I bought a bigger table and one chair 12 years ago when I moved to Minnesota. Still holding. This place they were attentive to our presence and they asked us few times if we need any more information. I did ask a few questions and I appreciated the quality and the discounts. They have upstairs downstairs and across the hall. The mattresses are very expensive and that's only item. I may not purchase from here. Probably, I will get a cheap mattress and buy a 3 inch memory phone from Costco unless they do have something matching in price. They have many beautiful pieces and competitive sales however the lack of customer service is a huge flaw. I had ordered a bedroom set on NYE with an expected delivery date in the middle of March. As March neared I had called for an update on the order and told some pieces were in but they were waiting on the rest. At the beginning of March, I again called for an update; this time Jason, the manager said the order was delayed and that I would be contacted with updates as they have them. I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something he wasn't telling me so two weeks later I called again for an update. This time I am told that the majority of the bedroom set may never come in due to its extended delay. I understand and can accept reasonable delays but having to repeatedly contact Becker for updates sucks. Update following Becker's response: the store's updates are that they have no updates. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews especially during the high pandemic times when everything was wonky in the world. I had a great experience working with a salesperson and guiding me around the store. With protection plan and delivery, the prices are pretty much the same if not cheaper than the online sites and my couch arrived already assembled after going up two flights of stairs. The drawback is naturally limited selection, I would have preferred more modern styles to check out in the showroom versus the mostly "traditional" suburban mom stuff. FYI some items are randomly on clearance and differ from the website and even some stores have different items. They sold me a mattress and said it came with a pack of freebies, and that I needed to use the free mattress protector if I ever wanted to return the mattress. I tried to return the mattress and only now am I told that the value of those freebies will be deducted from my return. It's literally half the cost of the mattress! What bullcrap; they totally lied (at least by omission) in order to secure the sale. Definitely don't buy from these guys, they are not honest. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM Becker, All the issues I have had are unforgivable, Covid or no Covid the things in Becker's Control are completely terrible service and Guarantee. Months and months waiting, they missed the delivery date due to their internal lack of communication. Deal with someone who stands behind their product. The product was delivered and one side doesn't work correctly. This is embarrassing to have people come to our lake home and ask them to not sit in a love seat that is 3 months old. I highly recommend shopping elsewhere. Their customer service is horrible and dishonest. I purchased a leather couch from them back in February 2015. It had to be ordered as it wasn't a selection they kept in stock. The sales person informed me it would take roughly 3-4 months for it to arrive. Due to a strike by dock workers somewhere along the line it became more 6-7 months which the store kept me informed. The issues started when the piece finally arrived and they came to deliver it. As the delivery men were bringing in the pieces, I noticed the leather on the first section had been scratched in numerous places. I told the delivery guys to not bother bringing in the other pieces as I was going to refuse the order. Having to wait as long as I did and pay the handsome price that I did, I wasn't about to accept delivery on a imperfect product. The delivery man told me it was their policy to leave the furniture with the customer and that customer service would contact me to resolve the issue even if it meant picking the furniture up at a later time. That they would rather you have something to hold you over than nothing at all. Thinking this was a sign of excellent customer service I allowed them to bring the rest of the pieces in. Their customer service did contact me within a few days to address the scratches that must have happened in shipping. I was told that the manufacturer of the couch liked to be involved with these issues and that due to them being in Italy it would take a while to get a solution. Eventually they scheduled a technician to come out and evaluate the couch. He said he could try doing some spot corrections but it wouldn't be a 100% fix or the other option was to order new coverings to put on the the couch. I opted for option two and was told it would take some time to get the replacement coverings. When the replacement covering finally arrived, I believe at this point it was probably a year after I initially ordered it if not longer. The technician came out and as he placed the new covering over the couch, HE noticed and pointed out that the die job of the leather wasn't close to that of the leather on the arms or rear cushions. He said he would let their customer service know and they would advise on how to proceed. After speaking to them and saying it was unacceptable they said they would contact the manufacturer again. When I heard from them again I was told the manufacturer felt that the die job of the replacement coverings fell within acceptable parameters. At this point it felt like their customer service was done assisting in the matter. Their tone was that of we've gone through the normal channels, there's nothing else we can do. At this point I told them this was horrible customer service and even contacted the store manager hoping that their involvement might get things rolling in a better direction. Unfortunately they just peddled me back to their customer service. They became extremely hard to get a hold of and were not returning phone calls. Their last offer was for a joke of a refund, it was slightly more than their delivery fee! Hoping a trip into the store to speak to the manager face to face may have a better outcome. Absolutely will not do business with them again. Customer service is huge and standing behind the product you sell. If I knew in the long run they were going to leave me with a scratch and dent item I would have refused the delivery that day. At least I would have gotten a refund to purchase a couch elsewhere. If you do chose to do business with them I can't emphasize enough, if anything is not to your liking at time of delivery, REFUSE to accept it. read more

