Late upload- A…read morefabulous place to stay...long term...a few days or day pass, your choice Due to the resorts popularity and the elite (famous artists/actors & families/business socialites) icons spending their mini stay in this resort, prices are extremely high. However, they do give amzing service to the most parts where needed. The lobby is a bustling line of patrons patiently awaiting to check in, a good 30 to 60 minutes on a busy day and perhaps longer on busier season and special holidays. They don't leave you unattended while waiting, a fresh juice and pastry is served while standing in line After checking in you can explore the massive hotel inside and out. There's a lot to see and check out. The rooms are great and modern, I mean I could get a phenomenal room at Cesar's Palace in Vegas for a cheaper price but the hospitality and service here is superb (i think that's what you're paying half the price of your stay!) There's an array of food to choose from. Asian cuisine, western cooking, a few Mediterranean dishes and of course the staple dishes of Cebu. The menu changes from breakfast to lunch and dinner. You will enjoy tasting dishes you have not tried before and the meal comes with your package. There's a list of restaurants and stores in the area to explore. You don't have to leave the resort at all. Anything you could possibly need during your stay is provided for. Sauna, massage, fitness and nature are at the tips of your fingers. Relax and enjoy your stay! A few photos to share with the best traveler uncle Arthur!

If you're coming from the U.S., this place feels very comparable to an American hotel in all the best ways. The water pressure was strong, the hot water was instant, and the room felt clean and comfortable. The toilets are a little different, but you're in another country, and it was easy to adjust. Most importantly, I felt completely safe and at ease the entire stay. Everyone -- and I truly mean everyone -- was kind, respectful, and welcoming. We were treated like first‑class guests from the moment we arrived. Honestly, that's how the Philippines is as a whole: warm, gracious, and always making tourists feel taken care of. If you're considering this hotel, don't hesitate. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again.

We paid to have breakfast included and it was a nice buffet style with local options as well as typical "American" breakfast items. We also ate in the main restaurant (desserts were amazing), had room service a couple times, and had several drinks and meals at the pool area. The service staff is very friendly and professional. The beach area is clean, however the water is very shallow and the tide goes out quite far leaving not the best view until it returns. Sunrise is amazing right over the water. We did the parasailing which was 3000/pax and was a one-way 15 minute ride down the beach. My daughter got a henna tattoo from S and J Henna Tattoo (on site) and was very happy with the job they did. The only downside I could mention is that we were there in mid-December and many local businesses were doing holiday parties during this time at the resort. We were provided notice each evening prior, however the events were onsite and quite loud - one day hosting two simultaneous events both using loud microphones. Not as relaxing as we had hoped. But they lasted only a few hours then the resort went back to normal. We were able to catch "Grabs" right out front to take us to shops/spas/restaurants when we wanted to get off site and of course those were very affordable - $2 US each way. Overall a great place to stay. I would highly recommend.

Overall we had a great experience at this resort, we checked in and they brought our bags to the room that were nicely AC'd, had a mini fridge, purified water, tea, and instant coffee along with a kettle. There's 3 pools and private beach access, not much more you can ask for! The main restaurant is allegro, which is a buffet, but you can order items a la carte. If you choose when booking, you can have it so breakfast is included with your room, which we did and I highly recommend doing. The breakfast buffet is great! Many Filipino, American, and other Asian food options. I didn't go for lunch and went once for dinner, it's about $23 and it was the Cebu food fest night, I think I would've preferred going on a normal night and I don't think it was really worth the price. We didn't checkout their seafood restaurant, which is over the water so can't speak for that. We loved the staff, they were so nice and attentive and we took a picture with our main bartender on our last night! The resort did their best to make sure we had the best trip possible and I would recommend this resort if you're looking for a place to stay in mactan-Cebu.

The Crimson Resort and Spa is a beautiful beachfront resort located in Mactan, Cebu, Philippines…read more This was the fourth resort I stayed at during my Philippines trip. While the drive to the resort is fairly simple and the surrounding landscape is plain, everything changes the moment you arrive. Once inside the property is exquisite. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and offered a refreshing Cebu iced tea welcome drink. Check-in was quick and pleasant, and I was pleasantly surprised that my room was upgraded to a Deluxe Garden Room. The Deluxe Garden Room features a garden view, a large king size bed and a spacious open plan bathroom with a sunk-in tub and rain shower. The mini bar is complimentary on the first night and includes Cebu mango treats, orange and mango drinks and classic Filipino beer. There is also a mini coffee machine where one can make cappuccinos and mochas. A stay at the Crimson includes a complimentary breakfast buffet at their Saffron restaurant. I was amazed at the selection the buffet. Not only did they have an abundance of Filipino and Western dishes but there was also a congee and sushi bar. They pastry bar selection ranged from classic Filipino ensaymadas to native Cebu sticky rice. I also was impressed that they had fresh smoothies and juices along with a full coffee bar offering different specialty coffees. This hands down was the best breakfast buffet I experienced during my trip. Equally as impressive is the resort's pool area. Located right next to the beach, it offers breathtaking sunrise views and a serene atmosphere that is perfect for relaxing. One thing worth noting is that the resort rooms are quite far from the main lobby and restaurants, so guests will need to take the resort golf cart service. While walking is an option, it can be a bit of a trek. Thankfully, the golf carts are available 24 hours a day. Overall, I really enjoyed my start at Crimson Resort and Spa. The resort is beautiful, serene and peaceful. It is an ideal escape and perfect spot for a holiday vacation.

