I tried calling a week in advance to get an appointment and no one responded so I decided to fill out their online forms for an appointment and again no response, I finally decided to go in and see if they could fit me in for an oil change that same day and they told me I needed an appointment (even though I had been trying to get one and at their fault wasn't able to) since I really needed the service I compromised with the next appointment they had which was two days later than I originally needed it. I tried not to let their poor booking skills discourage me as I had read great reviews on this place but when I came in the employees were extremely lacking in customer service, because I don't know a lot about cars and it was my first time getting a service I had a couple of questions, the guy who worked on my car was very short with me and made me feel like I was annoying him I didn't even want to ask him anymore questions because of his demeaning tone and lack of respect. When getting a necessary service done to something so essential as your car you want someone who you can trust with any questions, problems, or doubts and this isn't the place for that. read more

These guys were awesome! I had a pretty specific job I needed done on a truck with long travel suspension. Brenden didn't give me any run arounds and was really straight forward about what he had to do as I had a much more complicated job than a normal alignment. This is the place to go for a smog check. THE PRICE WAS THE BEST, I had a coupon for $20.99 and the certificate was $8.25, so out the door was $29.24. He was the cheapest in town, and it only took him 10 minutes. This gentleman is very friendly, and I feel is a honest person, and will not try to get you to pay for things you don't really need. This will now be the place I take all my cars for a smog test (I have 6 cars to smog) after going to another shop, that will remain nameless, that I had went to for 5-6 years. I would Zero stars if I could. This place is not only shady but also has terrible mechanics. I brought in a used car I just purchased to get my alignment done. I waited about an hour before they finally looked at my car and instantly came out and said I needed new suspension on my car. I am not an auto mechanic by any means but I am pretty knowledgeable the basics of the mechanical operation of a vehicle. I asked them what is wrong with the suspension. I'm assuming the main mechanic start telling me that based on the mileage of the car the suspension is not in the best of shape and the car would run and handle better with new suspension. Other than the car pulling to the right it seemed to drive pretty good. I figured what the heck! Let's see how much it would cost. He goes into the shop area and must think I'm either a big dummy or made out of money with my 07 Honda Civic, he comes back and tells me it'll cost me 1500 dollars to replace the suspension on my car!! I say no I'm good on that, I'll just do the alignment, he than cautions me that if I only do the alignment it might get messed up again shortly because of the suspension. I say the car cost me 3000, I'm good on that. Well it takes them maybe 30 minutes to do the alignment. Once it was finished he informed me that the car is perfectly aligned but my right front side tire is faster than the others so it's going to pull to the right and suggested I buy new tires for perfect alignment. So the next week I purchased some good quality Continental PureContact tires. Beautiful tires! Made the car feel so much better on the road BUT!! THE CAR STILL PULLED TO THE RIGHT!!! I am currently sitting in les schwab tires in Temecula getting ANOTHER alignment done. They checked out my suspension and said my front end is good to go, no issues at all. The rear end suspension was leaking, which they said does not really HAVE to be replaced just yet because the car drives and handles good still. They gave me a quote for 250!!!!!! 250!?!???!!!! 1300 less than Bear!! I said YES SIR!!! LETS DO IT!!! Les Schwab is def the place to go for all alignments and all your car services needs!! The gentlemen there also don't look like they just served a few years in prison. Very professional and even have a shuttle service!!!! read more

I purchased a Groupon for Bear Alignment for an oil change at a reasonable price. I don't like to taking my car to get an oil change as I always feel like they try to get me to have extra stuff done. I was very pleased with their service and professionalism. They checked my cars fluids, brakes etc..... They showed me what I needed done. What I liked is that I didn't feel pressured to do what they recommended. They had a sign outside with my name welcoming me. I thought that was a nice touch. I went to Bear Alignment and Brakes to have my oil changed on a deal from Groupon. I choose them because they are a local family owned business. They did not disappoint. From my first contact with Emily when I called to make an appointment to the interactions with not only myself but other customers with the owner TJ and the mechanic Brandon who serviced my vehicle. They were polite, friendly and the shop was clean with water and coffee for the customers who were waiting. I thought I recognized their logo when I overheard TJ telling another customer he has been doing this since he was a kid. He pointed to a picture on the wall and said that is the pit in my dad's shop the original shop in Corona. I can remember driving by it as a kid. Last February America's Tire sent my son to Bear Alignment to repair damage to a wheel that they had caused. While there Bear Alignment recommended replacement of a drive shaft bearing that they said was worn. I agreed to the repair. Four months later, while vacationing on the east coast, my son calls me to say that his ruck is not driveable and he needs to take it in to a shop. He was in San Diego, so I advised him of a shop to take it to. The next day the repair shop advised that the drive shaft needed to be replaced as the support bearing had failed due to being installed incorrectly. The repair had to be done quickly as my son needed his truck to get to work. I advised the shop to go ahead with the repair. I approached Bear Alignment in Murietta about the problem when I returned from the east coast and they asked me to have the truck brought in and they would fix it. Unfortunately, I had to tell them that the truck was in a San Diego county shop and repairs were almost complete. They reluctantly agreed to submit a warranty request if I would bring them the failed bearing. Sadly, the bearing had been lost in the repair shuffle at a drive line shop that had to fabricate a new driveshaft for the truck in order to fix it. I was told that without the part there was no warranty to submit. Now I'm out over $900 to fix a problem created by Bear Alignment. Customers beware. Bear Alignment's support for you doesn't go very far when they have made a big mistake. They won't take responsibility for their errors. read more