After a pleasant experience with the sales staff my experience with the company has and is continuing to be filled with bad service and errors. After a long delay that was not the fault of Becker Furniture due to the shutting down by the corona virus, we received the 2 head boards and 1-foot board that we ordered along with a bed frame to use with the same products. The delivery date was June 20th. The bed frame did not have a bracket to receive the footboard. We called the service resolution service the next day to report the problem and I submitted the proper forms the same day I received them by email. On the form it is stated a response will follow within 5 business days. After a full week I had not gotten a call back and I called them. It was stated that they had not reviewed it as yet and promised that it would be taken care of immediately. A week later no call back. I called again and they said nothing new to report. I expressed dissatisfaction and they said they were "sorry". A week later they said there was an email sent to manufacturer and nothing back from them. Another week and another call by me to them and I discovered, not them that they had called the manufacturer of the head boards rather than the bed frame that was clearly stated on the invoice and complaint form I provided them initially. I asked for call back by a supervisor and was given an excuse that that is not how they operated. I said to please bring this to the attention of a supervisor and that I expected a phone call back wit answers on how this is going to be corrected. Today is Aug 3rd and almost another week has gone by and to date all contact has been initiated by me. When I called after having to punch a bunch of buttons I was put on hold and then disconnected. I tried to call the individual store and after going through the same protocol of punching buttons to get to talk to and actual person I was again disconnected. That brings me to writing this review. I was concerned about buying a mattress that day because I had already tried 3 other mattresses online with a Free trial period (no extra fees and will provide a full refund) and was not satisfied because they caused back pain. I asked if they had a free trial period she said yes, it made me feel at ease. However she did not explain at the time that they do not provide a refund rather a reselect, which means exchange, only. Plus an additional 10% processing fee and a 100 dollar delivery fee. Only at checkout did she ask me to initial the triall period policy, which was not well explained. When I looked at it closer at home I should have cancelled the order. They even told me that you can't pick a mattress in 5-10 min in the store, there needs to be a trial period... this period should be free not an additional 200 dollars and they should give you the freedom to look at other mattress brands that they don't stock. When I posted a similar review in Google, they replied that their policy is reviewed with every customer. Two things, it was not reviewed very well with me. Second, the policy needs to be more customer friendly with providing a refund and not expecting they have the best mattress for everyone that comes in the store. They also make you purchase their mattress protector even if you have a waterproof protector for the trial. They do have a policy for a full refund if it is not opened within 7 days of purchase... however the delivery guys took off the packaging even when I asked them to keep it on. They voided their own policy so I could not have a full refund. Dishonest. The manager was a lot more friendly and helpful when I told him the situation, but still couldn't provide me with a refund due to the poor communication of the initial sale. I just want people to be aware of the greater risk of purchasing a mattress here compared to true free trials and longer trials with online companies. read more

Wish I had read these reviews before we ordered a chair from them. Same as others, they said expected delivery of Feb 14th (Ordered Nov 5th) but it could take up to 4 months. We called end of Feb since we never heard from them and they said would take another few weeks, it was in customs. Liars. I talked to the manager and he said he printed our order and would keep me updated. Never heard from him. Got a call that it would be delivered April 14th from the delivery people. Never heard back from the store. Their customer service sucks. Will never buy from them again and have told all I know not to and posted on Facebook to never shop at any of their stores. read more

If you ever actually want to receive the furniture you purchase, don't go here! We ordered our couch at the Rosedale Center location the weekend of August 15-16th and was given an estimated 6-8 weeks for delivery. We never received an update on our order (which was supposed to happen soon after purchase) and we still haven't received our couch as of November 10th. We've called the store multiple times and each time we call, the estimated delivery date is pushed back at least 2 weeks. Right now, their estimated delivery date is 15 weeks after we ordered. At this rate we most likely won't have our couch until after the new year, which is ridiculous. We also requested fabric samples before the delivery of the couch so we could purchase a rug and still haven't received those either! Unless you're buying a floor sample or something in stock, I would not go here. read more

