I ended up going with the rose one. I will say it was good, and I would get it again if they offered it as a side portion, but I just don't see myself eating a full one. It might take forever for your food to come out, but the Korean fried chicken here is the best in Orlando! The Golden Original flavor is crunchy, juicy, and so flavorful. We also love the Hot Mala, Honey Garlic, and Soy Garlic. All are absolute flavor bombs; and if you get any of the spicy ones, be prepared for SPICE. It was a good pain, but don't underestimate it. We've also had the tteokbokki and rose tteokbokki and enjoyed both! The flavors and spice were both on point; but the rose was a bit milder. This was my first time trying bbq chicken and it was a pretty good experience . I saw an instagram reel and was like the chicken looks so good and airy so I had to check it out. This spot is a hidden gem and located on e colonial . So my friend and I went and we tried the secret sauce . It is about a 20 minute wait and it comes with eight wings. I should note the chicken is made fresh so be prepared to wait for a while. The chicken was crispy and you can tell it had a nice crisp to it . The sauce was really sticky and sweet and had a little tang to it. This really enhanced the chicken in my opinion. I really enjoyed it and the size of the chicken was portioned well. The server was really nice and made a great recommendation. The only thing I didn't like is you do have to park and walk . I would suggest parking next to the Publix . My main issue was the price . I don't think the wings are worth 15 dollars. Yes they are really good but not worth $15 dollars good. It makes it hard if you want to try any other menu items . We were in the mood for Korean chicken wing. This place was highly recommended, with a reasonable price and looked new to the area. We walked in at 4pm and it was busy backed up. They were training and I understand how that goes, so I get it. They were having issues ringing up my order for it seems that the trainer didn't know much either. Kinda like the blind leading the blind. This is a quick service establishment. They politely told the next guests after us that it would be a 30 min wait for food so they left. Another guest is upset that her food is taking too long as well. Same with the DoorDash driver. With another Korean chicken spot on the same road, I can see where this will be an ongoing issue if not addressed. The establishment itself is nice and modern casual. They play videos on tv with K-POP music on in the background. Tables needed to be wiped and picked up after. After the rush I did see the employees tidy up the place. Something was going on in the bathroom. At the stand it smelt like poop. We tried to go wash our hands but it was closed off so maybe something happened. We ordered Galbi & Soy Garlic Bone in wings. It took about 20 mins for our food to be prepared. They came out hot, crispy and sauced. The Galbi flavor was spot on. They advertise that the chicken is 100 percent fresh; I felt as if the wings were small for fried Korean wings. My whole order came out to 31.84 which is actually pricy. I find myself constantly craving bb.q chicken, I've been a few times to this location and I have to say they never disappoint! This past visit I got a small order of the Galbi wings and Rose Ddeok-Bokki. I love the savory-sweet flavor of the Galbi sauce, I think it works perfectly with the crispy batter of the chicken. I have a lower spice tolerance so that's why I opt for the Rose Ddeok-Bokki over the original. It still has a bit of a kick but balances out well if you add cheese to it. Just make sure you eat the Ddeok-Bokki fresh because it tends to harden if you're looking to have it for leftovers. You'll have to re-steam them if you want to eat them later. The service is a little slower than average, I waited about 20-30 mins for my order on this particular visit but the food always comes out fresh so I'll take the wait! It took just under 20 minutes to receive our order (which is what the cashier has estimated). The wings looked good, crispy, and came with a small side of cubed pickled radish. While the wings looked good, the flavor was bland with a subtle spice. While the breading had nice texture, it also had a unpleasant earthy and musky smell. The wings were adequate, we finished all of them, but they did not stand out from other fast food fried chicken restaurants. The wait was long for fast food, three cooks in the back. Our fried dumplings came out 20 mins after our chicken. The golden original dark meat, crispy coating was good. Extra $1.95 for one side of sauce, about 6 Tablespoons. My husband thought it had a chemical taste but I didn't. Dumplings looked to be handmade and were good too. Maybe that's why they took longer. My friend and I made plans to go to bb.q chicken one Saturday, but we got the locations mixed up. (I thought we were going to the Dr. Phillips location and she already was at the Colonial one.) I drove over to East Colonial and thankfully found a spot to park behind the restaurant. The restaurant has a couple of tables or will let you order to go. It doesn't have a lot of space so if you go during a peak time, either order to go or try to get there early to find seating. (Parking can also be affected by the lunch crush as well, as many want to avoid street parking and prefer the lot behind the restaurant.) You go up to the counter and order your food. Please keep in mind if you order at the restaurant, they make it fresh so you will have to wait. I ordered the secret spicy boneless chicken. They quoted me 20-30 minutes, but I feel it only took closer to 12-15 minutes. Chicken was crunchy and the sauce was generous on all of the pieces of chicken. Meat was not dry at all. They give you the pickled daikon radish on the side with your chicken to compliment the dish.
