Brenna is a master of her craft! Making a semi permanent commitment on your face is scary because a tiny mistake could be devastating and you're stuck with it. So- I was not shopping around for fast or cheap, I wanted the best and found Brenna. My natural eyebrows were far from symmetrical and one sat much lower than the other one. My resting b**** face was no joke lol. She didn't just give me some new perfect eyebrows. She "fixed" them and made them match which entailed making the resting B eyebrow higher, more arched etc. and they look amazing! Completely changed my face in a good way. It was important to me to find an artist, versus someone that has completed the necessary courses and training and then slaps some cookie cutter eyebrows on your face. Brenna is an eyebrow artist! I've been wanting to get my brows microbladed for years, but was so nervous or scared I would be botched! Cannot say enough good things about my experience with Brenna at Beauty & Blade! I made an appointment after seeing her Instagram and LOVING her style and am so glad I did. She far exceeded anything I could have imagined in the final result! I literally teared up at seeing the final result I was so happy. As a newb, I didn't really know what to expect from the process so thought I'd share what my takeaways were: - Brenna spent so much time making sure my brows were even. I get Botox and sometimes that can affect how your brows sit or even move and she took meticulous care to check her outlines from EVERY angle to get them right. So glad she did - The outline boxes ARE NOT what your brows will look like. First seeing them I was like "omg they're going to be huge!" But I trusted Brenna and truly they're just a guide so don't expect them to be as big as where the outline box is drawn! - I never knew anything about colored tattoos, but Brenna is a freaking wiz at it. I remember seeing the dye and thinking they were more red, brown than my hair but after healing they PERFECTLY match my roots and look so freaking natural - Brenna level set really well the healing process. And as other reviews share, it can be scary, but after 2 weeks my brows looked freaking perfect and just get better as each day goes on. End of the day, my takeaway is trust Brenna and her process. I was pretty nervous to get my brows done because I had such thin eyebrows & I never drew them in because I don't like a fake look...Im more into a natural look. Drew it out, numbed me, and then did her blade and shade technique. She was very thorough with her directions prior to getting them done, as well as the aftercare portion. If you get your eyebrows microbladed, DO NOT drink caffeine or alcohol before as it will alter your color and healing process. This is something she takes seriously, and I really respect, because she wants your brows to turn out exactly as she wants them!
