This private island was the second stop on our island hopping excursion from Alona Beach, Panglao, Bohol. We had to pay an environmental fee of 100 pesos each before we could disembark. It is often visited due to its sandbars, but there's also a bronze statue of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina Capuccino and an extended area to view for an additional "donation." Unfortunately I ran out of pesos, so I didn't get to visit that area. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time on the sandbar. The weather was beautiful and walking on the sandbar was very cool. We were standing in the middle of the ocean! Safe travels!!

Rooms are clean and in this tropical weather, are air-conditioned. This hotel has a nice pool, a restaurant where they serve free breakfast, and also a limited menu which I have tried and found it delicious. Staff is so friendly and are willing to cater to your wishes. They can also book tours to see the Tarsier habitat, the man-made forest, the Chocolate Hills, or other activities you might want to do. This island is full of tourists, both local and international because of a lot of water activities like island hopping, snorkeling, scuba diving, or just swimming or lazing around. During my stay, renovations to improve the place were ongoing. Should you wish to travel to this beautiful island, I recommend you stay here. The price is so reasonable and I highly recommend this place.

The options are vast, going from Boljoon to Oslob. The excursion is in Oslob, but found that this resort was adults only so I took a chance. The resort was absolutely amazing. The check-in, service, room, and adventure options were all superb. They offered many excursion which we took advantage of. We enjoyed a day of whale sharks and Tumalog falls with its magical white water. The pool is simple with a full bar and an expertly crafted food menu that should please most. They even helped coordinate all of our travel for ease of the trip. Between all the resorts we stayed this was by far the best. I would highly recommend this resort, if you're looking to go south of Cebu for whale sharks, and looking for a little Rest and relaxation before and after. The only gripe was that they had no hot water during our visit. This was nothing unusual considering 4 of 5 of our resorts didn't have hot water. Luckily the cold water isn't that cold.

Alona beach is not characterized as a cheap place in Panglao Island, besides havien a paradise…read morebeach, but already highly urbanized, it is also a springboard to get to various places for diving and snorkeling. The Hotel is poorly connected to the beach. You have to go a poorly maintained road that takes you to a field full of garbage, where bridging the gap through a staircase, you reach the back of another hotel which communicates with beach. As for the infrastructure of the hotel, this has a pool and a very small green area. The Bar/restaurant, poolside, serves no meals and breakfast which is not included in the price, I found it expensive and scarce. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful, but you would always expect from a hotel. As for the room, it is spacious with a medium sized bathroom

One of the most beautiful places we visited back in Cebu was Tumalog falls!…read more I was so happy to see that at least this place has remained beautiful, clean and free from stores that people tend to put up such as in Kawasan falls (which is so unfortunate). I have been here before but this recent visit made me appreciate this place even more. Im glad the town has been taking good care of it. The waters are clean and so refreshing. There are cottages still for rent but that too has also been keep fairly clean. When you arrive it is best to take the habal-habal (two passenger motor ride) to and from the fall. You can walk if you want but be warned it is an uphill walk back and can be tiring especially with the hot Cebu weather. We also recommend wearing slippers or water shoes/sandals if you want to get your feet wet. There are stones and rocks of course in the waters so walking barefoot can hurt. Not really a suitable place for older visitors; at least not to climb closer to the falls for safety. Otherwise a must see spot in Cebu! My family enjoyed it here as much as I did. It was indeed a wonderful experience for all.

When I went I spotted snakes, sugar gliders, bunnies, horses and butterflies. There is a butterfly sanctuary area that seemed to be the most popular attraction when I visited. You walk thru a garden where there are several different butterflies among different flowering plants. Aside from walking thru the butterfly sanctuary, there's various activities one can partake in. I spotted an archery range, a horse riding area as well as snake and sugar glider petting/holding area. There's several photo opportunities here. There's a spot to take a photo where it looks like you're holding a butterfly. There's even an interesting photo stand with a giant large tiolet. Eccentric and unique would be best to describe some of the photo stands and spots. Bohol Enchanted entry fee is 150 Philippine Pesos ($2.50). They also have an optional lunch buffet for an additional 350 Philippine pesos ($5.98). Overall it was a good little spot to visit. Seeing the butterflies here was the best part for me.

On the other side of the river where the boats for the Loboc River Cruise and floating restaurant…read moredock, is a secret gem of an experience awaiting discovery. Situated among the Fox & The Firefly Cottages is this SUP tour company. It's the perfect alternative to getting out on the Loboc River water and without the annoying entertainment presented on board the floating restaurant boats. The most popular tour is the 1 Hour SUP Tour for P800/ person. Other options (which are longer) include waterfall, full-day, and firefly + full moon tours and even a SUP yoga class. We were assigned a guide named Niño whose nickname I kept forgetting. Our tour began with a paddle lesson detailing the construction of the board and proper paddling technique. Then we were out on the water! The tour was detailed as beginner friendly, but I don't think the instructor was prepared for in-depth teaching for my friend, haha. In any case, we were able to paddle down the river some while he detailed the natural fauna and flora of the area. We were assured, that there were no paraná or anaconda in these waters! The water was incredibly serene and the environment so calming as a gentle breeze coaxed us along the river. Our tour guide was funny and personable; we did end up singing our own version of karaoke, what we might have experience on board the floating restaurant except ours was better since our guide could SING! At the end, he encouraged us to swing into the water and even brought us freshly chopped coconut with juice inside. We lounged around a bit at the swinging chairs near where we launched. Had we not already planned to visit the Chocolate Hills (50 minutes away), we might have ended up staying there and napping! I'm glad we opted for a more active experience along the Loboc River, one that ended up being so much more peaceful and that much more memorable.

Everyone has the same photos because they place the tarsiers in the same spots. It's crowded on the VERY SHORT path. It's supposed to be silent because noise easily stresses out the tarsiers, but no one is really enforcing it and there are noisy tourists who are so disrespectful with their noise and cameras. There are no guides, and it was a disappointing experience. I'm just relieved they do not allow anyone to handle the tarsiers. There's a store full of crap souvenirs at the exit. This place is a terrible waste of your time and I regret supporting it with my tourist dollars.