I've had my older Corolla with over 200,000 miles into the shop a couple different times for brakes. I had to bring it back because the old calipers on this car pretty much heated up the brand new rotors and ruined the new brake job, which they replaced under warranty, only charging me for the calipers. I trusted them so much that I sent my daughter in there with the car, because she is the one that drives it primarily, and they really took care of her. These guys are top notch, they don't bullshit you. I really appreciate their attention to detail and their honesty.I recommend these guys to anyone. read more

Okay..I have been to alot of mechanics in my day. This place is awsome. First they give me a killer price for the brakes, tie rods, and wheel bearings. Then I call the next day to schedule ( I needed approval from my main office) and they said bring it over and it will be ready by 2:00. They had the sweetest person drive me home. Then the most amazing thing happened, my car was ready before 2:00. They picked me up and I recieved my truck ready to go. They really were honest, courteous and friendly people. I have gone twice now to get my oil changed at Bear Alignment and Brake, and I foresee myself only using this business for all future service. This business really knows how to take care of their customers and make their visits memorable. I went to the shop the first time, because their prices are so much better than anywhere else around. The customer service was good and the wait pleasant, as they have a big TV that shows movies while customers wait. The second time I went back, their prices were still way better than the competition and their customer service was still fantastic, but I noticed other small things that made a big difference--free Wifi and beverages for customers while they wait and a small bag of candy with a thank you note that was in my car when I left. I also received a thank you note in the mail later, thanking me for my business. I can't imagine that any other service shop in the area treats their customers as well as Bear Alignment and Brake, and they have certainly earned my business for many years to come. read more

They only got one star because I had to give them something to make this post!! I took my truck to Bear auto for an alignment and tire rotation my truck had been pulling to the right I was told they aligned my truck but could not fix it from pulling to the right I would need a caster washer (something I've never heard of) I have had many lifted trucks but they had no idea what's available for this truck so after $129 later I drove off with my truck still pulling to the right not sure what I paid for the next day was missing a center Cap on my front left wheel checked the other ones and 2 others were cracked I notified them Of this and text them pictures only for him to tell me there is no reason for them to touch those and let him know they were not cracked before and then they quit texting me back I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! The next week took my truck to precision alignment they were able to tell me what I needed to fix my truck before they looked at it Turns out I needed a caster sleeve (Which I have heard of) they put my truck on a rack came in and showed me the printout told me what they were going to fix then when they were done showed me the new print out 45 minutes later my truck drives straight down the road I was ripped off for $129 at Bear alignment read more

I was a regular at this place with the previous owner (shawn, good guy). I was a little disheartened when I saw he sold the business, but the new guy was fantastic. My experience with sears auto center: I original took my car over to the sears just for an oil and tire change (car was working fine with 0 issues before this). They told me my struts were shot and my oil head casket case was leaking oil. They charged me an extra $400 (making total of $776). Then they called me back again and said the cb boot was leaking grease and my radiator fan wasn't going on because the sensor was broken. They wanted to charge me another $600. I said just put my car back together and I'll take it out. After driving about a mile I noticed white smoke from the hood. We (me, my uncle and cousin) found multiple issues. There was no oil on the dipswitch and the coolant hose was unplugged from the radiator. I had it towed back and asked them to put oil in it (they denied there not being any oil in it and said there was oil in it). When I got back to check they did put oil in it this time, but now the motor and radiator was overheating. My experience with the new guy (Jay) from world wide autoworks: I took the car to the Jay as is, and he figured out when the hose was unplugged it sucked in a bunch of air and created air pockets which was causing the problem of overheating. He did a radiator coolant flush and vacuumed the air out before refilling the radiator. I've never had a problem since with the car and the radiator fan sensor is working just fine. He didn't even charge me for the diagnostic fee. It's hard to find really nice and honest mechanics, but I can assure you this is definitely one of those few. read more
