Been here twice, both times within the same week my gel nails peeled off. NEVER coming here again.

I really like this place because it smells good. Many nail salons have a chemical smell and seem stuffy. The staff has always been nice and perfectly chatty (not too little, or too much). I bring my daughter and they go above and beyond to cater to her crazy kid requests. They offer beverages, even bubbly while you relax on the couch. Since it's not the typical row of spa pedicure chairs, it's a charming space. We'll be back. read more

Came here for a private mani-pedi party for my BMs the day before my wedding (9/21/13). It was SO fun! Setting up the time/date was super easy. We ran late that morning but the staff was so nice about it and still spent time perfecting the polish on our fingers and toes. The decor is so girly and fun - couches are comfy. They gave us warm neck pillows and kept our mimosas coming (they let us bring the stuff in). They use great quality polishes and both mani and pedi lasted over a week. (I skipped the gelish stuff). It's great to finally find a nail salon that caters to customer service. I'm so tired of all the nail salons that treat you like a number rather than a client. The staff was very friendly and they made me feel at home. I got glitter gel on my hands and feet and it lasted for weeks. Love this place!!! read more

I really enjoyed Be Polished - but it is definitely very different from any other nail salon I've been to! Great manicure and pedicure, great color and polish selections, very nice cosmetologists, and a delicious mimosa. Only draw backs is that it was very quiet, and felt somewhat odd just putting my feet on the person's lap since you're just sitting on couches. But I think if I got used to it I would like it. Prices reasonable for the service you get. Not very quick, but I wasn't in a hurry. Cool, different type of salon. read more

I had a great experience. I got gels and they came off in a week. They replaced them for free. The second set lasted for weeks. Their customer service is outstanding. The only thing I would like to be different are the pedi chairs. Otherwise I would have given them 5 STARS. read more

The best pedicure ever! I don't know what took me so long to visit BE Polished. Walk in to a very comfortable yet cool environment. Mary greeted me with a warm smile at the front desk and I was immediately made to feel at home. I was asked if I wanted a beverage which was nice and offered an warm neck pillow! Bonus! I felt like a movie star., relaxing on the couch while Jennie took care of my feet. So sweet and did an awesome job. My feet were looking rough when I came in and by the time I left they looked great! Highly recommend. Positive experience in every way. Tip: Don't expect the usual hum drum pedicure experience. Can't speak for the manicure as I didn't have one but looking forward to returning. Would be great to experience with a friend or a group as well. read more

Love the decor in this place!!! All i could think was "I want these items in my house!" The pedicure was amazing! Much better then any "chop shop" and me feet definitely felt more smooth and refreshed then they would have leaving a "chop shop." My one complaint is that my nail polished peeled off whole a couple days later and I had to repaint with my own polish, not sure if this was from the new polish they had that I tried or if there was leftover lotion on my toenail. Came in for a girls afternoon with my mom and godmother for pedicures. I'm visiting the area from Connecticut (my mom was visiting from colorado). The atmosphere is calming and very inviting. Elizabeth did my pedicure. She gives an amazing leg/foot massage. Simply the best! The warm neck pillow and glass of champagne were icing on the cake. One of the best pedicured I've ever had. Bottom line: extremely friendly staff, great service, will definitely come back/recommend to friends. read more

I made an appointment for a pedicure this afternoon on Mothers Day. A gift to myself since my daughters couldn't be with me. When I made the appointment, I was hoping to get a mani/pedi, however, I let them know I only had an hour and would just do a pedi. I arrived 10 minutes early was seated and asked to wait. After my appointment time, I was approached thinking they might offer me something to drink while I was waiting. No, I was asked in I was in a hurry. I let her know again I only had an hour. She informed me a client who had a mani now wanted a pedi. To my dismay, she actually told them sure why not and asked me to wait. Hmmm, when I booked the appointment, she told me the pedi took an hour. I opted to not stay. As a local and new client, I decided they did not want nor need my money. Horribly dissappointed - I could have made an appointment elsewhere but, being a local, I thought I'd give them a try. Would not return and wont recoomend to my friends and clients. read more

