Unfortunately I had to cancel my appointment today due to unforeseen circumstances ie life threw me a curve ball. I did apologise, and I do appreciate it is very short notice and inconvenient. But due to the nature of this I'm now unable to attend. I am sorry.  But what I do not appreciate is the phone call I then received from a very bossy, aggressive woman at your opticians.  That person spoke to me in such a manner that was extremely rude, disrespectful, totally out of line and unacceptable, plus totally void of any understanding for my circumstance and with such distain. Not only was it a very unpleasant experience for me and not acceptable to be spoken to in such a venomous manner but quite frankly it was uncalled for especially as that person was having a go at me for every other person who has cancelled appointments is unacceptable.
