He is reliable, punctual, and courteous, and he does great work, often going well above and beyond to exceed our expectations. We're like you; we scoured Yelp for the best reviews before reaching out to multiple landscapers. We had a hard time finding someone who would (a) respond, (b) show up at the agreed time to provide an estimate, and (c) show up at the agreed time to do the work. We actually hired a different landscaper, who didn't show up to do the work after multiple reschedules. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we hired Carlos. If he doesn't respond to your message right away, give him a little time -- he's probably out working! We initially hired Carlos for a one-time project that included cleaning and re-mulching plant beds, weed removal, and trimming dozens of monstrously overgrown rose bushes and other plants. His estimate was reasonable and he arrived on time for each visit. He and his crew did a great job and totally transformed our yard. Based on the good experience with the one-time project, we hired Carlos for biweekly service. He has reliably shown up every time for the past six months, and continues to do great work. We just asked for basic maintenance like grass trimming and leaf blowing, but he has consistently gone above and beyond to maintain the work he did with the one-time project, which we didn't expect, and continues to blow us away with the scope and quality of his work. We have also asked him to do smaller projects, like replacing broken sprinkler heads, which he has done promptly, cheerfully, and at a very reasonable cost. On what my husband said to them - My husband told me they came to the door and said they're done, which is different than what Jacob said he said. Because what Jacob did not mention was that I told the brother to talk to ME and not my husband, which he didn't do. I said to text/call me. He didn't do that either. My husband works from home. He should've checked, but I said to his brother to talk to me because I knew my husband would be too busy to check. We can go on and on about "he said, she said," (or in this case, "he said, he said,") situation. In my experience, that isn't helpful which is why I only wrote about my experience and what the end product looked like. But since it was mentioned, I wanted to add those additional information so people can get the whole picture. Jacob was right that they were notified and that they came back the next day to pick up the debris, which is what we agreed to. I want everyone reading this to know that the team that came and did an exceptional job, was only expected to pick up the debris. When Jacob mentioned I said they went "above and beyond" was because they picked up the debris AND decided on their own terms (I assume) to clean the yard the way a clean up should have been done in the first place. I told this to Jacob in the hope that they would be celebrated. It was a giving and vulnerable gesture for Jacob to share another gardener's contact information. I'm still debating whether it would be a good idea or not. Vintage definitely will do their best to mend their mistakes. They're kind and respectful people. They want to do well. I want to be clear that I could not recommend Vintage not because that they're mean or awful people. No; They aren't. I can't recommend them because I want to recommend a lawn service that knows how to do the job they are advertising themselves for, consistently. My standard for a clean up is for the company to pick up the rotten fruits on the ground, to cut the lawn/weeds low, to not pull delicate plants that were mentioned not to, and to pull weeds that were clearly overgrowing. They didn't meet those standards. I've had multiple experience with them for yard maintenance and now, two times with yard clean up. I commend them for always trying to fix their mistakes, but again, these yard expectations should be done on the first time. This review was based off of months of using them for yard maintenance and now yard clean up twice. Perhaps they do better in a much more manicured yard setting where they're able to focus on just the lawn and rose pruning -- something more straight forward and simple. With my review, I hope if people are going with them that they are attentive to these things so they have a better experience than I did. I hope they hold Vintage more accountable. If Vintage truly are "willing to fix their mistakes and will gladly jump at the opportunity to mend this less than stellar service," then I hope this review will help them towards that. It is unfortunate it didn't work out with me, but please make your own decision and let's hope there's growth.

Antonio is friendly and cares about doing a good job…read more We hired Antonio to landscape our yard. We needed pavers, artificial turf, sprinklers, and new plants. We got a couple estimates and his estimate seemed like a good price. His experience showed when pointing out things we needed but hadn't considered (for example, better drainage for rain). And he was consistently amenable to meeting extra requests too (like an underground pipe for routing wires through the yard). There were a couple things I particularly liked about Antonio. First he was consistently jolly and a pleasure to be around. Even my 2-year-old was always happy to see him! Second, he cared about doing a good job. Small things would inevitably go wrong... For example, the artificial turf we wanted to install was out of stock or the shape of the pavers was slightly off. He put in the extra work to help us find alternatives and make sure the results were to our liking. In the end, we love our new yard and are trying to hire Antonio to handle other projects for us!
