Had some outlets go bad in a house we just moved into. Sent a request for quote and service and the response from Sam was extremely quick. He came out on Sunday which was also Father's day, which was nice since most people would be off, and checked out the outlets in my loft. While looking at the breaker panel he also pointed out wiring that was overloading the breakers and replaced them. I was impressed by the professionalism and speed of the repair and replacement of everything and happy to know that everything that we had concerns about were fixed. He discovered a live neutral and also how each outlet was not wired correctly (which were all repwlced and fixed). He even pointed out the poor job the electricians and/or handyman did for the builders when the house was built which I agreed on since I've also seen the correct way the wires should be wired and attached to each outlet. He definitely knows his stuff and I was impressed with the work he did and how he did it. At the end of the day, reasonable prices for quality work and knowledge of everything electrical. Never skip out on quality work to save an extra dollar. Quality work and peace of mind is much more important IMHO. Do it right the first time so you don't have to ever do it again. Just an update for Bear Electric. The owner did call me during the holidays to apologize and offered to refund me some of my money back. I appreciated that, and declined his offer. It was my fault for not questioning his rates after he didn't do the work he said he had to. I'm adding one star since he did apologize, but consumers still need to be careful with them not doing what they agreed to, but still charging like they did do the whole job. read more
