T.M I just wanted to add to your comments how I went…read morethrough the same issue with this business cancelling my first appointment with them and no one called to tell us. Their claim was that I didn't fill out the paperwork online, so they just went ahead and canceled our appointment. My husband took off from work to take my child to the appointment and their excuse was the same as yours. So, I thought I was wrong. Now if you read my first review ( by the way this is my second replying to yours), you will see how terrible this business is. First, their administrative assistant or whom ever she is or was, took my credit card and kept charging me without checking with my insurance. I called my insurance and they told me that I only have to pay $35 for copay. She was charging me $130.95 per visit, so when I called my insurance and added the admn to the call, she kept arguing with the insurance agent and her excuse she did send a claim and it was the insurance fault. This woman had no clue how to run a business because my insurance told her to submit a claim and apparently she didn't know how to do it and that's why she charged me the full price as if I didn't have insurance. Now, to get my money back is another story. She charged me $130.95 twice and $70. My insurance told her that I only need to pay $70. So when I asked her to refund me the $261. She couldn't do the math and refunded me $95.00 x2. I have no clue how she rid her math. This is charging me $70 twice. But I couldn't convince her that she's wrong and she told me that she worked for a bank, the same bank I use. I went to my bank thinking that I WAS WRONG AND MAYBE I COULDN'T DO MATH....lol. so my bank agent insisted that I need her to refund me $70 back if she's only giving me 2 refunds of $95. I went back taking the chance that I maybe arrested or something like that because the first time I was there, she called security even though she was the one yelling g and screaming in my face to count my math and look at the statement she emailed me. This women was bold and vulgar in the way she was conducting herself. So, when I went back, she was already gone and couldn't fi d her to explain to her what my bank said. The lady at the desk give me the owner's info because the admin wouldn't give it to when I asked to speak to someone else that can understand math better than her.....I'm a teacher and have a strong background in math. But that's not the case because this was simple math. Anyway, I finally got the email address of the owner. Those owner was not a business person that knows how to handle his customers. I believe he's in this just make money in any shape or form. I had lingering emails with him that went no where. I didn't get my $70 yet because he first offered to send me a check and I agreed, but when I made the comment about my credit card was charged multiple times, it generates interest. So he went ahead to tell me that he will throw an additional $30 for the interest and I believe his way of apologizing. I accepted the check and told him I was not looking for charity but only my money, so he insisted. The final straw was that. But then he tells me that I have put a fraud claim through my bank which I did and he wanted me to cancel it. My response to him was, after I get the check I will cancel the fraud. I believe that if he did send the check, things would have been fine, but he turns around and tells me to go ahead and choose which way, i was done with this long lingering issue with this business and deal with my bank. To this time, I still don't have my money back because my bank is doing an investigation and they are dealing with people that probably don't know how to reverse a payment and that's what started from the get go!!!!!!!!!! To keep it's only $70 but gguess what, KARMA is....you know what!!!! $70 can't make ANYONE rich....I'm ok as I told the owner in an email " I'm easy to work with". Sometimes I spend $70 on things I don't even count, but for this bbusiness, they will pay more than that and I do know for fact, they will. I'm from Morocco and lived in the USA for a while and I have never been treated like this in my life. It's a shame and I believe in good dedeeds. So, it's not much but your reputation will suffer!!!! A friend of mine guided me to Skin Renaissance after she had to deal with my barrage of skin complaints. I'm not getting any younger and being a mom now leaves little time for self care, which is required now more than it used to be. My sweet friend kindly gifted me some credit to use and I stopped in last week. I had initially been considering botox, but thought it best to get an expert's opinion. I made an appointment with their NP, Suzanne. I arrived a little early to check in and complete forms. After completing paperwork, I was invited to get a beverage or snack while I waited. They offer hand sanitizer in many locations and everyone wore a mask through my entire visit. They took me back right at my appointment time - also appreciated. My first stop was the Visia skin analysis room where Suzanne and I chatted about my concerns and skin history - I spent most of my teen years in a tanning bed and have a lengthy history of melanoma and BCC, some of which have been removed from my face. The Visia was insightful and allowed Suzanne to make recommendations based on underlying damage and redness (thanks, genetics!). I learned that botox was the last thing I needed, go figure! She offered some really good recommendations, starting with a compound topical which is already providing results in under a week! She also consulted with Julie, the owner, who made the same recommendations. All together, they spent nearly an hour evaluating and chatting with me - it didn't cost me a dime - but it certainly put me at ease to seek future care with them. I am due to return for a follow up and continue treatment and am super happy to go back. I'm already grateful to Suzanne for helping me to feel better about my skin in such a short period of time.