I am new to Coronado and have been searching for a new nail place... No need to look any further.. this place is seriously AMAZING! My girlfriend got it right when she said if guys have a "Man Cave" this is exactly what I want my "Girl Cave" to look like! I've been meaning to write this review for some time now! Months actually! My mom and I went here for pedicures at the last minute one day and I've got to say, we had such a wonderful time! The women in the shop were so pleasant, including the owner who is very down to Earth, and what I liked most is that during our pedicures, the girls were actually able to hold a conversation the whole time! They didn't talk in another language about how gross our feet were while massaging them (this is what I assume the oriental women must talk about during my usual pedicures lol jk jk of course), but rather, they actually engaged us in thoughtful conversation and even let us relax when it was sensed that we wanted to. The only thing I might critique is that this pedicure would be out of this world bomb diggity if somehow the water was kept just a little hotter, longer. That was neither here nor there though, because, for my mom and I, we were so lost in conversation drinking our coffees that it didn't even matter. What really topped the experience off for me, and sparked the need for a review, was when the boss personally went in search of new sandals so that I could leave without damaging my pedicure. I had stupidly worn closed toed shoes to my pedi and she graciously accorded me with the proper garments so that I could leave functionally! Thank you BE polished. What a refreshing environment! I had a special event coming up and went to BE Polished to get a manicure and pedicure. The second I walked in, I was greeted friendly, was offered champagne and the warm pillow, and seated with a lovely young woman who carefully started on my nails. The music was so soothing, and I could honestly block all my stress out, which is exactly what I needed. They have fun glitter nail polish, and for the pedicure they accommodate you on their stylish couches. Plus, once you're there, you can't help but wander over to their cute shop on the other side! This is definitely my new go-to place for that rejuvenating experience! read more

This place just isn't for me. I like the mimosa, and everyone is super friendly and does a good enough job on nails.. but I don't want to sit hunched over on an antique sofa to get my nails done. I prefer a massage chair and something more than a shallow pan of water for my feet to soak in. People must love it though because I'm never able to get in for a walk in. Wife and I were on vacation and popped in here so she should get a mani / pedi. We walked in and were greeted immediately by the super friendly staff. They offered us a seat on the couch together and offered us both hot neck pillows and mimosas! A+ I sat comfortably while Angie took care of the wife's nails. She was incredible and wonderful to chat with. While I didn't get my nails done personally my wife was thoroughly pleased with her experience. This place was amazing. They use copper bowls for the pedicures which is an antibacterial and anti fungal which is huge for me. I luxuriated on a couch with a hot towel on my neck while they cleaned, clipped, buffed and polished my toes. The massage was great and it is very airy and open to the street so the sunny San Diego breeze comes in. And no smell of acrylic nails which was nice. The staff was very friendly and my pedicurist gave me a military discount which was nice. This place was a gem! Would definitely use this place monthly if we lived here. read more

As a group of four, we enjoyed tea, mimosas, and mani/pedis in an intimate setting with women who invited us into what felt like their home. Copper basins soaked our weary feet while warm wraps relaxed our aching shoulders. It was a refreshing, comfortable, intimate setting that far surpassed the sterile atmosphere of a strip mall auto-polish. Highly recommend!! read more

It is a very clean environment and I have gone to every nail tech at least once and all have been super sweet and very talented! My favorite nail salon in San Diego County. For me it's a trek to come down here but worth it. Everything is so cute and cozy, the girls are sweet at it's the best service at reasonable prices. I like that they are super clean, copper tubs, bath bombs, no acrylics so there isn't gross dust everywhere. They have the best selection of shellac and they carry Vynlux (my favorite!). This is truly a top level nail salon that you typically would see at a day spa or pay $$$$ for. read more

Still phenomenal, but I would refrain from getting your eyebrows done at the new location. Mani/pedi was spectacular (as always) but they do the eyebrows in the same area as the manicures and pedicures, and it's really awkward. It's a regular chair, which means no neck support, and it's odd having everyone waiting for manis/pedis, or having mani/pedis, watching you get your eyebrows done in the middle of the room! read more

I live in Coronado and highly recommend this salon. I went last week for the first time and had a great experience. They fit me in with a last minute appointment. The pedicure was EXCELLENT and used high quality polish. Everyone was kind and accommodating. My feet still look beautiful a week later. Nice to know this salon is right down the street. read more

I wanted to like this place. The atmosphere was nice...shabby sheik...good idea. Mimosas were nice touch. However the quality of the manicure was pretty bad. Especially for the price!!! The gal I had was obviously trying, but just REALLY not cutting it. (I went with two friends and they had similar experiences) read more
