From start to finish, the team at BBQ Grill Outlet San Juan Capistrano did an awesome job! Jim Delong got the ball rolling with an awesome plan and furnishing recommendations, followed up by Tim Hopper and his thorough prep for his construction team. Jose & Nick put the framing together, Gustavo and Leo did an incredible job with the tile, and Jose & Nick came back to finish it up today with stucco and appliance installation. I had a new replacement grill installed by BBQ Grill Outlet today at home. The installation was completed by Jose and Nick and have been supported by Lisa at the office location. The install was done in a timely manner. They arrived at the appointed time, performed their work in a clean and efficient manner. Actually came in under the original cost estimate for the install and were very polite and helpful in explaining how to make the grill work properly. Overall I was very satisfied with the whole experience. I will use them again and recommend to other people.

We had a custom BBQ island built and installed by BBQ Grill Outlet last week, a corner configuration including grill, side burner, fridge, trash and sink. Tim in sales/design in the Lake Forest store helped us create exactly what we wanted and choose appliances/accessories and Tim in Operations coordinated the install and scheduling. Both Tims responded quickly to emails, answered questions along the way, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Leonel & Cristhian did the install, completion of the building of the unit on site, stucco and appliances, and Leonardo & Gustavo did the tile and backsplash. Both teams did an excellent job, were on time and polite, paid attention to detail, and cleaned up after themselves. A little glitch with the grill igniter which didn't seem to be working, but this was addressed promptly and another brand new grill installed 2 days later. We were happy to be able to have friends over to break in the new grill this weekend.

Found this place on Yelp, in search of the ultimate bbq grill. And we weren't disappointed. We were immediately greeted by Mike. He gave us an education on EVERYTHING that has to do with grills. What a selection!!! While we didn't purchase a grill on the spot, we will most definitely return to get our grill here. Excellent customer service, and the patience of a Saint, these grills were not cheap. They even have pizza ovens for outdoors! I was impressed with everything about this place, and I learned something along the way. If you are seriously interested in purchasing a grill that is built to last, go here. My wife and I are installing a new outdoor kitchen in our backyard. After doing quite a bit of research online for what types of products I wanted, I visited several stores to get an expert opinion. Of all of the shops, I believe that BBQ Grill Outlet's staff provided the most helpful opinions (and even helped me think through the layout of the kitchen, we ended up flipping it around to make it more accessible!). Tim Sullivan and the guys at the BBQ Grill Outlet far exceeded any expectations. They were recommended by my designer who created the blueprints for our new backyard bbq and kitchen and they were everything he said they would be. The have grills and accessories for any budget. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable with the products and recommendations without any pressure. Tim Sullivan talked to our designer and our contractor to ensure that the right pieces were bought on the front end and gave excellent suggestions throughout the project. This is a nice, low-key place to come for your barbecue and fireplace needs. I came in and got a quick education in modern gas logs, was left with plenty of time by myself to peruse the offerings, and walked out satisfied with my new purchase. Great experience from beginning to completion. Nick helped me plan the BBQ Island and fire table, Tim helped explain construction and how things worked, and managed the fabrication of the components. I only shop for BBQ supplies at this BBQ Grill Outlet. I want to share one story of many that are all of a consistent, exemplary experience at this fine local business. I was in a hurry for a weekend BBQ. As usual, I overcommitted and did not seek any help to prepare. I realized at the last minute I needed the natural Oak hardwood charcoal I only find at this store. I showed up just as Tim was locking up the store. Tim saw me approach and asked what I needed. He had just closed up shop, after a long day no doubt, and heading to his car. One bag of coal, I said. Not only did Tim reopen the store and provide me the charcoal - TIM DID NOT COLLECT ANY MONEY. He simply said, you can square up with us next time you are in. That is an example of the service Tim and his team provide every time i visit this local business. Thank you Tim and team for always having my BBQ needs covered with the best service in town!! I first came to this place to find a replacement drop in gas grill for my grill island. I had done my research and knew exactly what would fit. They had the DCS grill I wanted at the same price I found online, but with personalized service. They offered excellent installation service that went the extra mile to replace valves and regulator at no additional cost. I cold not be happier with my grill! The shortly after I needed to replace my gas log set . They were very helpful helping me to choose the right set that would fit my fireplace. The set was ordered and arrived in less than one week. My new BBQ grill looks great! These guys build custom grill stands from scratch, from basic to elaborate. They coordinate the assembly, insulation/drywall, tile/grout and stucco trades for a complete installation. Each trade did a most professional job. Jose and Nick were the final installers for the cabinetry and stucco. They take a lot of pride in their work from beginning to final cleanup. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

The owner-installer was bit late for that appointment, but we could easily accommodate the shifted time. The initial visit went well and was very positive. Good product knowledge and install capabilities were demonstrated. An initial quote was provided shortly after the visit around the 1st of December 2025. The pricing was competitive in many areas and I had some follow up questions on others. Unfortunately I had a difficult time getting responses to my follow on calls to discuss the quote and more precise schedule timing. I finally got ahold of someone at the phone number who takes calls. She was able to answer some questions, the rest were to be answered with a return call by the owner-installer who had visited. Again, no response. After the holidays I did try again and left a voice mail. I got a text telling me that I would get a callback later in the day when he freed up. No followup. So now I have been pursuing other options. Two stars for initial engagement and quote. No additional stars for responsiveness and timeliness.

