First off we brought our dog in for a day while we explored Cody. He was there for about 8 hours and came home happy. Here comes the HORRIBLE part. They young girl said since we were going to Yellowstone the next day to bring him back the next day and that the last 4 digits of my phone number would let me in to get him anytime before 11:59pm the same day. I tested my code on the way out and it didn't work. Another young lady hollered from the front desk that it takes time for the system to save your code. I trusted them since the first day went so well. So I dropped my dog off around 8 am the next day and was back well before 11:59 pm. Closer to 11 since our cabin was about 1.5 hours from Cody. I get there and guess what... my code does not work.... I tried multiple times and nothing. I tried the code the girl used earlier to show me how it worked and nothing. Also not to mention when I got there that night it was scene! I could hear my dog in complete panic and stress FROM THE PARKING LOT. He was having a melt down. My dog does not do that. He is trained professionally and is one of the happiest dudes I've ever met. I will not explain how but I did retrieve my dog. This was over 3 days ago and he is still not the same. He doesn't play with his toys which he normally does all day long. He just sleeps and is very lethargic. I am not sure what happened at this "business" but I would NEVER trust these people EVER! He had zero food in his "suite" which I supplied more than enough. Also we were told he would have a "suite" as shown online, nope, he was in a cement kennel. Suite my arse, it looked like a dog shelter. Their website and the lady at the front explained a VERY different environment. All of the other dogs in there seemed under distress as well. Before entering the "Bed and Biscuit" that night when the code would not work, I tried calling the company and any number I could find and nothing. Just a business voice mail. So they offer pick up before midnight yet I can't get ahold of anyone to help me get my dog. I hope this helps people in the figure to make an educated decision. We thought this was such an amazing service since Yellowstone is not very dog friendly. read more

We were so stoked when we came across a wonderful boarding place for our little pup as we were debating whether or not to bring her with us to yellowstone. Unfortunately, even after the time and research with all the stellar reviews - I was left a bit more than disappointed. First off, I had to gently remind them to send a photo of our pup. Although I scheduled it to be on Wednesday, I didn't receive a text until Thursday after the reminder. To be honest, it was okay with me, as long as I received an update. However, what irked me the most was that I signed up for an exit bath but I don't believe they gave her one. I double checked with the lady in the front counter and she was absolutely sure they gave her one. Her eye discharge was definitely more than a weeks buildup and she had no hint of shampoo smell at all - rather it was completely dog odor. She came back looking worse than when she went in. Still giving them the benefit of the doubt, I came home after a 14 hour drive back home to wash her again... Low and behold, the water was murky and so did all her crusty eye discharge come out with some shampoo. Very disappointed with this, as I had extremely high hopes... read more

What a great place for doggie camp. Gianna was so happy there I almost felt guilty picking her up. I love the fact that she had a large area with an outside section so she could calm down. I also loved the options they provide and the cost was reasonable. Unfortunately we were just passing through but would definitely drop her again or for daycare if we head back that way. read more

The care my dog received was very good. However, their business practices leave something to be desired. Their brochure states that basic boarding is $25 per day. The first time I utilized their service, they charged me $40. Two weeks later they charged me $45 for one day. The young man specifically said he would not charge me for an afternoon pick up. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME. I wish there was a zero star option for this review. We booked online for our dog well in advance, and received a confirmation email that said our drop off time was assigned at 12. The time was a little early, especially since we were driving into town from South Dakota, but we woke up at 4 AM to make it on time. We hit some traffic on the way, but made it to the place 5 minutes before 12. To our surprise, there was no one there, and all the doors were locked. The sign said they closed at 12, but they knew we were coming and gave us that time for our check in....... I am appalled that this place is in business with business practices like this. My highly energetic young lab LOVES Cody Bed & Biscuit! She is able to socialize all day long with other dogs and the staff tolerates her ridiculous antics with the same love they extend to all the other pets at daycare or boarding. I love that the owners and staff truly love animals and are very flexible with boarding and daycare arrangements. They are open 24/7 (with a keypad option) and as a local who often works odd shift hours and can be called in at any time, knowing that I can drop Millie off any time day or night is a huge perk to me. The kennels are cleaned daily and there is never any smell or visible animal waste. The only main requirement is that your pet be current on his/her vaccinations. Affordable, loving friendly option for your pet. The ONLY drawback is that the parking/drop off lot is quite small and can get congested at drop off and pick up times. But the owners and staff far outweigh the parking situation! read more

