Not only did she squeeze me in for eyebrows after my bikini wax (didn't book that service) she gave me great advice re: eyebrow products to help them grow, help shape them, and even applied some color on after and they looked great. We talked fashion, body image stuff, etc and my wax session went by super fast - barely noticed it! 2. The young front desk lady (hadn't met her before) offered me a star sticker saying "do you want a sticker since you're out of this world?" explaining that kids get stickers for going to the dentist and I just went through much worse. Very cute. hey, adults are just grown kids - we all want a gold star!

On the day of my visit Amanda was pleasant and conversational (which was a nice distraction from the waxing!). She was quick and made the process as painless as could be expected for any hair removal. I was in and out in about 7 minutes! I'll be back! Tip: Amanda prefers to have services paid in cash. If a card is all you've got, be prepared for a $1 service charge.

She sees all manner of hoo-ha daily. So...I said the hell with it, flung my pants off, and she went to work. Conversation flowed easily, there was laughter, and before I knew it the hair was gone. Never in my 10+ of getting my brows threaded was I asked "how would you like your brows today?" JS eyebrows always makes sure to ask and to make my brows to my liking. They do a great job! As I waited I looked over the pricing guide and took photos. There were several pricing guides laid out by the register, each with different prices on them, some had the price crossed out with another price hand written. Then, there was a digital pricing guide on the wall, which again had different pricing (the most expensive of them). The employee spoke very little to me and what she did say was in mumbled/broken english. She worked quickly and did not apply any soothing serum on my skin afterwards. When I checked out, the price was higher than expected. I will not be returning.

The chair I sat in during my service was super comfy and I even fell asleep because I was so comfortable lol. I saw Alex for a lash lift/tint + brow wax and I can't recommend her enough! The entire appointment took ~1.5 hours and she came out to get me right on the dot. Alex has a very chill, laid back personality which made it easy for me to sit back and relax during the appointment. You can tell she has great attention to detail and you can trust her to do a wonderful job. I love the way my lashes and brows turned out and she made sure to take my own preferences into account. They also play really great hip hop/r&b/pop music which I enjoyed! Lastly, despite being in downtown, it wasn't hard to find street parking at all. I paid $3.85 at the meter for 2 hours, but there's also a parking garage across the street for $8/hr.

A very unique place. The Babe Cave is located downtown across the street from Nada. I didn't see any signage outside, but they're doors are black with gold handles. You go inside, straight to the elevator, then up to floor 4. I didn't have any issues finding the building or parking; as there are a couple parking garages in the area and also street parking available. Besides lash lifts/tint, they also offer lash extensions, waxing, eyebrow lamination/tint, and teeth whitening:-)
