In my experience with BCCC- going here for about 2 months- I've had a pretty amazing experience. From my first time attending Church to small group settings within the Church- I've had nothing but warm, welcoming embraces from everyone here. It is so easy to get involved & dig deeper in your faith. For me I wanted to attend Church but also learn more in scripture about His word. It was so easy to find groups that took things step by step to go through passages & help my understanding. The genuine connection, Bible believing groups of each person i met has changed my life. They gave me resources and a community that gathered around me to support me on my journey. There is truly a niche here for everyone. Whether you want to join in acts of service, a welcoming committee, and groups within- the Church truly supports you on your faith walk with Christ. So thankful I found BCCC. read more

I've grown-up in the church. Attended multiple churches throughout my life as I have moved and lived in new locations. My background is southern and North American Baptist. Going to a non-denominational church felt risky. The way the church is able to balance word and spirit has challenged me in new ways. I look forward to Sunday mornings to see my Church family. In the fall of 2019 my husband and I attended a service at Bear Creek Community Church for the first time. We were greeted with smiling faces and people waving from the time we entered the driveway and immediately felt welcome. During worship I was brought to tears from the overwhelming presence of God that I felt. The message that Pastor Paul delivered that day was awesome and was direct from the Bible. My husband and I decided this would be our new church. Bear Creek has many small groups that include different Bible studies to fun game nights that you can join that help you grow in your faith and fellowship with new people. The Next Gen youth programs are great for families with children and inspire the next generation to Love God, Live For God, and Lead Others To God. One of my favorite things about Bear Creek is that it's ok not to be ok. You're welcome here, no matter where you're at on your faith journey! read more

I've been attending weekly and on Wednesday nights for over a year. This is the most genuine church I've been in. They are led by the Word of God and sensitive to the call of the Holy Spirit. As a believer with a Baptist background, this church is a bit outside my comfort zone but I have grown in my faith and trust that God can do anything. I love that praising God, praying, and waiting are key decision makers in the church is incredible. All the pastors are passionate and unique in their style of teaching. I have been at Bear Creek church for almost 2 years now. We went a couple of times in the past and it just wasn't the right church for us. But when we tried it again, two years ago, so much had changed for the better. My husband and I decided it would be our church home. We've made great friends that we spend time with outside of Sundays. They have lots of groups where you can grow in your faith, community, and your friendships. Bear Creek teaches out of the Bible every week. The church is full of authentic people who are pretending to be perfect. In fact, they say it's OK to not be OK. They just don't want you to stay that way. read more

This is a great church. Nobody's perfect, so don't expect it here, but it is full of good people. I've been coming here for about 5 years now, and have no plans to change. People are friendly, and everybody is welcome. Easily the most diverse congregation and staff that I've attended with in California, which makes me feel right at home as a Black/White mixed man. They do real life and get in your business, as a church should in my opinion, but if that is not your opinion then be warned. The old pastor Bill Cummins was phenomenal. He seemed genuine and very caring. I haven't been to the church in ages, nor have I heard a sermon from the new pastor Paul Earwood. I get his voice messages though. They don't sound heartfelt. Don't know what it is but something seems off about the guy. His messages come across as cold, canned and robotic. 'Very similar to the scam calls from fake pastors offering to pray for you in return for a " donation" ll give a 3 rating to be fair. read more

I tried out this church twice and both times all three pastors stopped worship to tell the crowd how disappointed they were that we weren't singing loud enough. One actually interrupted the other to go on a 10 minute rant about how people who complained that worship was too long were not "Christians", using air quotes. People cried. It was awful. read more

My husband and I were new to the area without family and in need of community. We knew finding a home church was what we needed to help us get settled in a new town. We found Bear Creek and instantly knew it was home. We have truly found our church family and couldn't be more grateful. The church leadership truly cares about their people, following the Spirit's lead, and teaching straight from the Bible. Their midweek service is an incredible call to prayer and testimony to how God answers prayer. Bear Creek has something to offer for every age and stage of life. They have incredible community groups to help you connect outside of Sunday services. Their youth pastor is doing an amazing job leading the next generation and building a great program for families with children. Lastly, one of my favorite things about Bear Creek is the diversity of their congregation. You will meet people of every age, race, and life experience. Bigger question, is why the congregation stood there aqnd just let him spew hate and political opinions (his own)? Religion is not the place to share hatred, intolerance and political opinion. What a great vibe. Congregation varied from shorts and flip-flops to leather chaps to "Sunday best's". Worship was so lively which made it easy to sing and clap along to. The preaching lacked connection for me but the pastor seems very nice. Service was about 90min. There are several day care options and a teen center. And get this, snacks. They have a wide variety of snacks ready after service. read more

Daryl Black best worship leader I have experienced in 40 years and preaches a tremendous message..Bobby Spencer is third in triumvirate of wonderful message givers. We just love Bear Creek Community Church. Our Family have been members for about 15 years and we are maturing and growing through Jesus Christ everyday. I love all the activities, all year long, where's there's something for everyone and every age. I have made so many friends trough the years, that I can truly call them my church family. I love to volunteer and be involved in a active church like this one, & I wouln't have it any other way. We have Kids in Christ classes for all ages including infant care, run by our amazing volunteers who have a gift of giving and bonding with children. We are a family friendly and welcoming church and celebrating our 25th year of church service. We also have and abundance of amazing ministries local and global. My husband and I have been looking for a good family church, with good children's programs. The first thing i can say is it is LOUD. I like worship as much as everyone else, but this is ear splitting loud. We should have known, when they have a big EAR PLUG DISPENSER in their lobby. We ended up leaving the service. We thought maybe it was just that Sunday, so we tried again the next week. It was worse. We just sat in the lobby this time, but decided to leave. It's a shame because our kids enjoyed the children's program. read more

For the person that posted the other review. Maybe because our country is being ran by people that don't care about Jesus/God/or the Bible? It is sad and scary. I LOVE this church. The preacher is great and it is very welcoming to outsiders. If he says something you don't want to hear maybe you should listen because it is RIGHT according to the bible. read more

When it's not football season, this church is my favorite thing to do Sunday mornings.

This is a wonderful church. I drive 40 minutes each way just to attend. The service is taught form the Bible. The people are caring, and welcoming. The children and youth ministry is awesome. read more
