This was not my first visit to this day-spa, but is most certainly my last, as I really didn't need to hear about the owner's issues with spotting and placenta previa in the loudest voice imaginable. The atmosphere of this place is the farthest thing from relaxing and feels more like a sorority house party in level of volume and subjects discussed. It doesn't help that the girl providing my service hurt me and then told me it was because my skin was dry. Thoroughly unpleasant. Avoid unless you want real life gossip girls and enough vocal noise to leave a ringing in your ears.

I had my eyebrows and upper lip threaded by Anita. She did an ok job. It looked good and there was little redness right after. BUT I do feel ripped off for $35 bucks without tip for like 5 minutes of work. It's not like I was surprised by the amount since I checked the price points online before and threading is a skill. But in Toronto (where I'm from) it's like $5-10 and you never need an appointment because there are so many places and lots of ladies dedicated to threading.
