Bayside Business Enterprise Centre (BEC) is a not for profit.
It was founded to help start ups and small businesses grow and thrive, by providing affordable and trusted business advice, mentoring, coaching, and training. It's also a networking hub for local small businesses.
Currently as a provider of the Digital Solutions program, we can offer business advice & coaching for FREE to the business, as it's funded by the federal government program.
This program gives you access to experts across all business areas, who can deliver industry-specific advice, on topics such as social media marketing, Instagram reels, digital marketing, cyber security, SEO and more. You will receive guidance, support and training to help you succeed in your business.
History
Established in 1988.
Since 1988 Bayside Business Enterprise Centre has helped to establish small local businesses, and has helped existing local businesses to grow by:
- providing training
- promoting continuous improvement and ongoing learning
- facilitating collaboration within the local business community
- providing networking opportunities via member events
Specific advisory services include:
* Business counselling - individual guidance on business development
* Business benchmarking and macroeconomic industry data
* Provision of start-up kits and reference materials
* Referrals - linking clients to each other to enhance business outcomes
* Networking - links with business service providers such as accountants, solicitors and business associations
* Business skills training workshops and events.
Meet the Manager: Louise B.
Louise Brawn
Bayside Business Enterprise Centre Executive Officer. Louise oversees the management of the organisation.; Louise is passionate about helping small business owners. She has many years of experience as a small business owner and understands the obstacles that small business owners can face.
Louise Brawn's strengths include:
