They installed a dishwasher , toilet bowl, and a set of blinds- the work was meticulous. I do not allow shoes in my house and they honored my request. We purchased the wrong size toilet and they came back the next day ( a Sunday ) and installed it, along with a cabinet we had purchased for above the toilet. I was extremely impressed with their cleanliness - they put drop clothes down - and their general awareness. I got the vibe they treated our house like it was their own. They removed the old washer and toilet with no questions and cleaned up with a mini-vacuum they had on hand . I highly recommend their services and will be using they again to install granite counters in the near future, soon as me and the roomie agree on a slate!

My 87 yr. old mother hired M & M Home Repair to paint the inside of her house. It had not been…read morere-painted in 21 yrs. because she is on a fixed income. Mr. Aldridge came to her house, gave her an estimate and set up a date to re-paint her house. A contract was signed which outlined the work to be completed and stated his un-conditional guarantee which stated that, if not completed correctly, he would re-do or correct any problems related to his work. Before Mr. Aldridge completed the painting, we noticed that the paint on the woodwork and doors was scratching off when rubbed up against. We had Mr. Aldridge and his wife check the problem areas. He agreed to fix the problem. When we pointed out the he had painted WATER BASED ENAMAL over OIL BASED ENAMEL, resulting in the peeling, he became angry and aggressive. He and his wife let my mother's house and SLAMMED her front door which jarred the facing and caused it to pull away from the sheetrock. My classy 87 yr. old mother was left very upset. Mr. Aldridge refused to return to fix his error. Six different contractors or painting retailers stated that anyone decent should have known that woodwork that had not been painted in 21 yrs. would have been painted with an OIL based paint and if he was un-sure, he should have checked before painting over the existing paint. After paying Mr. Aldridge $6,000. to paint 5 rooms in my mothers small home in Hoover, she will have to pay another $3,000. to fix her doors and woodwork. It has been 5 1/2 months and her rooms are still not put back together and it will be 45 more days before another contractor can repair the work. She is having to use some of her retirement funds to pay for the repairs. Mr. Aldridge and his wife and son are big talkers but be VERY WARY!! We are considering suing M & M Home Repair.
