Tasha took the time to explain to me what she thought went wrong with the previous stylist, she explained everything that she was planning on doing and why, and she addressed all of my concerns in a courteous and professional manner! Easy. 3) The salon was NOT ridiculously decorated or colored. I don't appreciate staring for an hour or two at walls that seem to be screaming at me. 4) My stylist, Samantha, listened to what I wanted and did not force her own opinion on me. She seemed to get my overall personal style and when I said I want to try to add some length, she said, cool, and didn't try to change too much. I am one of those people who constantly changes her style, but now that I've found a certain look that works for me, I want a stylist who will be laid back and go with it. There is nothing worse than a close-minded, judgmental stylist who doesn't care what you want. Also, in general, she seemed like a nice person. We talked to each other about life and hobbies. The person who I had booked for my blonding was more expensive than the other stylists in the salon, which I intentionally wanted that person. I came in and I talked with the person I booked with. They then went and put in extensions on a coworker who worked there and I had two girls color, tone and cut my hair. The stylist I booked and paid extra for only blow dried my hair. I was upset with that but still left happy with my color. I got home and looked at the back of my hair.. I genuinely cried over how bad it looked. Not only did my hair turn out awful with 2000s streaks, I had hot spots and my hair was so, so brassy. I also paid extra for a stylist who didn't even touch my hair. The salon was nice and the girls who did my hair were so sweet, but my hair looked like a raccoon :(
