I've never done a review before, so that should tell someone to beware!! I bought a condo and the windows still had a warranty left on them. I called the company got a lot of run around from the lady, then I finally called the owner and he went off on me like a crazy person. He doesn't even know who I am he's never met me. He told me the guy had been to my condo a couple of times, and I tried to tell him he never came. I think he had me mixed up with somebody else that lives in this complex. Anyway, after I offered to pay him, he said he would send someone out the next day of course he did not. This company is nothing but a bunch of a holes. I Will be calling the Better Business Bureau to let them know how awful this company is. I was in business for over 40 years. This is not the way you treat a customer. DO NOT USE HIM!!! Bill talks a good talk but he doesn't deliver. He guaranteed my wife and I that his product would meet all our expectations. He verbally guarantees his product! Once he gets paid you won't see him again. We called numerous times trying to get our sliders fixed. Nothing My sliders leak water and the wind will move my blinds. I live in the ocean, when I spray the sliders down, the water leaks in from the top and bottom. The product is low quality. Also the sliders were not installed properly. My windows are difficult to unlock and the the don't slide up evenly. Don't be fooled by the price and his sincere sales pitch. Beach Windows & Doors installed my sliding glass doors 6 years ago. One door now is jammed. The company offered us a 10 year warranty at contract signing. I have been calling since May about this issue. William the owner, has promised he will send someone out there and never does. Always comes up with one excuse or another but he never calls back to schedule. This is just my bad experience now. However, when we initially contracted this Company, they were very motivated to get the business and were very communicative and attentive. However, after I put 1/2 down as a deposit, they stopped returning my calls and were extremely poor communicators to schedule the actual install. Every time I would call the number, it's an answering service and Beach Windows and Beach Windows did not call back. They had me in suspense and concerned, especially since I had deposited a significant amount. I had to do strong investigative measures to get the owner's personal cellular. After that it was nothing but hounding him directly. If you are thinking about hiring this Company, you should think twice. Awful Customer Service and terrible communication from the owner himself. The star is for very nice windows that work. The four missing stars are for the (1) lack of permit (2) incomplete finishing inside (one window that required new drywall was simply caulked) (3) poor communication (ignored both telephone calls and emails), no receipt, and of course, no permit/inspection (4) original order not to my specification, took four visits to complete six windows over the period of a year (5) scratches on window frames and (6) trampled plants. I will spare y'all the detailed point-by-point drama and just say that my experience was very difficult. I have done business on a hand-shake with good results in the past. Never again. I think a successful business transaction could be achieved by a homeowner who had a high level of education about working with contractors -- knowing the need for a building permit and prohibiting work starting without one, insisting on reviewing the actual factory order, rather than taking the charming owner's word for it, carefully checking product BEFORE installation begins, providing a very limited deposit, and insisting that all work be completed and inspected before delivering final payment. read more

Bill is a great "old school" guy. We shopped around and he has the lowest prices. The quality of the install was very good, and the windows of course are hurricane rated so no worries there...passed city inspection right away. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is it took a bit longer than we thought. Bill said it was because the manufacturer delays over the holiday period, but I think that should be taken into account when an estimate is given. That said, once he had the windows he did jump onto the job right away. read more

This business deserves no rating. He was a no show again today. Stay away,! He's a liar. Has an excuse for everything. He will treat you like you're his only customer, tell you he will address any problems you might have but once he has a check in his hand. He disappears. My initial review tells it all. He showed up with an "employee " spent 10 minutes here, then promised us he would take care of the concrete crusted glass and the dent in the other frame. Then he had the nerve to ask me to change my review. I said when the work is completed properly, I would. He also told me he would install the screens when I was ready. The guy and his business are completely untrustworthy. I also asked him to call for inspection. Not done. Do yourself a favor and research before you hire. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! Bill, the owner, will promise you the moon for a reasonable price, but then it will take FOREVER to get the order and it will probably be incomplete and poorly installed. We have given them chance after chance and waited endlessly for them to make good on their product and their promises, but to no avail. If by chance you get your product, the installation is inferior and incomplete. Save yourself a lot of headaches and pay a little more to have the job done done right. read more

Beach Windows came out and installed Lawson impact windows and doors at my Merritt Island home. Bill sent his best crew and even though it was a big job with housewide windows and sliders, the job was completed in less than a week including the stucco finish work on the exterior. This makes my third impact windows and doors project with Bill and the results are beautiful. Renovation is stressful and deadlines are affected by rain for some of the trades. Work can't happen when it rains all day. But, after the wait, and a few delays, my windows are tight and right and a significant improvement to my property value. read more

I had a very bad experience with Beach Windows and Doors. Firstly, I waited about 3 months for the sliding doors for my lania to arrive. OK; I can live with that, not a big deal. However, after the work was finally scheduled, they did a horrible job. The windows did not properly fit, so they drilled into my tile on my lanai to make them fit!! ! (without consulting me)..... and they broke my tile. Secondly, after paying them they abandoned the job, did not paint the final wall between the window and my screen, which I cannot reach. It can only be reached by releasing the door with a specialized tool, which I don't have. He also promised to fix the tile. About a week later I also notice that where the two doors meet, the handles are now offset by 3/4 inch. I called him numerous times, he keeps on telling me he'll come by to finish the paint, repair the tiles and fix the handle but it has been months and no response. I think he took the money and ran DO NOT USE ! Warning. read more

Tried reaching William Mahler every week - calls always go to the answering service - I've left 3 messages in the past two weeks - no return call. Other neighbors who used him in The Diplomat, Cocoa Beach, seem to be having the same problem. My neighbor is old and I have been calling on her behalf - I took pictures of the window they put in and all the caulking fell off and we found some of her paper towels had been stuffed in the gap. I have taken many pictures of the installation problems and the cracked window that the installer did with his drill. Not only that, the installer (who had just come out of hospital and appeared to be sick) was supposed to come back (another promise from Mr. Mahler) and fix the problem - she waited almost 3 months - and then asked me to help. This company is a disaster! Save your money and time and DON"T use them. We ordered ouR windows, and paid more than half of the cost, because we live out of town and wanted to secure our spot for installation. We were promised our days for the installation, when we returned to Cocoa Beach, to find that we were not on the schedule. So we called and complained, and were told that that wasn't the conversation we heard, but the owner would try and get someone over. They showed up, nothing to cover our furniture, broken glass was everywhere. It was a mess. The owner went to a concert that weekend and never came over to the job, except to pick up his check. We never got the job finished and the rain in the last few days, came through the top of two of the windows and causeD water damage on the floors and walls. We have called for two days and NO ONE CALLS BACK! read more
