I walked straight past this place initially, as I've always sort of rolled my eyes at overpriced airport mini spas. But ten steps later I thought what the hell, and turned back to have a look. If only I'd discovered it sooner - it's actually towards the end of the shops and next to the gate security check. As it was, I'd spent too much time in duty free, spraying stuff on myself and lingering for free whisky. So with half an hour left to kill, the cute lady said she could do me a shellac manicure in 20 mins for 15 euros - more than you'd pay elsewhere, but my inner monologue swiftly justified it with how great the euro exchange rate is atm! They made me feel like a million dollars in there (cue lots of compliments on what very elegant hands I have which I'll take as genuine ;). I went for a nude colour in the gel and was really happy with how it turned out. I've never been the kind of girl who gets her nails done regularly (and have only had shellac once before in HK out of curiosity and because it was super cheap!) but I think I may have developed a new habit... They also have plenty of massage chairs and other mani pedi services available if you have a bit longer than I did. I would have given them 5 stars just for how lovely they were, but I've already lost one of the gel nails in less than 2wks when she said it'd last 3 (though I probably do a lot more with my hands). It made me feel very jet-set anyway and was the perfect bit of TLC I needed to give myself - and hey, you can't put a price on that :)

BeRelax travel neck pillow…read more Advice: do not purchase the BeRelax neck pillows, the zippers are diffectuous. I've hand washed the pillow cover, however was not able to close the zipper after I put the pillow inside the cover. The sales representative was nice enough to exchange for me, since I still had the receipt, and was able to pass by the same stand, at the same terminal, barely a week after the date of purchase. But,the exchanged pillow has the same problem. At the airport, when I tried to open it and close it, it got stuck. The salesperson said that I have to do it extremely carefully, I did so, and managed to close it. However once back home, I have experienced the same problem: was not able to close the zipper after I have washed the cover. Although, I have carefully hand washed it, and VERY carefully tried to close the zipper. Bottom line, bad zipper quality for the price you pay: 35 EUROS !

Which is nice not having to sit there for an hour + The first time I went it was about an hour wait, and the woman who waxed me was gentle and did a lovely job. She talked to me and made me feel comfortable about getting a bikini wax. The second time I went I had to wait longer, but I think that had to do with the time of day. The woman who waxed me was anything but gentle. She didn't seem to be experienced? She didn't use any baby powder and when I told her that the wax was very hot her response was "yes it is" ....usually they cool it down a bit especially on such s sensitive area! I don't know if I'll go back again because you don't seem to be able to choose your aesthetician.

The "depiladoras" clearly have no time to ask common questions like "Is the wax too hot"? or even try to make the experience as painless as possible. I would recommend Wax In The City to those who wants a salon conveniently located and "without risks" (clean and with professional staff). However, if you already know a smaller salon with a nice staff who has time to do the work... Don't leave it.

Die Dame dort hatte eine schreckliche Einstellung, schrie mich an und sagte mir, dass sie so ihre Arbeit machen. Ich fühlte mich furchtbar. Alle ihre Kolleginnen fingen an, mich anzuschreien und mir zu sagen, dass ich genauso wie sie 10 € zahlen müsse und sie den Job erledigt hätte. Sie zerrten mich sogar aus dem Salon und schrien mich an, schimpften mich aus! So etwas habe ich in meinem Leben noch nie erlebt. Ich konnte den Standort auf Google MAPS nicht finden! Ich habe keinen Manager oder Chef erreichen können! Sie sagten mir, dass sie mir nicht IHRE NAMEN geben können und dass sie keinen Chef oder Manager haben! Schrecklich!!!!! Today 13.01.2025 I was in this salon! I wanted to have my old nails removed! And this was the result. I was shocked !!! The lady there had a terrible attitude, yelling at me and telling me that this is how they do their work. I felt horrible. All her coworkers started yelling at me and telling me that I had to pay 10€ just like her and she did the job. They were actually kicking me out of the salon yelling at me, yelling bad words! I have never experienced anything like that in my life. I couldn't find the location on Google MAPS! I couldn't contact any of the managers or bosses! I tried both shellac and gel and I had to come back for each as the manicure was deteriorated and had some nails broken (as there was no more product to support it). Also after having my shellac appointment I had to go back also because there were not enough top coats on the nails which led to having them bend with every move plus they became very painful (could not even do basic things). Also, regarding appointments they sometimes do not keep proper track of them so you either end up waiting for minutes or going back home (my case during my 1st appointment), having a new appointment established (which is a pain in the a$$ for us working 9-6). A shame that nobody replies to the complaints via emails anymore! Somebody should apologise for all the above. I wish these people would have "sorry" in their vocab! The photo attached is my gel mani (47 EUR) after 5 days. The nail got broken 2 days later!
