This review is not meant to endorse or critique a place of worship or services. I visited the auditorium for a concert on Friday. The lobby was small, but still nice with decorations. I didn't see any concession stands, so we ate somewhere else before the event. When we got to our seats, we noticed that our tickets weren't checked, even at the entrance. We sat in our assigned seats anyways, which was at the balcony. The seat was a typical arena style seat, but it was comfortable enough. The AC inside was cold and perfect. Looks like the venue is able to hold about 2000 guests. We had no issues viewing the orchestra and the monitors there. The bathrooms in the balcony area was small and only accommodated a couple people at a time, so there was a little wait. Though, it was pretty clean. Other than the security screening, we didn't see much staff at the venue. Wasn't sure whether the screening was common at the venue, or requested by the concert people, but the security staff were mostly polite and professional. They did however, leave immediately after the show. There was staff to help with parking and heading to the venue, but that was it. Parking was free and ample, so it was a plus compared to other venues. For a concert, I would visit the venue again. However, I would be aware of the lack of concessions inside, security screening requirements to enter, and not much staff indoors. But the free parking, comfortable seating, and great AC makes this a nice choice.

We researched which Baptist Church to attend today by searching on the Greater Orlando Baptist Association website GOBA.ORG (http://northparkbaptist.org) and found several churches associated with the organization in town and decided after prayer and study to visit North Park today. We were in fact greeted by friendly people that showed us where their Children's ministry was located then lead us to their main hall, gave us brochures and walked with us up the stairs, so you will feel very welcomed when visiting this Church. Our son was all to excited to go to his class, and the ladies were friendly and very approachable to him. He rushed straight to the tic-tac-toe game already in progress. The other children were also building with blocks and playing games. We felt such peace with his care, thank you Kristin and Lynn. They offer a contemporary selection of worship music with a small but well equipped and talented group of musicians and the music is not too loud which was very nice. There is a time for greetings after worship followed by the message delivered by Pastor Josh Malone. He reads directly from The Bible, verses are highlighted on two screens to the left and right of the stage, and the bulletin allows for note taking on the back. They have a Growth Track which is clearly highlighted on the bulletin in a handy tear away section at the bottom where you can carry with you and check off as you attend the 4 classes listed on this path. The message today was true to The Bible, and we felt the presence of the Holy Spirit even before Pastor began his message as the worship music was very inspiring. The main sanctuary has a screen that comes down after the worship service for the main sermon to be simulcast from the Curry Ford location. They do baptisms at this location as well. Low and behold January 7th we stepped into Celebration and never looked back. I mean come on with a belief system of: We are all about Jesus. We are welcoming. We are authentic. We are diverse. We are intentional. We are faith-filled. We are participators. We are generous. We are others-focused​. Where can you possibly go wrong? Anywho onto the main points. Currently,​ the church is meeting at two locations of Howard Middle in downtown and Edgewater High in College Park. The vision is to be good financial stewards and raise enough capital for a permanent location. Get ready to be seriously welcomed at our church from the parking lot all the way to when you leave. Let's​ talk about​ safety. Children's​ ministry has a police officer always on duty at the entrance along with two other officers and tons of security from all backgrounds of life spread randomly throughout the church. Doors are locked at all times and check-in and check-out procedures for children are tight-knit with identification badges out before you can even go in the direction of children's​ ministry. Don't​ have little ones? No biggie there is Sub 30 available for young adults and RIOT. RIOT is a place where middle and high school teens can hear a message geared specifically for their audience. More importantly,​ they can meet during the week for groups​ intentionally​ designed with them top of mind. You can tell when a message is truth when you're​ turning the pages of your bible or looking at the verse available on the projector often. Come prepared to read from the bible and unpack it with our pastors, the Phillips. Don't​ forget to get your weekly dose with community groups. Celebration​ understands we shouldn't do life alone and we have nailed down all sorts of groups from coffee to fitness, and even brunching on how we can spread the word of God.
