Made a $50,000 deposit and they were so inept the lost the scan of the check. They put a 10 day…read morehold on it and released it. So the funds were available. 4 days later, they took the funds back. The deposit was a cashiers check from a local bank, in other words same as CASH. Chase never submited the check for payment to the issuing bank because guess what? No scan! So instead, they just said it was an a check deemed invalid by the issuing bank. The issuing bank immediately proved that wrong and Chase finally admitted their incompetency but meanwhile I am out $50K for 2 weeks and they earned interest on my money. You cannot trust a bank that cannot even make a transaction as complex as a cashier at a convenience store. And then not give a damn.

I have dealt with Connie approximately 4-5 times and Kayla or Kaylie ( i apologize for the spelling being off), about, 3 times. Both were excellent. While Connie is the senior staff both have a great deal of knowledge. Connie cautioned me about the consequences of taking certain actions regarding my mom's certain accounts which was helpful and I would not have been aware of the concerns if not for her knowledge. It was stressful assisting and then managing someone else's affairs and these two make the experience more endurable. They were patient with my many questions and repeated information as needed. Connie had to return calls to me and she followed through. This particular bank was such a contrast to the rude. arrogant and patronizing behavior of the Truist Brank I dealt with in Charleston on the West Side. I would advise going to ANY other bank than the one on or near Tennessee Avenue if having to work with Kanawha County. There are others there. Their personal bankers there need to take some training from the Clarksburg staff. Thanks, gals.

They need to open one up back by the Meadowbrook mall in Bridgeport! The roads around this Clarksburg location are horrible to deal with. Great Bank Tho!!
