This is the best kbbq chicken I have found so far in the area. I think about it far more often than I care to admit. The inside of this place is really nice and has a good energy. But the real thing to talk about is the korean fried chicken! Although I have tried all the flavors I do keep going back to the cheesling flavor and galbi flavor--which is convenient because they offer a half & half option. Tastes best fresh. Eat it right away to ensure the maximum crunch.

This was my first time trying Korean food and from reading reviews I ended up ordering and since I like spicy food, I ordered one of the spiciest meals on the menu. It was very tasty. I'm not sure exactly what it was tasted like a pasta, but the description said rice, cakes, and fish cakes in a spicy sauce The food took a little while since we had a party of nine people, but the restaurant owners were very nice and gave us free side dishes to go along with our already too large portion of our main meals I must say that this was very unique and I did bring my leftovers home so that means something since I plan on eating the rest of it

Totally loved the chicken here. Finally a great Korean BBQ spot in the area. The space looks small when you walk up, BUT the inside is huge. Very clean, tons of space, and cute decor. Will definitely eat in next time. The host was very nice. Their to go boxes were even super cute. The chicken was fried to perfection and very crunchy while still keeping the chicken itself very moist. Only tried a few sauces, the secret sauce YUM, the Caribbean sauce was yum yum and the gangnam sauce YUM yum yum! Can't wait try the other sauces. We got a mix of wings and boneless. I definitely preferred the wings more but everything was delicious. The food traveled well, we tried in the parking lot, then when we got home it was still very crunchy!

This place rules. It's very casual. You order when you walk in and they give you a buzzer for when your food is ready. I ordered a small order of wings with their secret sauce and a small order with their Gangnam style sauce. Both sauces were really good. The secret sauce was more sweet and tangy and the Gangnam had a little kick and it was soy sauce based. The wings are deep fried and breaded. So good. The music is popping as they play some Kpop on the TVs at the bar. This is a national chain and normally I don't review chain restaurants but for this I'll make an exception. It's really good. They are all owned by local franchises anyway so it's local. Go check them out!

BEST CHICKEN IN BUFFALO. idc what people say about wings in buffalo because i think this is the real best chicken wings in buffalo. CRISPY, flavorful, just good juicy chicken. the cheesling is my absolute favorite. if you are obsessed with cheese like me you must try it. their korean rice cake is also amazing, no complaints whatsoever. slightly pricey for a fast food vibe restaurant but the food is so good i'm not gonna complain. this place is always so empty when i come. it's self service seating so you get your food when it's ready and clean up after yourself. i like the casual vibes but the tables do tend to be more dirty because of this.

Stopped in for dinner here tonight with my wife and son. We wanted to try some Korean BBQ but settled for the Korean fried chicken. This place is HUGE. There are so many tables and a huge bar but it was empty when we came in. Ordering is a little different here as it's a counter service type of restaurant. You order at the counter and then come pick it up when your buzzer goes off. Very much a takeout spot but they have so much room to eat there. We ordered the Gangnam style and secret sauce style boneless chicken with a side of kimchi fried rice. We also got a boba tea and a mango tea as well. They had a cooler of typical soft drinks available too. Food took about 15-20 minutes to make and have ready for us but they had a nice tv with some Korean tv show on which was kind of cool! The food was good. I liked the Gangnam style chicken way more. The rice had a good amount of spice but there wasn't a lot of flavor. The secret sauce chicken was good but the flavor wasn't as good as the others. Overall, not too bad of a meal. It's a little bit pricey and you really need to try a couple of chicken styles in order to get a good experience.

Finally found a spot with Korean fried chicken the skin had an unbelievable crunch while the chicken beneath was still tender and moist. The Dbeok was good I added cheese to it and it kind of remind you of pasta but to chewy for my liking but a popular item and the pickled radish was fresh and crisp with a little sourness to it.

Love their wings! This restaurant has some of the best Korean wings I have had. Always juicy, well sauced, and fried perfectly. Both the Golden wings and Secret Sauce wings are my favorite. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Yesterday was my third time at bbq chicken, and my second time doing take out. I was super excited to see a Korean bbq chicken restaurant open in Buffalo. The first two times I enjoyed my meal but this time around I was very disappointed. We ordered a large chicken wing (cheesling), large boneless galbi and the Rose Ddeok Bokki. The total came to $75 which is honestly a bit high of a price for chicken and considering the portion sizes provided. The boneless chicken was super dry, chewy and basically inedible because of that. The rose ddeok was tasty but also insanely spicy for my personal taste. The cheeseling wings were okay, nothing super special our out of this world. Considering the prices and the low quality of the chicken provided (especially the boneless being very dry), I can't say I will be running back to bbq chicken.