My partner and I were on vacation and stayed at Crimson on 4/28/26-5/1/26…read more On 4/29/26, we had breakfast at Saffron, lunch at Azure, and invited 3 of our family members for dinner at Enye since it was Michelin recognized. About 2 hours after dinner, 2 out of 5 of us started exhibiting symptoms of food poisoning (vomiting, diarrhea, and body pains). My partner called in the nurse, Alme, at 3 am and she gave him some medicine to calm the symptoms. The next morning, 4/30, my partner and niece (not staying with us) were still unwell. My partner had to go to the Crimson medical clinic 3 more times before he finally felt a bit better. We went to report the issue to Eshrey, who said she would escalate the issue to management and that was it. Ok, thanks? Now what? We were waiting for someone to follow up with us, but no one did. We didn't want to spend our entire day following up with these people so we let it go until the next day. Friday, 5/1, we went back to the front after breakfast and my partner spoke to someone at Concierge, who said they would follow up on the report. No follow up. Finally, at check out, we spoke with Eshrey again, who had no update on the issue and who made no offer to cover anything for our inconvenience. Ok fine, she's front desk so she can't do anything. We asked for the "manager", Janray, who told us that the case was under investigation (lmao) and that they can't be sure it was Enye's fault because we went island hopping the day before. Mind you, 30 of us went island hopping the day before and only these 2 people got sick after dinner at Enye. Can you please explain to me how this isn't Enye's fault? I understand that consuming raw or undercooked foods can increase risk of foodborne illness - fine. But the fact that the resort completely denied responsibility without even confirming that this was not their fault first, AND didn't cover anything on our behalf due to our inconvenience was incredibly frustrating. We spent so much money at their restaurants and had at least four spa treatments while we were there and they couldn't even pardon part of our dinner or any of the clinic visits we had to make. The resort itself is nice, but it is not worth eating there, getting sick, and wasting a day of vacation without the resort doing anything about it. Unfortunately, because of their terribly awful customer service, we will never come back.

Staff was also average and by that, they didn't really have personal touches to be accommodating enough. Masking was still encouraged but they didn't have any to spare just in case someone needed one at the time. The good part was hanging out at the pool where the water was nice, warm and very clean. I liked that. The restaurant had good authentic popular dishes and some in big portions. By the way, GRAB drivers we're not available here. Taxis are called from the hotel and charge 100.00 pesos. Taxi fare is not included. That's just to call a taxi for me. Fine. No problem. All in all, pictures are always good to look at until you get there. Price tag I heard is pretty pricey for tourists. I won't be returning if you ask me. I tried to enjoy my time here the best I could with a little bit of cocktails and some night swimming.

Feb 23, 2020: Here…read moreis a prime example of horrible service. This is by far the worst line I have ever stood in. We have been here for 3 hours with our baby that is six months old and the front desk is slow, no walkey talkies, communication is nonexistent, and takes about 45 minutes to check in each person. There are 2 areas to check in. There's a new resort and the main resort which is where there is valet, and bellman. There is only 1 manager working in a big resort??!!There should be 2-3 managers at all times. We wanted to cancel and go to plantation bay because we know how they operate. One of the reservations personnel came over to us after 1 hr of trying to cancel. She showed up. She informed us that we cannot cancel because the booking was completed through a third-party. They offered us the penthouse suite and we declined at first because we just wanted our money back for the poor service and inconvenience. The family and I huddled, It would be a logistical nightmare to move all of our belongings back towards the vehicles that were parked very far away and drive over to the other resort. We accepted the upgrade and cooled down. Management finally decided to come to our room and apologized for the horrible service and asked for input on how to better serve the consumer. We told them that their team management lack communication and need to start using walkie-talkies rather than calling each other on cell phones. After we were done giving them our feedback, they offered us free breakfast for the next morning. Mind you, there are eight of us in total. Feb 24, 2020: We got up this morning and went down to have breakfast. They said only four people are allowed to eat for free. We drilled them and all the sudden all eight of us are eating free breakfast like we were supposed to. Room service takes a lifetime to do anything. Housekeeping is very slow and it took four hours to receive to spare beds, along with the 8 extra bath towels we requested. At 12 PM, I got hungry and wanted lunch. I saw four couples eating pizza's together and decided I would get one for my wife and I. when I went to the restaurant to put in the order, the hostess told me there was no more door left for the pizzas. How stupid do you think I am? I went to the manager immediately and told him I want you to go into the restaurant and make them make me a pizza now! Within minutes I had the restaurant supervisor come out and say "Sir, you can choose any pizza you'd like, we will make it right now for you." within 45 minutes, the pizza came. This has literally been the worst customer service, hotel, and all around horrible communication I have ever seen. I am a business owner and take pride in making sure my clients are all taken care of the way they are supposed to. This was a pathetic excuse for a resort. I will never go back to this place, Ever! Go to plantation bay where they were properly take care of you. If I could give a 0 rating for this place, I would! They don't deserve a 1 star review at all!
