The Bay View Shopping Centre could be dissapointing if your expecting a huge, modern Shopping Mall…read morebut it serves a purpose. Whilst its not the biggest and best Shopping Centre it is conveinient especially when its raining as everything is under one roof. The Centre has ample parking facilities, Toilets and a nice central Cafe which serves Snacks and beverages. The Selcetion of shops is fairly good, some of the most popular are Argos, Morrissons, Superdrug, Home Bargains, In Store, Savers and Dorothy Perkins. There are a good selection of discount stores so its ideal for picking up a Bargain. The Major draw is the Free Parking, a two storey car park means your always guarenteed a space and you can leave your cat their whilst you do some further shopping in Colwyn Bay Town Centre, which is only a few minutes walk away.

The Bayview Centre isn't by any stretch the best shopping mall in the world. It isn't all that big…read morebut it does have one thing going for it. There is a large, two storey car park. The nearest town is Llandudno which has a much better selection of shops but is an awful place for traffic and parking. Thanks to the Bayview parking in Colwyn Bay is much easier. The entrance is just off the A55 so you should hopefully avoid any traffic congestion as well. The centre is dominated by a largish Morrison's supermarket. There are also quite a few 'cheap' shops such as Home Bargains, Instore, The Works, Shoe Zone and Savers. Other well known high street names include Bon Marche, Superdrug, Iceland and Argos. There's also an open plan cafe which is a nice place to stop off for a quick cuppa (it's much nicer since the smoking ban came into place). It's not brillant but the car park makes it very convienient. UPDATE Unfortunately in their wisdom they've decided to install barriers on the car park. You can still park for free for two hours upstairs or three hours downstairs but the barriers mean that you are now likely to have to queue to get on and off which can be an annoyance and which has cost them one star! SECOND UPDATE I've decided to review my score for the BayView in light of the recent proliferation of salesmen and chuggers who presumably are permitted to operate there by the owners, no doubt in return for a fee. It's become almost impossible to pop into Morrisons to pick up a loaf without being accosted by energy salesmen and chuggers selling raffle tickets to raise money for our soldiers (although I doubt much of the money gets anywhere near any members of the armed forces). If anyone working for the owners reads this then please can you kick out the salesmen and I might start shopping in Morrisons again.

park safe in lancaster is i think the best place to park…read more you get a ticket as you go in and the gates shut behind you (so there is no chance of getting a ticket) you park in a bay and take note of your number then secure the bay when you go out this then means your car is safe. you need your ticket to get bach into the car park. there is cameras every where and panic alarms and the whole place is bright. it makes you feel safe

The car park owners were EXTREMELY SLOW at replying only replying on the following Tuesday. When they did reply they were very helpful in passing the CCTV images to the police, but at this stage the car was long gone. The CCTV isn't monitored and isn't available immediately when needed - what is the point of having CCTV if you are not monitoring it? The CCTV coverage doesn't monitor the whole site effectively. Secondly the patrols conducted by UK Parking Control LTD are not extensive enough, it took the thieves nearly 20 minutes to steal my car, having smashed the window and set the alarm off. If I could give it no stars I would, the owners didn't even offer to refund the cost of the car parking which would have been a decent gesture for something which is a severe economic and emotional loss.

Beaumaris Gaol is an 1800's prison turned into a tourist attraction. It's an interesting place to…read morevisit and if it does offer any surprises it's how "well appointed" it is, with some of the cells having toilets and water on tap. Admittedly I wouldn't want to live there but it's not quite as horrific as you might imagine how a Victorian prison would have been. According to one of the displays minimum standards of hygiene and medical care had to provided by law in order to reduce the risk of diseases spreading throughout the prison, and perhaps beyond. I had also expected that it would be a bit like Madame Tussauds with lots of dummies propped up about the place but there was only one (not a very lifelike one) so instead you're left to use your imagination and the many informative displays on the walls throughout the building. One word of warning, when we visited there were no card payment facilities so make sure you've got some cash if you're planning a visit.

Then I am informed that I should have parked in the NCP car park next door. I contacted Q Park and they were extremely rude and did not offer me any type of refund or credit. I would NEVER use this company again and I strongly advise anybody thinking of using them to find a different company.

The Car Park is underground, located beneath Chavasse Park, which means the space is HUGE, so can be difficult to navigate, find your car and then get out. Also, the odds are you probably won't be able to get a phone signal in the car park, which was the case for me and my guests, using different mobile phone networks. The parking rates are VERY high, you're paying a premium for secure 24/7 indoor parking, with so many sketchy and dangerous places to park in the city, where I have previously had my car vandalised, I felt a lot better parking here, but still, with rates starting at £2.90 for 1 hour, and going up to £15.50 for 5 hours, £18.50 for 6 hours, it seems a little high especially as £15.50 for 5 hours works out at £3.10 per hour, so you're actually paying more per hour to park for 5 hours. The parking area is actually quite easy on the eye, it has a slick and modern feel to it. There are plenty of lifts to get up to the shopping centre in minutes PRO TIP: There are multiple sets of lifts/entrances, so do take note of where your car is to avoid getting lost. I did suffer an injury in the car park, tripping over a small metal bolt which was built into the ground, I managed to stop myself from falling, but this did seem very dangerous and like an accident waiting to happen. I did report this to Q-Park, who took a while to respond and investigate with their solution being "We couldn't find anything", despite sending them clear photos. 3* - If you're looking for a rare secure place to park in Liverpool with the added bonus of being right in the shopping centre, and a good location overall, and don't mind paying a premium for such luxury, then this is the car park for you.

The car park is privately owned and close to the QPark on Epworth Street. QPark charges £5.90 for 6 hours and £7.90 for 24 hours. Guess how much this one charges ........£2.50 per visit and £5 for a lock-in fee. The open hours are pretty good if you are working late at work, staying open till 8.30pm Monday to Friday. Although only opening at 9am on the same days... so you might be late to work....

I came to this car park while in Liverpool today following good reviews about it being in the city…read morecentre and it being a safe, cheap place to park. I found it to be the opposite. Yes, it is really cheap to park at £3 a day, this has gone up from £2.50, but you still can't argue with the price. The worker who was on the car park, took my money and guided me where to park, he seemed nice and was in and out the car park. One of the main reasons of me parking here was a comment in another Yelp review, which mentioned it should be safe enough to park in the day time, but when I got to my car at around half 5, I noticed one of my wheel trims was missing. I don't know who will be responcible, I find it hard to believe the guy who was on and monitoring the sight would let someone do that to a car if he seen us, but I think he was going in and out of the car park. He still should of noticed and stopped the person who was to steal them. I don't want to blame him for doing it however I do feel he shares responcibility for being so careless to let this happen or doing it himself. The car park is quite small but still fits quite a few cars, I would expect based on the money they raise, they would make it look alot better, it wasn't flat and as smooth as other car parks, with no disabled parking and no lines seperating space to space, but still for £3 all day until closure at 6pm, I can't really moan about that. Still considering something was stolen from my car, I have to give a single one star review, it isn't in the best of locations, it is close to a Starbucks, Papa Johns and hospital, even a Lidl but it is still just over a mile away from the city centre and Liverpool One, which can make you feel exhausted, before you have even made it to the shopping centre and started shopping. I just wish, i'd of gone to a more expensive, more secure car park, even if it was in the city centre and alot less of a walk to the likes of a Liverpool One, I wouldn't have to splash out on a single wheel trim or walk over a mile and then feel exhausted before making it into the city centre.
