It is a pity: this place started quite well some time ago, but it has shown a very clear decline in customer service in the past 6 months. Personnel changes brought untrained people. I had a terrible experience with waxing (this turkish lady burned me during a bikini wax and when I complained, she left me there, on the table and went up to ask for help.... nobody came (from the two other ladies working in nails upstairs) and what is worse, I later complained (by phone to the manager (or owner) Renee, and to me it seemed she really did not care: she agree to call me so I left my number (it was a Saturday, so she was not there) and she never did. It is a poorly ran, with poorly trained staff (morale and energy are quite low) business in a "centric, convenient area" of Basel. They tried to become a "cool" salon in a picturesque street in downtown Basel: I even happily thought it was going to be the alternative to Pure aveda (which is totally overpriced and at least a couple of years ago, also quite mediocre ), but Alas, it is unfortunately pretty bad. I will not return. I think there is a real opportunity for good quality, solid service nail and waxing salons in this area, I hope someone grasps the opportunity soon and delivers! read more
