They return calls and emails in a timely fashion, even sometimes on holidays and on weekends when I didn't expect to hear back until the work week. They have worked hard to get my perimenopausal symptoms under control. In regards to the reviewer who didn't understand the pricing, well that's really confusing to me because pricing has always been explained clearly and reasonably and I feel she possibly just made assumptions and didn't ask the clarifying questions she obviously had. The lab cost can be covered by insurance if the person chose to go to and outside lab and not have them drawn in the office. That's what I do. The $125 consult fee is a one time thing and never paid again. It's valuable as that 1 hour consult was the most thorough explanation of my labs and evaluation of my symptoms I've ever had. The $299 for topicals or the $499 for pellets is the program fee for that particular service. It covers all of the time and care that goes into having you as a patient in that program...the subsequent lab reviews, the phone calls and emails when you have questions, the faxing things to the pharmacy, etc. And pellets are included in the fee and it's only $499 the first time and then it drops to $399 every time after that. I've been treated by them in various modalities over the past 5 years so I feel like I'm sort of an expert in their plans/pricing. lol So after the initial set up for everything, I pay $399 every 3-4 months for pellets or $299 plus the cost of meds for topical/sublingual. (I've done both. I prefer pellets because I can't remember to apply my topicals on schedule) Meds are based on the pharmacy so you can always ask to have them called into a different compounding pharmacy if you know of a cheaper one. When you go to a regular doctor, you pay an office visit fee every time, and then you pay for your medication at the pharmacy. The only difference is, your insurance isn't covering it so you feel the cost of the office visit fee. Anyway, I hate to see their rating drop and someone make an opinion on that based on the review of someone who was obviously confused and then didn't ask enough questions to get the clarity she needed. Hormone management is pricey when you choose bio-identicals...but IMHO they are safer, more natural, and it would be 10 x more expensive if I continued to let my periomenopausal rage and lack of libido cause me and my husband to divorce. lol Can't recommend Loop enough. They saved me.

I've been to this practice both for my 13 year old son and myself…read more I was impressed how they handled my son's care--swapping out some higher carb and calorie foods with lower calorie and lower carb options. They focused on keeping him at his current weight as he grew, not putting him on a major diet or creating some sort of food issue for him. I think they handled his care related to his weight perfectly for his age. For myself, I did the 12 week standard program which involved food tracking and a calorie deficit (no medical meals or medications). They told me up front that every other week I'd come in, I would alternately meet with a nutritionist (not billed to insurance) and a nurse practitioner and the nurse practitioner visits would be billed to my insurance so I knew that up front. I feel like all the nutritionists and nurse practitioners listened to me and were really wanting me to succeed. I did a second 12 week program and lost a total of 20 lbs over the two programs. I learned a lot and have kept that weight off. When I am ready to continue my weight loss journey I will definitely go back to this clinic.

My sister has been going to a sister office and has had a completely different experience. I called 2 days ago to ask if there was a different medication that I could be prescribed because Zepbound is out of stock everywhere. I got a call back but had more concerns and requested that NP Suwal call me back or at least answer my question and have a receptionist call me back. I was very upset and crying on the phone because after waiting 8 days for Walmart to fill the Zepbound, I started calling around to different pharmacies because they are out of stock everywhere. I drove over 4 hrs round-trip in traffic to go to a pharmacy that had it. (I called 6 of them). Well, NP Suwal didn't code my rx as diagnosis: ICD-10, therefore I could not use a coupon from Lilly.com to save me over $500. Now, this is a place that specializes in WEIGHT LOSS. Shouldn't they know to do this?? Especially since my sister had no problem with using the coupon because apparently that office knows what they are doing. So, I paid over $1000 without insurance (their office was closed and therefore couldn't have NP Suwal call that in) with a lofty $100 off with a Walgreens coupon code. I don't really believe this business cares about it's customers, just the almighty dollar.
