I found this place and came in a pinch while in town. I will say, I was a walk in and got helped pretty quickly, so that was a plus and appreciated! My nails however, are thick, uneven, and have streaks and bubbles in them. I never ever want to tear a business down, but it was just overall not a good experience. There weren't any prices anywhere so I just trusted the process, to then be surprised when it was $80 for a full set. I'm not from the area, so they could be a great spot and I just had a bad experience, so just use your best judgement when deciding to go or not. read more

I received a pedicure from this place and it was awful. So awful that I didnt even bother to turn the massage chair on. Everything was rushed. My pedicure was a good 25 mins and we all know it should last an hour. The pedi was a rushed job. He was going so fast that the drill nicked me twice and I started bleeding around my nail bed. The filing of my nails were rough and the clipping of my toenails are unreal. The gel polish looks messy and my toes are halfway painted. I came here to waste some time but I will never go again. I will try the nail place across the street next time. Did I mention they were slick rude! read more

My mother & I had stopped in for a pedicure on a whim with it being both of our first times here. The wait time was way longer than expected but to be fair, we did not call ahead to schedule appointments (so I suggest doing so). We sat in our pedicure chairs waiting for a good 30 minutes. Overall appearance of the salon is outdated and drab but the staff were extremely friendly! The quality of my pedicure was pretty basic, nothing to rave about and they charged $45 for the "deluxe pedicure" when I feel like I only received services of the "basic pedicure". Still unsure if I would return for future services. read more

This is the worst place to get a pedi. My toes looks like a home job. They don't buff your toes an the massage is a joke. My husband does a better job, an he barely rubs. The polish was clumpy an she still used it. I will not go back!! I don't recomend going if you want a good pedi! read more

Beautiful Nails on Southside - DO NOT GO THERE. Gave me a fungal infection and uses dental acrylic! I have always had long natural nails. Due to my job they have been getting weak. Decided to get acrylic overlay for the first time a month ago. Went to Beautiful because I see it when I go to Walmart. Not knowing what to avoid I didn't realize he was drilling my nails paper thin. Didn't question why he had a mask on. Nails looked OK, felt strong, but the polish started to wear at the tips after a couple of days. I gave him another chance and went back after 10 days for a fill. He works so fast you can't even see your nails while he's working. Again, the polish started to wear and also chip very quickly, so I decided to try somewhere else. As soon as my new tech started trying to remove the old acrylic she told me it was the banned MMA (dental) acrylic. It took forever to soak and scrape off. Once it was removed she also showed me that I have a fungal infection on two nails. Yuk! I went home & did some research on MMA. That crap ruins your nails! And it can rip them from their beds! I'm so mad. And now I have to have ugly nails while I wait for the fungus to clear up. Never ever go to Beautiful Nails on Southside! I will be complaining to the State Board. read more