I would give this place 1 star if it weren't for the fact that the furniture is decent. The management and sales people here are terrible. They entered my order wrong 3 separate times, all requiring calls and additional money from my credit card. Then, a week later, they told me my custom furniture orders was all set, only to find out the company no longer carried that particular piece. They offered me free shipping after all the hassle. Ordered a new living room set. The saleswoman was great and our furniture was ordered corectly. We had a piece show up in the wrong color. After having to call the furniture store daily for over a week and not receive a call back after being promised so by multiple managers, safe to say I would not shop here again. She helped me pick out the perfect Queen Mattress set with covers and pillows. I returned a few days later to buy a twin mattress for my son and guest room. My delivery came on time and my buying experience was smooth from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this store and location, as well as salesperson to anyone! read more

I would not recommend shopping here. We ordered a dining room table/chairs and bar stools, but ended up being delivered the wrong bar stools at the wrong height as well as a damaged dining room table and chairs. After investigating, they found out that the salesman entered in the wrong code for the stools (that's after going over everything in store and verifying with him). By the time the stools were reordered, they were on back order so we had to wait quite a while. Eventually they delivered them, but they were chipped and cracked. So again we waited for another delivery only to find they were damaged as well. The dining room table and chairs that were originally damaged as well were delivered several times too, and each time still damaged as well. We ended up returning the bar stools because they still couldn't deliver a quality product, even when the item was finally accurate. We kept the dining room table/chairs, but had to continue to wait for non-damaged items, and still the table isn't what it should be - instead it's just the least damaged one. There seems to be no quality control at all and the delivery people we encountered were not very professional. Their customer service is also lacking. Not impressed and very disappointed eventhough management was brought in. Think twice before going here. There are better options available in the cities. read more

Bought this couch and picked it up on the 5/16, it had the extra piece I emailed my associate and called the store. No one followed up. Next I contacted customer service at corporate, the gal who answered the phone gave a sob story on being short staffed, but she would get back to asap. No one called! I then contacted and spoke with the customer service manager, he was cold didn't really offer an apology but said he ordered the couch and he would get back to me with a delivery date....crickets. So I called Blaine location back again spoke with a lovely assistant manager whom I do believe understood the fact that I was pissed of that I had to do the work to get this situation resolved. To this date almost a month out I think I am getting a couch but not really sure...I also posted on fb this afternoon and they erased my post which took me time to write, now I only want to speak with someone at a very high level, because I did what I was supposed to do, you guys have not. If you are looking for a retailer who stands behind their furniture, stay far away. Bought a $1,000+ dining room table set that started have wearing away of the veneer finish after two months. The issue spread to the entire table, so we contacted Becker to see what they can do. After 3 follow-up calls where we had to remind them of the issue and no progress had been made in finding a solution, we found out the manufacturer deemed the issue "water damage" based on the cell phone pictures we sent in, so there is nothing they can do. At Becker, that means there is nothing they are willing to do either. Store Manager Jason could not have been less helpful. After following up with him for two weeks, he also told us it is water damage and there is nothing they could do. They never sent a technician to our house or did any follow-up so they really have no clue. Table-wide water damage would be impossible. I know how to clean a table and we did not leave it submerged in water. After months of frustrating phone calls, we were left with nothing. read more

I bought a beautiful, leather couch from Becker Furniture World. Unfortunately, shortly after the purchase, I accidentally damaged my couch. Although I had purchased insurance through Becker to cover accidental damage, the insurance company denied my claim. Connor Kiddo, the store manager in Roseville, went "above and beyond" to advocate on my behalf. Because of his persistent effort, the insurance company fixed my couch (5 months after the incident). Mr. Kiddo is a true champion for the customer. Because of him (and because I love my couch), I would recommend Becker Furniture World to anyone. read more

