I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this company. After my first visit, the issue was not resolved, and I notified them the next day. It then took a full week before I could even get in touch with anyone. When I finally did, I was told they were waiting for a part and would call me as soon as it arrived. Despite calling multiple times myself and even reaching out to the manufacturer directly who said there were no problems in getting any parts, I encountered the same story from Bayview: no parts, no calls back, and no resolution. It's been over a month now, and I still haven't received any follow-up or service. Honestly, I don't understand how they're still in business. I strongly suggested to the manufacturer, with whom they are under contract, that they should drop their service contract. This company is a huge waste of time and effort. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone -- they don't even deserve one star. read more
Terrible customer service. **Long post alert** we had an appointment scheduled for over a week and got a phone call late the night before saying they were coming then after having taken a day off work just for them to show up, they said they would try and make it and would call in the morning to let me know. no phone call. after calling and being on hold the response was "we told you we weren't coming". when I tried to schedule another appointment the lady on the phone was of no help at all, saying she can't do that and that I would have have speak to the man incharge of appointment bookings. I asked when he was available and she couldn't tell me. I asked if he could call me back and she said I would have to try and call him back! after finally getting a hold of this man, I was told they can't book in advance because "things happen". the appliances store had reached out that same day asking if the problem had been resolved, I said it hadn't and was told they would investigate. a week later, after finally getting a technician out, he told us he had to order a part and we were told we would receive a phone call once the part arrived to schedule an appointment and to give us time to turn off the fridge and thaw it out (didn't want the food to go bad so was expecting some notice). I received a phone call on Friday saying they would be coming Monday. when I said I was unable to take the day off and requested another time slot (even the following week) I was once again told "they can't book in advance". the gentleman finally said he would try to accommodate and call me back. I received a phone call not even 20 min later with an appointment time. being excited things were finally going to get done I went about my day. the following week the man called again to schedule an appointment, when I told him I already had one booked he flipped out and told me I was a liar! the man was so rude, he was basically yelling at me and telling me that he would return the part and that I was on my own! after hanging up on me I called the appliance store, what had happened was the appliance store had arranged with another company to fix the fridge, but I was not aware of this until I called them to sort it out. point is, don't even use them if you don't have to read more

Very bad customer service. The saff is careless and unprofessional. technician came to my house to check my fridge, upon checking, he sd it needs a new compressor. I also needed to fix my water dispenser and ice maker, he did not know anything about that, did not seem knowledgable. 10 days past and they never bothered to contact me to fix the compressor. I called many times, and no response from them and very bad customer service. I had to contact another provider to assist and pay all over. read more

This company LIES to your face and is extremely deceitful. The technician who came three times to repair the freezer has broken other parts, admitted this to us, and then saying he will order the new parts. Nothing happened in the next 2-3 months. After almost weekly phone calls to the company and finally after 4 months demanding to speak to the manager, we heard from Mr. Hemi that nothing was ever ordered because they waited for us to call them and make the repairs ourselves? We were constantly being lied to from this company so do not waste your time here. Horrible service from a company that is supposed to be a representative of Electrolux. Who is lying here? The serviceman to Mr. Hemi? Mr. Hemi to us? Most likely all of the above. This is completely unacceptable service. Don't even call them, COMPLETE waste of time. read more
I have had to deal with this company a few times now, my experiences have been inconsistent...You either get the few who are good at repair and customer service oriented, or absolutely terrible attitude and more worried about covering their ass than the actual repair itself, the latter seems to happen more often, unfortunately, there seems to be no in between. **Worry some is the paper they make you sign (its sneakily covered or explained incorrectly to get you to agree) which states that they are not responsible to ANY damages to issues they cause no matter who's fault. So long story sort if they break or damage anything related to the repair or not, you cannot hold them responsible. So I don't sign and ask them to leave if I get one of the "bad" guys. But I know I should not sign it regardless, but, I feel held hostage as there is no other place to call for repairs that the company will authorize, clearly they know this too. Calling there to follow up, they are quite busy, obviously the bulk of their business is warranty repairs for major appliance manufacturers. Language barrier present an issue when calling and again customer service does not appear to be of any importance. The call felt more like I was bothering them than trying to get them back to finish the repair and pay. I gave them 2 stars because of the few that did do a good job, but one star or none would be suitable, and happens most often. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! POOR SERVICE. They promised you to come at a time but never showed up and it happened twice, poor customer services, the woman who answers the phone doesn't even know what she's doing. dont waste your time here. I wish i can give no star! read more

