A molar broke and an emergency appointment was needed. The office and type of care were excellent. I was offered same day and options on how to fix the issue. I wasn't with my normal dentist and had the newest member of the team and a tech I wasn't familiar with. Other than giving good options for treating the broken molar, he wasn't communicative on what he was doing at each step or responsive to my reactions of anxiety and needing to swallow and breathe. This younger dentist was very heavy with his hands in the mouth. It was like he wasn't letting the tools do the job they are intended to do and had to use hand pressure to do the work. My jaw, neck and head were pounding when the visit was finally done. Also, the interaction between the dentist and the tech were minimal and very awkward like they had never worked together before or had some type of HR issue. I love my hygienist and my normal Dentist, but if I have another dental emergency, I will wait for an appointment with my own dentist or go somewhere else. read more

Why is it that Yelp always has the worst review up when I log into it to review my dentist? I like my medical providers to be; patient when I ask questions, informative and thorough with their answers, efficient with my time, and perform quality work that is in my best interest. I am not by nature a chatty person so I don't need a 'personable' provider although they all are. I so appreciate the staff at Beaver Dam Dental for having all the qualities I need to have a great experience every time I visit. I have had all three doctors and they are all great. Dr. Harris is usually my provider and he delivers what I need every time. Get in, get it done, and get out. They know what I need and give it to me with abundant smiles. I've been going here for a few years, and have decided to continue to see Dr. Harris and his team even though I have moved away from the area. Dr. Harris is very thorough and careful. He makes sure that potentially painful procedures, like injections and drilling, are done as painlessly as possible, using topical anesthetic, counter pressure, and distraction techniques. I seriously didn't feel any pain from the injection. The equipment is very up to date and efficient. His team of hygienists have been excellent as well, checking with me often to ensure I'm comfortable. I had planned on finding a new dentist closer to my new residence, but I'm very happy with Dr. Harris, and plan on staying here for comfortable dental care. read more

As always, my visit to Beaver Dam Dental was good. The staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Stecker is friendly and has a wonderful 'bedside manner'. He works quickly and checks to be sure you are doing ok during all procedures. I've had many pain free fillings here. If complications arise, the staff is helpful in getting you the care you need quickly. I have recommended many friends and family members to this clinic for their dental needs. The waiting room, overall office and treatment rooms are cleaned frequently, (someone came and wiped down all commonly touched surfaces while I was waiting), which is very reassuring in this post pandemic world! Beaver Dam Dental is by far the best dental provider a consumer could ask for. Befor I became a patient there I had been to several dentists that either cost far to much for their services or weren't what I'd expect of a dentist. Plus their business hours are great for every schedule! They are very patient and do the best work. I don't plan on going anywhere else. I've thought about looking closer to home but then return to the thought that no matter what services I've had done there I am never in pain afterwards. I remember always needing medication or being prescribed medication after a dentist appointment and at their business I have never needed any. That to me is absolutely amazing. From the warm and always pleasant receptionists, to the hygienists ( especially Miss Ashley), and of course the best dentists ever! My dental care at Beaver Dam Dental is exceptional! The office staff is flexible with my schedule and communicative. They treated my severe tooth pain about 3 weeks ago with antibiotics, stating that a root canal should be performed in three weeks. When I arrived for my root canal, I said I had no more pain. The Doctor said there should be SOME pain the antibiotics only treated the infection. They took a precautionary X-ray of my tooth just to be sure. They compared X-rays and found the infection was gone, and my tooth and root were unharmed. No root canal was needed! They took extra steps to avoid unnecessary costs and procedures! Learned I needed a filling replaced, Dr Harris provided an estimate & we scheduled the appointment for a couple weeks out. Anxiety set in... arrived at Beaver Dam Dental early for my appointment. I shared my anxiety, and was handled very "gently". Details were explained about what they were doing & I was asked several times "How are you doing", "Everything going OK?", "Want a blanket?", "Need a break?". This has always been the best dentist facility I've used throughout my life. Went to a few different when I moved out of the area, and I always wished I had this one back. The staff always makes you feel like your at home. One particular staff member named Ashley is out-standing. We had our 3 year old in today who was very fearful of having people touching his teeth and she was very gentle and sweet. The whole time my child smiled and actually seemed to enjoy his appointment because of the effort she put in to making him feel calm. Excellent experience. They were able to work me in on short notice - one day, I was examined and given an exam and X-ray on my tooth, at which time Dr. Stecker went through all the things to consider. In his opinion, it was best to pull my tooth,( a back molar which was broken all the way through).I agreed. The procedure went very well, he was very aware of any pain I may have been feeling. After the tooth was out, they were very thorough with the care that should be taken, and if I had any problems to contact them immediately. we have gone to Dr. Stecker for many many years for our whole family. Not only is he a skilled dentist he is also very friendly, and always makes you feel so comfortable there. The dental hygienist , Brittany, was awesome as well. our family recently moved out of town but I still choose to come back to see Dr. Stecker because I trust him and feel comfortable with him for all my dental work. Since I live about town they were able to get me in on very short notice because I had to come back to the area for another appointment. I had an appointment for my very first Root Canal. I was extremely nervous to say the least. The dentist was very professional and answered my questions to what was going to happen. They let me wear my sunglasses and listen to music on my earbuds. He always paused to ask if I was ok and to continue which I found great. The only painful thing was the shot to the palette of the mouth but he warned me beforehand on that. The procedure went very well and just the normal soreness. I love this dentist and even if I move to Appleton I would make the hour trip to continue going here. Great people and great place! read more

I had not been to see Beaver Dam Dental in 4 years due to pandemic and other health issues. Despite that they got me in quickly for a painful badly chipped molar. Expecting to be told that my tooth needed to be extracted I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Huybrecht told he could rebuild it. The rebuild he did fits like it has always been there. This ended up so much better than I expected. Having been a client here since about 2015 I can say these dentists are top notch practitioners that I would recommend to anyone. Over the years the staff has changed but the new hires have been just as friendly and their services just as professional as the old ones. I have always been cheered by the good care I have received at Beaver Dam Dental. Dr. Harris is very thorough yet he takes the time to listen to me and my preferences. He also is skilled at working within the mouth. I have found that past dentist have left soreness, cuts and bruises when the medicine wore off. I have to say that Dr. Harris and his team are the most amazing that I've ever come across in my life. When Dr. Harris gives you your local anesthetic you don't even feel a shot not in the roof of the mouth not anywhere.