Purchased a tempur pedic bed from the Roseville store, all was fine until the bed was to be delivered on November 30 (had received confirmation message day before of estimated delivery time, etc.) on November 30 the delivery driver called to say they would be to our home in 10 minutes or so...after 30 minutes of a no show I called the delivery driver back and he told me I had been rescheduled. I called customer service to find they didn't have our bed, after calling the Roseville store then being transferred to customer service and back to the Roseville store I was told by the sales manager that my rep was with a customer and unable to assist me. Assistant manager told me I would met they were unable to deliver until December 2 (this wouldn't work since we had no bed currently). After 40 minutes of running around with Becker furniture I called another tempur pedic vendor who not only upgraded our bed but delivered 2 hours later. While at the other vender the sales person finally called me to tell me how disappointed he was that I was canceling my purchase because he'd lost out on a big year end bonus :( ugh! Then the sales manager called to tell me how sorry she was and told me she would send me a 60 gift card. It's now December 10th and I have yet to receive the gift card, Becker furniture is awful and knows nothing about customer service. read more

Horrible experience, will never shop here again. We purchased a full living room with a rug. We were told about 8 weeks for delivery. After 10 weeks we got a garbled message about the furniture being late. After 3 calls to customer service and the Roseville store I was finally able to speak with an assistant manager and was told 10 more weeks for delivery. I requested they contact the factory and cancel the order if it was going to take that long. Called back the next day to say the furniture had already shipped and we should have it the following week. Had to call again two weeks later as we hadn't heard a thing. They were not delivering the now 6 week late (14 weeks since the order) order because the rug hadn't arrived. Finally got the furniture the following week and were told the rug would be shipped direct in about 2 weeks. 6 weeks and many phone calls later still no rug. Stay away from this store if you actually want to get what you order. read more

I went here yesterday to purchase furniture for our new house. I saw one other customer in the store and at least 7 employees, some of them clearly doing nothing but gabbing. In the entire 20 minutes we were there, not a single person glanced our way. I actually commented to my mom one of us could drop dead on the couch and no one would notice. Finally I asked someone for help because I had found some items I liked; she paged a sales associate who never showed. They have nice items, but I'm not going to beg someone to take my money. Following my Yelp complaint, I was contacted by the manager of the Roseville store, Sheila Bender. She gave me every indication that she would be helping me resolve my complaint. It was agreed that I would resend my pictures to her directly. That was Dec. 8, 2017. I have heard absolutely nothing! There is no question that Becker Furniture World has extremely poor customer relations and service along with poor quality Becker brand leather furniture. The agreed pickup day came and I went to retrieve the stand, I was told it wasn't in stock, and they would call me, assuring me i would have this thing by Friday. Hmmm...that didn't happen, but I called to check..now...i am being told 2-3 weeks. My last trip to Becker will be for a refund. What a hassle, this place is the best reason to shop online. read more

