People stop me often. It's kind of funny! Some people think I'm a hairstylist because of my hair. I get carded because of my hair (cashier admitted this). I guess I look really "cool" and "young". I have changed my hair style and color many times over the years, and she just gets it. Great music and conversation with other clients and Sandy. Every visit is a good time.

The assistant sylist shampooed my hair and used a green towel that smelled like it had never been washed. I sat in the waiting area telling myself to shut up and stop complaining, but seriously? It's a hair salon and should have clean, freshly washed towels ready. I asked Sandy, the main hairstylist, to trim my hair, which is (was!) almost waist length. I even specified how many inches (ONE!) I wanted off. Next thing I knew, my hair was shoulder length and she was humming along like nothing had happened. Are you serious?! Judging from the good reviews, I think it's fair to say that she does a good job most of the time. She is a nice lady and seems to take pleasure in what she does. The price went up for a hair + beard cut and you would think the quality of the service would E there but not the case at all. I asked them to cut a little off the top and the guy kept cutting my hair until I had an inch hair left. I don't know what a little means to them. I also asked him to trim my beard a little but make sure it matches my beard length. He trimmed it uneven and on one side I see skin and the other a little darker. Doesn't match my beard length at all. And please don't think I'm making all the up. Wallahi I'm not lying. Hamtramck residents look elsewhere please. Save your money.