I wish I could give them zero stars ! Technician showed up and was not really friendly nor competent. He looked at our stove and said it need three major parts and the stove was new from the factory. He spend considerable time pulling it out and going over it and said he would need to order parts. I asked if we could just return the unit since there was so many things wrong with it and he said to call his main office and speak to someone there regarding the next steps. My wife who is always nice was eventually routed to someone apparently of authority who began yelling and screaming. Of course we got off the phone and called the manufacturer and advised them of this incident. Can't understand how a major manufacturer would have a company such as this doing warranty work etc. It was almost another two weeks before we got a call for them to return, however we had reached out again to the manufacturer and explained they were not coming back into our home. Period ! In the meantime we had another service representative come out and without even pulling the unit out fixed the one issue as it was simply a screw not turned in from the factory hindering and stopping the convection oven fan blades from turning. It didn't need the very expensive mother board suggested and another part not required either. Terrible service and customer relations. As well it is obvious the tech did not know how to fix or troubleshoot and I have formed my own opinion on why he would need to a lot of absolutely unnecessary work. In review of all the other reviews I am amazed this company is still in business. Period read more

Terrible customer service from Bayview home appliance office staff. I would not give them any stars for their waste of time service and I suggest LG think twice about this contractor servicing their products. I need my Lg refrigerator fixed out of warranty and LG contracted this company for me. The compressor was diagnosed defective by their tech. After that BHA's rep said they couldn't order the parts until the tech filed the report. Their Tech sent the documents in front of me and I also sent the copy to them. They ran me around wasting time. I then spoke to LG who agreed to cover our service and parts to move forward. The BHA rep told me "You're not the only customer" and denied to follow LG executive team members authorizations with the case number provided to them. He wouldn't order the parts and fabricated information from an LG manager supposedly he spoke to. Another BHA rep, then basically told me to look for another service company. "Go back to LG" They won't complete the job. They also wouldn't contact LG to get the appropriate information. Just more run around for me. My last words to them were, i will not continue doing business with you and will make a complaint with LG and poor review online. I ended the conversation and called LG. LG went above and beyond to resolve my fridge issue and today a tech is repairing my fridge. BHA chose to finally connect with LG only to tell them they refuse to service MY fridge after i told them I wouldn't do business with them. Nice try Bayview Home Appliance, i was on the phone with LG filing my complaint for your terrible customer service experience! read more

STAY AWAY. After my wife self cleaned our Kitchen Aid oven, she could not close the oven door. Repairman came and said we need new part. Visit cost plus return visit plus part = $400. Later that day, my son came over and in 10 seconds reprogrammed oven and door closed. Everything working good now. read more

Probably the most incompetent appliance company out there. Whirlpool had sent a service call regarding a defective microwave that needed to be replaced. I received a voicemail asking me to call them back, I called back 3 times and each of those times the person had no clue what I was talking about. They called day before to give me a window. They should up 10 mins after the window, the person came...asked me what was wrong with the microwave. I showed him the box and said you are here to remove the defective one and install the new one. The person claimed it was a 2 person job and left, furious I called whirlpool and they had advised me the work order they received clearly stated they were removing the defective one and installing the new one. Better yet whirlpool told me they only pay the contractors for 1 labourer. These people are lost and do not know how to run a business I guess. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I had a technician come in due to issues we were having with our new ( less than 2 month) Whirlpool fridge as an authorized service provider. After looking at our issue the technician told us he agreed that there was an issue but he didn't know how to fix it and will let Whirlpool know so that they can either arrange for someone else to come fix it or give us a replacement. We waited 3 wks...no call back...so called Whirlpool to follow-up. Turns out on the official report, the technician wrote there were no issues, and so there were no plans to followup or investigate further. The technician literally lied to our faces and if we had no followed up, our new fridge would have remained broken. The "job" he completed on the day of service was to pour a glass of water from our dispenser, stick his finger in it, and acknowledged that "yes, the water is warm and it shouldn't be" and "it smells funny". Can't believe they were paid by Whirlpool for that. read more

