At one point, someone picked up and then put the phone down. I concluded that they might be having phone problems, and given that they accept walk-ins, I drove over. When I got there, the office looked empty. There was nobody at the front desk and the office was silent. I decided to wait. After about five minutes, I decided to walk into the back offices and see if anyone was there at all. I found a woman sitting at her desk and I asked if they accepted walk-ins. She said they did and that she would be out in a minute. I went back to the waiting area. About five minutes later, a different woman came out, and she told me that she had a client and the other preparer was busy, so "it will be a long while". I got the hint that I should leave, and I did. Maybe it was an off day, but there were no indications that they were interested in receiving business.

I would not recommend this group. I had a great experience with the previous owner (different…read morecompany name) for years. I stayed with them for a while after it was bought out, but they seemed far less interested in discussing my business and answering questions. They simply did the taxes and never seemed consistent in how they handled things. Therefore, I moved on to another firm and feel good about the decision.
