I booked my facial two weeks ago on the phone and was not asked for a card during booking. I got a call at 7:30 pm the day before my appointment and was asked for my card to confirm the appointment. I was walking my dog and didn't have my card. I was told I needed to go online and upload a card to their website before midnight in order to confirm my appointment. I did that. When I showed up the next day for my appointment, I was told it had been cancelled because I failed to upload a card. When I showed on my phone that I had uploaded a card, I was told they don't accept Amex and that my card wasn't accepted by the system and thus my appointment was cancelled. They apparently tried to call me that morning once but didn't leave a message. The person who did the facials didn't come in that day because i was their only appointment. It was very disappointing. That being said, the woman who was there was apologetic and offered to rebook me with a discount or do my nails. I ended up getting a pedicure from her that I thought was very good. She was friendly and did a great job with my pedicure!

While I'm dubious about some of the more ambitious claims of its many benefits, I enjoy it as a straightforward relaxation treatment. I've never had a reflexology session I haven't enjoyed, although some exert more pressure than others. This one was just the right balance, with enough pressure to feel like it's releasing tension, but not enough to be too painful! Pressure on different parts of your feet is intended to alleviate specific health problems, but for me it just leaves me feeling refreshed and like I'm walking on air afterwards. They also offer a range of other health treatments such as podiatry and chiropody, which I haven't tried, alongside their ever expanding range of cosmetic treatments, which I also haven't tried. The owner has teamed up with Dr Alan Wyn Jones of 'Defy Time' to expand the range of cosmetic treatments available at the clinic - and I hear they now offer all sorts from laser treatments to peels, as well as the scary stuff such as injectibles and fillers - but I think I'll be sticking to the massages and reflexology!