I had a great experience with this company. Just before COVID hit both my double wall Kitchen Aid oven and my oversize french door Kitchen Aid fridge were giving me trouble. The oven stopped working entirely. A gentleman by the name of Larry came to fix my wall oven. After replacing the mother boards the oven worked for a day then it stopped again. Larry came back again and persisted to determine the cause of the problem. It appeared that the fan was not working which caused an overheating of the appliance which cause it to shut down entirely. Hemi (Owner) was great to deal with and stood by the repairs until the oven was fixed. Tech repair technician Patrick came to fix my fridge. He new immediately what the issue was. Gave me some tips on how to clean around the motor to ensure that the replaced mother board would live another 10 years. My appliances are high end Kitchen Aid so I really didn't want to purchase new ones. The fridge costing us $6000 and the oven $3000. I am grateful to Hemi - Larry and Patrick for persisting with the repairs until we found what the cause of the problem was. I would recommend this company highly to anyone that wants good service and qualified technicians. read more

Collin, the technician, was actually pleasant to deal with. If it were possible to make appointments with him directly this experience would have been significantly better. The RECEPTIONIST has no idea what customer service is. There is a disparity in communication between head office and technicians. Wednesday, Nov 14 - we called Bayview and told them our new fridge that came with our condo unit wasn't cooling. They asked us to ask the manufacturer for a work order. We obtained this and sent it to them. They called us back to ask for proof of purchase. We emailed this to them and were told that someone would call us back that day to schedule the repair appointment. No one called. Monday, Nov 19 - called Bayview to tell them no one called to schedule. The receptionist claimed that the technician called on Saturday and left a voicemail - my boyfriend runs his business through his cell phone and monitors his calls religiously - he did not receive any voicemails. The receptionist AGAIN told us someone would call that day to schedule the repair. Again, no one called. Tuesday, Nov 20 - called Bayview to tell them no one called. The receptionist berated us saying we need to pick up our phone . Ridiculous. We gave an additional number to reach us at and finally received a call later that day. The appointment was scheduled for next day, Nov 21, between 8 to 8:30 am . Wednesday, Nov 21 - technician did not show up before 8:30 am. Called Bayview at 8:45 to say the technician did not show up at the agreed upon time. The receptionist said this was wrong, it should be 8-10 am. I insisted that the technician said 8 - 8:30 am, she insisted that their normal procedure as a two hour window. I then said "Are you telling me I heard him wrong?" she then said maybe he was delayed at another customer or it was the weather (it is sunny out today, and there is no snow on the roads). I asked her to call the tech to verify the time window, and then to call me back to confirm. She said she would try. I did not hear back from her. At 9:30 I called the technician directly and told him I thought he had said 8-8:30 am but the receptionist said this was wrong. HE said, "No, you heard right" - he had driven in from Brampton to Markham during rush hour and apologized for being late. The service itself was fine. He explained what to say to the manufacturer if the fridge still isn't working tomorrow. My gripe is entirely with the receptionist of this company. She seems to say whatever she thinks will appease the customer at the time. She berated us TWICE, once to imply that we don't pick up the phone, the second time to say WE got the appointment time wrong, which was contradicted by the technician himself. This company is utterly unreliable and difficult to work with. They take no responsibility for their own lack of coordination with their techs. This review should be 0 stars. Beware of this company and their loose lipped receptionist. She will tell you what she expects you want to hear, but when things don't go as she says she will blame you and the weather and whatever else she can think of. read more

I can't believe this company is an official warranty service provider to a brand like Whirlpool. It was a simple dryer repair service call in Woodbridge, ON. The tech was emotionally and verbally abusive, caused intentional delays, was late for appointment, left appointments with no service provided/no explanation given. Do yourself a favor, and stay away from their horrendous service and total unprofessionalism!!! read more

We requested service for our Thermador stove, and the initial visit was great, the technician was knowledgeable and clearly explained the issue. However, no details were provided at the time about the parts needed. Months later, when we were ready to proceed, we contacted the office for the repair. We received a quote over $1,450, with no breakdown of parts, just a vague estimate that parts would cost more than $850. Despite multiple follow-ups, we were never given specific part details. For a quote of that size, we expected a clear, itemized breakdown. Instead, we received minimal information, double service fees, and poor communication. This lack of transparency makes it hard to trust the company. Just a heads-up to anyone considering them, even if they're "recommended" by Thermador, ask for full details upfront. read more

Can't book more than one week ahead, and they only ever offer one time slot in that one week. I told them I would advise Whirlpool to remove them from their authorized repair list, and they said, "Your opinion doesn't matter; they won't listen to you." That was enough for me to know that I should never deal with them. You've been warned. read more