BJ, the owner, came at the time set and we both looked at my grill and instantly agreed the any repairs would be pointless and I should have a new grill. He didn't pitch it but I realized that my grill was disgusting and old. So he proposed a new DCS and a Diablo Bull, which was about $ 2500 less and looked great. Today is Thursday and his guys, led by Jose, have just installed it and it fits and looks beautiful ! They cleaned out the entire outdoor counter area and cleaned up spotlessly. Then BJ came over to check their work and make sure I was satisfied. Oh yes, the grill I bought was sold to me at about a 4.5% discount to the same grill being sold online at Lowes ! BJ calls it the friends and family discount or wholesale to the public. The software they use for signed agreements, deposits and payments is as good an interface and as easy and no hassle as any I've encountered. I know they only have 5 star reviews but here's another. They charge you for on-site inspections, and if you pay by card, they impose ridiculously high fees, essentially forcing you to do business with them. On top of that, they find all kinds of excuses to overcharge for inspection fees. Last time, they charged me $160 for an inspection, which couldn't even be fully applied toward the service--it's clear they're money-hungry to the extreme. The business is run by the owner, his daughter, and a technician. Their communication is terrible--none of them seem to know what the others are doing. Here are just a few of the issues I encountered: 1. Terrible Appointment System: They take days to respond to appointment requests. If you don't reply instantly, they'll ghost you for several days, resulting in an appointment being pushed back by three weeks. 2. Suspicious Payment Practices: They insisted we pay in cash to get a discount, which makes me strongly suspect they're evading taxes! 3. Ridiculous Price Increases: Initially, they quoted $241 to add an igniter. During the first service, we opted for just cleaning, which cost us $1,300 after a so-called discount (and we had to pay in cash). When we asked them to come back to install the igniter later, their daughter quoted $425, tacked on various made-up charges, and even added a $99 service call fee--just for a 10-minute igniter installation that didn't require any inspection. In summary, they overcharge at every turn. Avoid this place unless you want your wallet emptied with nothing to show for it! The only positive note is that the technician cleaned the floor after completing the work (it took about three hours for one person to finish), but even that doesn't make up for how awful the owner and their main contact person are. They're rude, unprofessional, and blatantly overcharge. The owner even claimed that all the negative Yelp reviews are written by "bad people," which is laughable! Do yourself a favor--look for a company with better Yelp reviews. You'll save money and avoid the frustration!

Inside, also is therapy...Gorgeous decoration and they were so selective about every piece they sell so it was an enjoyable shopping experience. Also, i love their return policy they have 1 year exchange or store policy and i attached it for review. I ended up buying lot of cute things that i didnt have plans to buy but its ended up another great selection to my little garden. Started my 2019 BBQ kitchen project and chose the right partner! The guys got done with the island install on Saturday as planned. Just wanted to let you know I am very impressed with their professionalism and customer service. There were between 2-4 guys working as a team and they all introduced themselves and we're really personable and friendly throughout. The quality of work is also great and they cleaned up well and left the place in the condition they found it. Overall, I am very happy with the island construction and quality and the installation services performed, I also enjoyed working with Jim on the design work and it is obvious that he enjoys what he does and also delivers a high level of customer service, always responding quickly to my multitude of ideas and questions. This review is specific to one employee: Bob Hahn Bob was great! He is very knowledgeable and he provided great advice and perspective for my backyard remodel. I walked into the store after doing some research focused on the ultra premium brands but Bob really reigned me in and showed some quality products with similar features/benefits but at a lower price point. Bob was not aggressive at all but his experience and understanding of outdoor BBQ equipment was definitely appreciated. On top of that, Bob's design skills were top notch. Bob designed an amazing 12' custom island to house a Primo, a Lynx and an outdoor fridge with counter space on each side. This place is fantastic, and I have to say that working with Bob was truly a pleasure. We ended up doing a custom BBQ island as well as fireplace for our back yard, and he did such a great job of walking us through the design and selection process. I probably met or called him at least 10 times just so that I could get his opinion on a variety of things. I never once felt like I was inconveniencing him (which is saying something considering how 'hands-on' I was). In the end, the build and install went smoothly, and we couldn't be happier with what we purchased. I did do a lot of price shopping before deciding to go with them, and I can tell you that the exact same prefab fireplace unit was selling for several hundred dollars more just down the 5. So between the service and the prices, this is the place to go. read more

We purchased a 38" Delta Heat Grill here and had a great experience. Tony was super helpful with all (and I mean ALL) of our (many) questions. He even offered to help with the design of our built in BBQ set up. Tony was very knowledgeable and patient, and even gave helpful opinions and advice on the items he wasn't directly involved with (the outdoor fridge, sink, etc). Fernando came in in a pinch to make sure we got the grill cover. He even FedEx'ed it to us at home to save us a trip. These guys are knowledgeable, welcoming and helpful. After 28 years, the old barbecue had to go. Went to BBQ Grill Outlets and work with Tim to find the replacements. Decided on the new DCS grill, added the side burners and some built in cabinets along with an island. Tim was great throughout the whole process and kept me up to date with delivery exp0ectations.