I just had some mozzarella sticks so maybe I'll come back later, but this replaced what used to be my beloved Fuze Asian Grille. I guess it's not so bad, this cost about 8.75$, not so bad in an era of inflation.

I love bbq chicken. I order online and pick up and it's always so good. Chicken is nice and crispy. It's Pricey, but good. I like the half and half chicken with secret sauce, galbi wings and rice cakes with cheese. Definitely give this place a try

To like this place, there would have to be better service. The focus here is on take-out orders. If it's your first time at this location and your waiting for a hostess to seat you, good luck! It's really a self serve place with high prices. Yes, my Gangnam style wings were crispy, but floating in sauce. Sooo much sauce at the bottom of the dish! Still praying BonChon Chicken someday decides to open in town. 'Nuff said, 9 wings, side dish, beer, water $44. Threw the side dish out, no flavor.

So instead, I perused Yelp for other fast dinner options. Here I came across HCK Hot Chicken, skimmed reviews (I rarely let other people sway my opinions anyway) and after checking the small-ish menu we decided to check it out. THANK GOODNESS WE DID. The space only had a few people when we got here, and after sitting and waiting for food I did notice many to-go/takeout orders come and go. They have a SOLID menu, with many staple chicken dishes (chicken sandwich, chicken & waffles, even a mac & cheese bowl), and of course, hot sauce of varying degrees. There's also a big ol' neon sign that says "HALAL" over their menu, so I'm assuming they ARE halal to some extent (would ask to confirm). I ain't no pansy, so I got a medium heat chicken sandwich. If that's not your baseline, you don't know hot chicken baby!! One of two combos (the other being just tenders) comes with the sandwich, fries, and a drink for about $15. My husband ordered the mac and cheese bowl, also medium. Now, you know how sometimes you order medium heat, and it's more like a warmer mild? Well, that's definitely not the case here. This is where HKC would get an extra star from me if it could. SIX stars for a medium hot chicken sandwich that was ACTUALLY medium, ACTUALLY cleared out my sinuses pretty well, and the fact that I slammed that sandwich down like it was my job speaks volumes. I tried my husband's Mac too, and it was so, so good. Y'all underestimate how much I've fallen for this place. I don't even live in the area anymore, and I'm already plotting ways and reasons for me to come over here so I can stop by for lunch when so desired. Staff was also very pleasant! We didn't spend too much time waiting in the lobby, an our food was out within 10 minutes of ordering. They're advertising as "made to order" and I can concur with that - our meals were fresh, and of course, HOT! I need these guys to move next door to my house! Until then, I'll be back to visit soon for sure.

