Enzo is friendly, personable and I could listen to him speak Italian all day - while his English is not fluent, I could listen to him speak English with his strong Italian accent all day long!! The most beautiful language and the most beautiful accent ever anywhere. Between Italian, Spanish and English we had no problems communicating. Enzo was more affordable than a couple other places I contacted and I am very happy with the results! He comes from an entire family of hair stylists and barbers so I felt I was in very good hands. Communication before the wedding was good, but the execution on the wedding day did not meet my expectations. I provided inspiration photos for a soft, romantic bridal look with glowing, natural-looking skin. Instead, my makeup was much heavier than I requested. My eye makeup appeared uneven, and one eye looked noticeably different from the other in many of my wedding photos. The complexion makeup was also very matte and flat, lacking the luminous finish I had specifically asked for. Looking back at my wedding portraits, I don't feel like I looked like myself, which is incredibly disappointing. My hair also didn't match the inspiration photos. It lacked the softness and romantic feel I had envisioned, and there wasn't enough time to make meaningful adjustments before the ceremony. The morning felt rushed, and several members of my bridal party were also unhappy with their hair and/or makeup. Because of the tight timeline, there wasn't enough opportunity to address concerns or refine anyone's look before we had to leave. I want to be clear that the artists themselves were kind and professional throughout the day. My disappointment is with the final results and the overall experience. As a bride, you only get one wedding day. Hair and makeup are such an important part of how you feel when you walk down the aisle and how you'll remember yourself in your photographs for years to come. I wish there had been more attention to detail, more time for refinements, and a closer adherence to the inspiration photos I provided.

Pamela is from Argentina and is very personable. She does a great job coloring my hair and gives the ends an occasional trim. The prices are super reasonable. She does hair and makeup for events, and offers some facial hair removal services. I haven't used them myself as I just get my hair colored and trimmed. I had a friend in town visiting and she made an appointment with Pamela and absolutely loved her hair! She does not speak English completely, but between my google translator and her little English, she understands my needs perfectly. Also, when you come, the entrance is a bit hard to find the first time. Just go up the stairs...walk straight back...and it's immediately on your left. If the door is closed, just knock and they let you right in. Give her a try! She's great!!!

Had makeup and hair done for myself, my mother, my mother in law and best friend, so 4 of us total…read more Beauty truck seemed to be a cool concept. Makeup was fine, really no issues there. I dont think the hair is worth what you pay for - for "professional" hair and also the owner having an attitude if someone pointed out something that didnt really like. My mother in law was easy going, stating to surprise her but after the owner offered to do a fishtail braid to the side, my mother in law asked what I thought and personally I didnt think it was her style since she usually does her hair in an updo when shes getting styled and I also didnt think it was elegant enough for her walking her son in the wedding. My mother in law told the owner BEFORE she really did anything to her hair that she didnt think she wanted the fishtail braid (she had curled a couple of strands then they took a bathroom break), then they got back from their bathroom break, my mother in law told me that she had told the owner no to the fishtail...and she still did the fishtail! Then the owner wouldn't adjust or do an updo with the fishtail because she said she "couldn't really change it." Her hair just looked messy for being done by a hairstylist and for the price we paid. My mother wasnt very happy with her hair either. She was the 1st person and had an inspiration picture that was shown multiple times. Every time my mother mentioned something about her hair and what to change or fix to match more like the picture, you could tell the owner had a problem with my mother saying something. It's like she was annoyed and would quickly grab more Bobby pins to place in her hair. My hair (as the bride) was good, however, my hair was already falling out before getting to the ceremony which was only a max of 1.5 hours later after getting dropped off back at the hotel. For the amount of hairspray and Bobby pins that were put in our hair, I thought it would've stayed up a lot longer. I was embarrassed and felt bad for my guests paying this price for this type of hair and an unnecessary attitude from the owner. The final balance was paid in cash, and when our hair and makeup was done, I was given the total balance due. I stated that each guest was paying their portion separately and it was as if this was an inconvenience instead of just handing over the total amount in one lump sum.

One artist did well, but one terrible artist who did my MIL and we had to redo her entire glam/set us back two hours during the wedding day. My MIL is brown, skin and she gave her orange foundation, which was unacceptable. Her and my SIL missed a lot of our pictures and everyone was rattled. I only had 4 bridesmaids, so this was disappointing. In general, they really do one "style" of makeup (heavy eyes, same painting format) and even after showing them photos of what I wanted, they don't really deviate from that. It still looked OK, but I was hopeful to have gotten more of what I asked for. I know this part is my fault, but you have to pay balance in CASH ONLY, after touch up, during cocktail hour. This was on the 5th page of the agreement in small print and I had paid everything up till that point electronically. Over email, they do not answer questions directly (may be the language barrier, as we were speaking english) and missed some key details like this after a lot of back and forth. They held me, my MOH, and my sister hostage for 45 mins in the cocktail hour until we were ultimately able to pay in electronic form due to calling their boss. We were sitting around ALL morning (I gave them very generous cash tips in the AM) and had a ton of downtime before 5PM, so them being rude and sticklers during that precious time was really disappointing. For example, our video team also required day-of payment which we had - but they said "hey no worries, pay us later, enjoy your wedding". It's not that hard to be nice on a wedding day, but they found a way to avoid that. Lastly, it was not very clear that the makeup truck is parked far away from the resort and ALL ladies need to be on the bus for the entire time. This does not really work logically, as ideally, not all of us would be stuck on a small bus for 7 hours while we're paying for an expensive resort. By the time I realized this, they were inflexible to help acommodate us back to the resort, so I had to pay the entire bus fee AND now my resort fee.