Never AGAIN!! I will never purchase anything nor recommend Becker to anyone!! This dates back to February 2014, we purchased a couch and over sized chair from the Woodbury location and now its Jan 2015 and I am still dealing with the same issue 11 MONTHS later!!. It was delivered in March 2014. The over sized chair was delivered to me with a tear in the back, I immediately contacted customer service to let them know it was defective took 2 weeks to get it resolved so I thought. Had to wait for a service tech to come fix it because customer service rep told me and I quote "its not our fault you live in St Paul and our technicians come from Becker Minnesota and they are only in your area 1 time a month" SO 2 weeks later (April 2014) a tech showed up, wasn't able to fix the tear so he placed a order for a completely new back. 1 month later I called wondering the status and I was told the order was cancelled and they had no reason why, so they re-ordered it now its May 2014. June came and gone called a few times only to be told its still on order. July was here and still no call and no service technicians, I called again looking for a status update only to be told it was NEVER re-ordered and they didn't know why I was told before it was still on order. I asked to speak with a manager only to be told there was not one available. I was persistent on speaking with someone and was transferred to a voicemail of whom they said was a manager of their customer service department. I did receive a call back and she wasnt sure why things were happening the way they were but said rather than me waiting for a new back and a service technicians to come fix it she would just even exchange my chair. July 2014 I was told I would get a new chair... Chair was delivered within a week or 2 (July 2014) only to be damaged also. I informed the delivery people when we were standing there examining it and contacted customer service again. This time a board from the back of the chair was detached and sticking out pushing against the fabric ready to rip it. I was told again they would have to schedule a service tech to come fix it and someone would call me to set up the date and time. (July 2014) August, Sept, Oct, 2014 called customer service looking for the status of the technician only to be told they would call me to schedule it that they were extremely busy this time of year. Dec 2014 I finally had enough and called again, was transferred to 2 different people who could not help. I was then again transfered to a voicemail of yet another customer service manager (thats what they claim) and I left a message. I received a call back within hours from her. She dont understand why I have been given the run around so she offered to give me the store credit for the stuff I purchased (both pieces) minus the delivery fee and to come into a store and pick something else out. I told her if this is what she wants me to do then they (Becker) should cover the cost of the delivery of the new stuff since I already paid for delivery the first time around. She said she could not authorize that but yet claimed to be a manager. She placed me on hold and then came back to say I would not have to pay delivery again. Since it was the week before Christmas I told her I could not do it right away and she said I had no time frame. Figure I have been waiting this long for a new chair whats another week or 2 before I could make it in. A couple days before New Years Eve I went to the Becker in Woodbury I walked around looking at many pieces of furniture NEVER once was I approached by a sales associate so after 40 minutes I walked out. On Friday Jan 16th 2015 I received a call from a manager at the Rosedale location mind you this is the 1st time in 11 months anybody from Becker called me without me initiating the phone call 1st just to follow up with me. I explained to her the situation again and we agreed to meet on Monday Jan 19th. So Monday has come and gone and I am still with the same broken piece of furniture. I went to the store asking for ***** only to be told by a sales associate that she was busy with other customer and could not help me. I explained to her that I was told to ask specifically for this certain manager and the sales associate disappeared again only to come back now saying she was in a meeting. After explaining briefly to her what was going on she said she would help me and asked in a snobby tone "what exactly do you want" then. I finally said I had enough I wasnt going through this again and told her I WANTED the PIECES of S**T of furniture out of my house and my money back!!! I have just about had it! we walked out of the store again empty handed and still in the same situation as I have been in for 12 months!Jan 22nd 2015 we went to the Woodbury store, only to walk out empty handed..They refused to compensate me anymore for any of the troubles and I refuse to give them any more money for different stuff.Dang ran out of review room!!!!!! read more

Shari, the sales person, made so many mistakes on our "build your own" table/chairs we didn't know if we would get what we ordered. The day we placed our order she wrote down the wrong shaped table so she had to fix that (I caught the error before we paid). Right after we paid she noticed she had only charged us for 1 chair instead of 4. We paid for the other 3 chairs then left. Next evening she called to say the size table top (with 2 leaves) we wanted wouldn't work with the pedestal we ordered - either change the pedestal or get a larger table top. We decided to get a larger table top (with 1 leaf) because we liked the pedestal. Shari said we'd get a credit - however she credited us too much & days later she called to say she forgot to charge for the pedestal so there would be another charge. It was a custom order, otherwise I would have cancelled it. Ten or twelve weeks later when the furniture was delivered there was a dented place on the pedestal. It was small, but I saw it right away. The delivery person snapped a picture to document it & sent it to customer service. A woman called shortly thereafter and told me she'd forward the information to someone who would contact me. That was at least a month ago. I'll never hear from them. My Amish furniture is very nice, but there are lots of places that sell nice furniture. Go to one of them. read more

Ordered a custom sectional, and was told 6-8 weeks. Kept in weekly contact with the salesperson, who assured me everything was going fine, despite repeatedly not returning calls and needing to be tracked down. About five and a half weeks in he tells me it will be delivered "any day now." Finally, I ask to speak with someone else (after 5+ weeks), and am informed that it will be closer to 12+ weeks, and possibly longer due to holiday, and that it would never have been 6-8 weeks in the first place. I will never, ever shop here again and will never recommend this store to anyone. We purchased furniture for an entire bedroom/office largely because we were told the desk was IN STOCK and would be delivered the next week in time for my daughter to start summer classes. That was MAY 22 and we were just told after over a month of calls, texts and partial deliveries of some items that the desk WON'T ARRIVE UNTIL JULY 3rd. The desk was NEVER in stock- they were not accurate of truthful then or on any of the calls in between to both Becker and to their Customer Service office. To top it off, the new bed, which was delivered mid-June, was delivered defective and so they are "looking into" how they need to repair it. If we didn't already have one book case and a file cabinet that match the missing desk and the second file cabinet, I would send it all back. In addition, we spent 3 days finding furniture we liked, and I don't want to waste more time searching for another bedroom/office set. DON'T BUY ANYTHING HERE!!! read more