My Dad and I used to visit Boston Market (particularly this location and the Delaware Avenue…read morelocation) quite often during its last few years in business. We had a sixth sense that the chain wasn't doing so good, which was a shame because their recipes for their food were wonderful. They were one of, if not the only, rotisserie chicken restaurants left in town that really put a nice spin on their food's taste ever since Swiss Chalet left Buffalo years ago. I'm aware that Swiss Chalet is still available in Canada, and that you simply need to cross the Canadian border to eat at Swiss Chalet again. But...let's be honest, after September 2001, no one has ever said that crossing the Canadian border is an easy task. Technology has come far, let me tell ya...you can see most every advancement in technology ever made as you slowly drive up to that interview podium on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, recording your every move and every word... But enough about the difficulties of crossing into Canada. Boston Market was previously owned by Sun Capital Partners, before selling the business to the Rohan Group. This is important because Dad and I used to have good memories of Boston Market when the company was owned by Sun Capital, and each firm before that, because those companies knew to keep the food recipes consistently tasty throughout their run. Emphasis on "consistent". Just like how McDonald's makes the same Big Mac recipe at each location, Boston Market used to have standard recipes for how to specifically cook and prepare each food item, so that the taste of each batch of food was consistent with the batch prepared before it. Dad and I were devastated to find out that Boston Market shut down most, if not all, of their locations across the country back in 2023 due to financial problems. And we were just as shocked to find out that Boston Market was making a big comeback in 2025, with the Maple Road location being the first to reopen its doors. In fact, the owner plans to open up to 10 locations across the Buffalo area. Wow! Ten locations? What a deal! Ten spots across Buffalo to enjoy some delicious rotisserie chicken, mac and cheese, creamed spinach, and their decadent (albeit inconsistent in pillowy soft-to-rock hard textured) cornbread! And then came that fateful day when we visited Rohan Group's newly reopened Boston Market on Maple Road... ...the horror... To start off, the employees were scrambling all over the place inside. Dad even saw one employee (with gloves on, at least) digging his hands into some chicken and eating it, multiple times. The employee was in full view of the customers that were ordering. It took about five minutes for the employees to even acknowledge us for an order. Not because they were hiding in the back. They fully saw us. They were just fidgeting around with slowly fulfilling other orders while consistently ignoring us. An employee tried three times to reach into the glass case to pick up a hot metal tray of creamed spinach, without any gloves on to protect her from potential burns. The menu and side items looked a little different through the (smaller) glass case, but at first I thought it would be fine, as long as the food tasted the same as it used to when Sun Capital owned it. After ordering, we found out only after paying for my drink that the soda fountain was down, and that we needed to get our drinks via pre-packaged cans and bottles in the freezer up front. This was not only awkward, but now, I was limited to one small bottle of soda with my meal instead of unlimited refills of soda. The food came packaged in this sketchy-looking plastic take-out case, instead of the food being on plates as we were used to, but fine. As long as the food was still the same quality, I'd be fine paying $22 for my 12 oz soda and my take-out case filled with food. Oh, God...I have to talk about the food now... Remember when I said that Sun Capital's Boston Market used to make the chicken taste so good and unique (which was the main reason we came back to eat there)? Well, not any more! The rotisserie chicken, the main star attraction of the place, now tastes like a generic Tops Market rotisserie chicken that you can buy for like $6. And what baffles me even more than the change in taste is that you're still paying as premium of a price for your chicken at Boston Market now as you were back when Sun Capital owned it! Gotta love that post-Covid inflation pricing! Sun Capital's Boston Market was already expensive enough, but at least you knew you were paying for quality. And this isn't quality. The sweet potatoes were liquidy and had waaaay too much sugar and cinnamon in them. Stupid Yelp character limit!!! Parts 2 & 3 of the review can be seen via the attached pictures.

Food isn't bad, not as good as I remember, but pretty good. Owner needs to bring in some personall that remember how Boston Market used to be run. Just need to give it some time. I'll be back again ( fix that leak)

We were in Buffalo to go to the AKG museum. We were inside for better than 3 hours and were hungry…read more Buffalo....Duff's wings. The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

All right, I hope everybody remembers when they read these reviews that it's all a matter of…read moreopinion I know everybody loves Duff's wings, and well, probably the actual restaurant and everything This was my first time going in there, and I did not care for The surroundings at all. Tables were too close, people are way too loud. I can't eat in loud surroundings. I don't like that, and it was so hot in there that it made me very uncomfortable. I believe all restaurants and bars, etc. should be air-conditioned and make people comfortable. If they're too cold, they can always put on a jacket but when you're too hot, I can't take much off. I ordered the roast beef on Weck and fries instead of potato chips. I was very satisfied it was delicious. Very expensive, I found everything was very expensive on the menu, but if you want good food, I guess that's what you gotta do is pay more. Jim ordered mild wings, they still looked good even though I'm a hot wing person. I was looking at everybody else's huge plates of wings that were coming out and they looked so amazing. I'm definitely gonna get some to take home some time. Anyway, the wings looked good smelled good, Jim said they were very good, my sandwich was good. The fries were good, the waitresses were nice so the service was pretty good. But again too small, too loud, too hot, and those things just don't make me happy. I probably would go in there again and eat if somebody else wanted to, but I'd rather take my food to go next time. One other issue I had is definitely the restroom. That had to be the smallest stall I have ever been in. Anytime I moved I banged into one of the walls. They have two stalls in there, which to me is definitely not enough when you're serving "spicy hot " food. At one point there was five people in the restroom. Luckily, I just had to wash my hands in that visit. But the restroom is way too small and when I talk to Jim about the ladies room, he said the men's room is super small too, so they're probably about the same size. So that was definitely a negative thing for me was the restroom.