My husband and I were on a 9-day hot rod run and traveling through Cody with our dog Carley. We really wanted to see the Buffalo Bill Museum but could not leave the dog in our hotel room so I Googled doggie day cares in the area and Bed & Biscuit came up. It was on a Sunday but the owner, Lea was so accommodating. She met us at the facility and let us bring Carley in at an off time for that day. She was fantastic, took excellent care of our pet and we got to go off and have fun for a few hours. We left our two miniature Dachshunds overnight while we made a pit stop in Cody, WY on our way from Yellowstone to Mt. Rushmore because our lodging in Cody did not allow pets. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I got to see the kennel area before leaving my dogs and it didn't have any bad smells (urine or feces) and looked well taken care of. My dogs were happy when we picked them up and seemed to have enjoyed themselves while they were there. Their rates were extremely reasonable and I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through Cody and in need of a great place to watch their dogs! read more

We're so pleased with CCBB! We were on vacation recently and mistakenly thought the hotel where we were staying was pet friendly. Last minute we had to find a kennel for our English Bulldog, Brisket. After reading reviews we contacted the staff here and thankfully they had availability. We were going to be arriving after their closing hours but one of their staff was staying late and they allowed us to drop off when we got to town. I was apprehensive about kenneling our dog (bulldogs have a lot of health issues) and we've never left her with anyone but family before now. The intake was very thorough and covered food, meds, temperament, shot record, etc. Everything, including Brisket, was given a label to keep it all straight which helped me relax. We dropped her off Wednesday evening and picked her back up Friday morning. Brisket seemed very happy (for a bulldog ) and not stressed from the experience. I don't know that we'll be back in the area to be able to use their services again but I wholeheartedly recommend CCBB for anyone needing a kennel in the Cody area. read more

Giving only two stars because I feel they really need to work on a more welcoming atmosphere. When I made the reservation I spoke to the owner who was delightful. I felt super confident with the place. When I arrived however, the girl at the desk had to apologize to me because she didn't hear me ask a question because she was listening to her brothers live rodeo at the desk and she was trying to hear what they were saying. I brought a lot of toys and my dogs crate because I felt it would make him more comfortable since this was his first time in a kennel. I wasn't allowed to put stuff in his kennel or set up his crate because they have a labeling procedure they must follow and they would get to it later. I did ask if I could maybe help do the labels a little just so I could take him a toy but they shot it down and said they would get it. This was a little concerning for me because I didn't want to leave my dog in a concrete cell with nothing to show him that it was okay or anything to remind him of home. I fought back some tears and I tried to understand their procedure. So I went to say my final goodbye and I don't think the girls knew I was in there still because I overheard one say to the other, "are you really going to set up that crate?" To which the other replied, "well she signed up for getting pictures so we kinda have to." This was super disheartening. So despite their procedure I went and got the crate and set it up myself which I preferred anyway because I made it the way he likes it or is use to it which they wouldn't have been able to do. When I was leaving I told them I set up the crate because they made a big deal out of it. She turned to me in what seemed like huge frustration and proceeded to tell me that I got here right when they opened and that they have so much to do and that "the luxuries of toys had to wait". For one, my reservation time was scheduled by the owner and myself for 8am so I was punctual. Secondly, this girl was listened to the live radio and sitting down when I got there. I could have sworn I saw someone eating cereal too. I asked to speak to the manager which was her so then I asked for the owner who was on vaca. Got in my car and looked up other places to take him, had a plane to catch shortly so I didn't have time and cried on the way home because I was leaving my dog somewhere that unsettled me. Half an hour later I got a picture of my dog with toys in his kennel so I thank them for getting it done probably only because I wanted to talk to the owner. But it was something I wanted to do for my own peace of mind as well as my pups. Also I didn't see labels on any of the toys so did that part of the procedure really matter that much that I couldn't take him one toy? Or couldn't I have taken him a toy and then they labeled it later? We live in a small town, aren't we suppose to be kind and courteous to each other? But they couldn't even give me one toy. Anyway, taking him somewhere else next time where hopefully the employees are more people friendly as well as dog friendly. read more

We had our mini-doxie stay at Country Bed & Biscuit for 2 days of doggie daycare when we recently vacationed in Cody. Everyone at the location was very friendly and professional. They took wonderful care of our pup; she had a roomy, clean kennel with a comfy bed, toys and plenty of fresh water. They also paired her with similar sized dogs for her to play with. They even made it possible for us to pick her up after hours on the second day, so we wouldn't have to board her overnight. Great place to keep your pet and next time we are in Cody we will definitely keep our dog at Country Bed & Biscuit! read more
