In terms of the cut, I took a few images for reference of the style I wanted and Krista not only explained how to get the cut, but also told me how to get there realistically and her personal opinion on it. Normally when you go to Barbers, you tell them what you want and they just give it to you. But here, it was a perfect balance of what I want and what would look good.
