't mark me as just a number. Very attentive and professional staff. I honestly don't understand the 1-star reviews that focus solely on the front office or scheduling. I had no issues at all -- Michelle was friendly, helpful, and made scheduling easy and straightforward. No hassle, no confusion, just great service. As for the care itself -- top notch. Vincent, PT, is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and truly listens. He takes the time to explain everything and tailors the treatment to what actually works for your body. Dr.Moses did a great job with the pre-op explanation of the procedure and the overall process. One statement I'll make is that it is always worth investing in young doctors. That stigma that young doctors aren't ready or not qualified to take care of me is not true. The patient and family experience was above satisfaction and we were in and out of there in 40 minutes. Everything was proactively done even the referral for the hand therapy and the post-op appointment was taken care of before the surgery. read more

Unfortunately this place is a mill and is dangerous as they do not check the exercises they give you which can lead to further injury. They gave me the incorrect exercises for my injury and made it worse. When I went over the exercises with them to see what I was doing wrong they asked why I was doing that, and I said that's what I was emailed- they checked their sent email, said "oh that was a mistake. Yeah you should never do that." And then moved on. I came back to it and asked to go over all the exercises I'd been given in case and after going over 2 out of 8 she said this is fine and moved on again. I switched physical therapists after the experience. I wouldn't trust them with my care. They made my injury considerably worse for months. read more

I started OT here in November for wrist impingement and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Jamie, who conducted my initial intake appointment, made me feel heard and supported from the very beginning. She asked thorough questions that made me feel seen as a whole person with routines, hobbies, interests, and goals, not just as a patient. After my initial appointment, I worked primarily with the second OT, Russell, and I couldn't have asked for a better therapist. Russell was incredibly supportive and reassuring during setbacks, and he also knew exactly when to challenge me as I began to see improvements. He was always willing to answer my questions and provided exercises and stretches to incorporate into my daily routine. I looked forward to every appointment, as Julia and the rest of the staff were consistently helpful and encouraging. My wrist impingement improved significantly, and I'm now back to doing all the things I couldn't do before working with this team. As a thoughtful and fun bonus, they surprise you with a completion certificate when you finish OT, and you even get to ring one of their celebratory bells on your way out! I've been to many physical therapists over the years to help deal with my IT Band Syndrome (Runner's Knee) pain. None of them were ever able to help me rid the pain for good. Most of the therapists I visited just offered quick relief, but the next day the sharp pain on the side of my knee would always return. After a few visits with the team at Bay Rehab, I'm glad to report that I'm now pain free. I'm honestly in disbelief. I can now run, jump, and lift heavy weights like I did 10 years ago. What I like most about the team at Bay Rehab, is that they helped identify the root cause of my pain, which they told me stems from weak glutes and stiff hips. This was surprising, because I would never have thought that the pain in my knee was actually stemming from other areas in my body. The PT that I worked with, Dillon, came up with a set of daily exercises to do at home to help strengthen these areas in-between my appointments. After just a couple of weeks of exercise and therapy, I was able to do my first 5 mile run in years! Prior to my visits with Bay Rehabilitation, I was only able to run about 1 mile until the pain in my IT Band would resurface. I feel like Bay Rehabilitation has given me part of my life back. The PTs here are all personable, respectful, and above all else, knowledgeable. Leo Zadourian is my physical therapist and I am VERY fortunate to be one of his clients. I had ruptured my achilles towards the end of 2024 and after healing from surgery, I was assigned to Leo for physical therapy. Quite honestly, I was not sure what to expect and was a bit scared. Prior to the injury, I had been healthy and avoided any traumatic injuries so this was a very vulnerable moment for me and from our first session, Leo made me feel at ease. Leo listened to my challenges, concerns, & pains and quickly accessed what I needed to do and made me feel comfortable right off the bat which helped build immediate trust. As weeks went by, he carefully monitored my progress and knew when he could push me harder and when to dial it back if I was experiencing challenges. He is extremely knowledgable in his field and when I asked questions about the anatomy in regards to where I was feeling pain and stimulus, he knew how to explain it to me in the big fancy medical words and then broke it down in layman's terms (which I greatly appreciate.) Something that I was extremely impressed with was Leo's soft skills and community he built with his clients. I saw him take on different age groups, genders, and different ailments and he made the job seem effortless and FUN. He speaks different languages to help guide his patients and you cannot help but be impressed. While patients are not in physical therapy for recreational purposes, Leo fostered a culture and created promoters who his clients rave about. He builds trust and does so with ease and very quickly as he is a great communicator and genuine; he truly cares about his clients and his work. Lina Falkinstein DC is amazing. I was skeptical that a chiropractor could help my severe pain as I had had bad experiences in the past, but Lina was gentle and listened. She didn't force an adjustment right away and used a combination of many techniques. I've only been twice so far and each time I've seen her I've left feeling so much better and the progress stayed! I am so grateful and amazed! on top of that everyone there is so nice and helpful. I had to bring my daughter in with me one day and they were so kind and accommodating. Stay away from here. Nothing but a PT mill that has no customer service ability and ZERO billing concept. READ EVERYTHING THEY WANT YOU TO SIGN!! I'm fully covered at 100% for so many visits and that was on my paperwork yet they wanted me to take responsibility for tracking what my insurance is being billed, how many visits are being billed, etc but REFUSED to give me the billing/fee schedule. That's a no from me. They want the patient to waive all their protections and refuse to give them a copy of the legal notice of those rights (required by law) that patients can't waive. (They do have a copy of them posted behind the front desk in fine 10 print that NO ONE can read because it's taped to the wall and tiny print.) Because I refuse to waive my rights or handle all the medical billing follow-up, they refused to see me. Bet they bill me for a cancelled visit. AWFUL PATIENT MILL!! read more

I suffered a (rather unexpected) trimalleolar fracture to my left ankle back on May 25th. By the 28th, the great people at OSS were already examining my situation (previous appointment needed), and by the 30th, I was getting surgery at their Surgical Center located in Glendale. My honest opinion: Dr. Mark Mikhael and his whole team are as kind as they are professional. Especial mention to Katy Wong, a great physician assistant who, alongside with Dr. Mikhael helped me get back on my feet (no pun intended) as quickly and as painlessly as possible. I got follow up appointments on June 14, July 12, and Aug 21. Every single time I went, I got taken care of in a timely manner (I did do my part by showing up a tad earlier than expected and checking in with the front desk people) and everyone, from the X-Ray technicians to every single doctor and Healthcare specialist in the facilities were kind, attentive and on top of things. Definitely recommended if you're in the I comfortable situation of having to see an orthopedic specialist. read more
