Encompassed by the beautiful and majestic Wallowa mountains and in the cute little town of Joseph, Oregon you will find Beecrowbee. When you enter this little store you will think you died and went to Scent Heaven :-) I was surprised! Beecrowbee was started in 2004 and has been going strong ever since. The beautiful area inspired Will Roundy to set up shop and create a store full of natural handmade bath and body products. I was surprised to find out that it can take around 30 days to create the handmade soap they sell. It is created using ancient techniques. True story! The products you will find are soap, lotion, lip balm, shampoo, moisturizers, room and linen sprays, scrubs, bath oils and more. Products are free of animal products, detergents, preservatives, and so on. Great for sensitive skin. The scents are yummy and some of the choices are lavender geranium, Rosemary peppermint and lemongrass. There are some nice woman's clothing items and jewelry as well. And I believe someone said they even give massages. One-stop spa trip here! Wonderful store in the town of Joseph. I stopped in here while visiting Wallowa Lake and was transported into a spa atmosphere. The smells, sights, and products available will leaving you wanting a massage (which is also available there). I picked up a bar of soap for a friend and she absolutely loved it. The items are made of all natural products and will leave your skin smooth and luxurious. Great store! My sister spoke to the owner while there and he said some of his items are sold in Boise, ID as well. I hope he is able to expand even further. read more

I absolutely love this place. I'm a fan on Facebook. I wish they would sell their merchandise in most natural food stores in Southern California. The lavender & geranium scrub reminds me of the discontinued lavender scrub that Glen Ivy used to have. I'm very picky. The scent and texture seems to be the same. I got the matching lotion too. This is a lovely little shop located right on the main street in the center of Joseph, Oregon. It's been a while since my last visit as I don't get out that way very often-but beecrowbee is always one of my stops. I buy soaps for myself (I seem to remember really liking a peppermint one that I think was a gift around Christmas and a few other scents, like lemongrass, that are delicious without being overpowering or chemical-like) and they usually have a varied assortment of items good for gifting (my baby boy was given an adorable knit hat bought here). The space is bright and airy and the owner is supernice. Highly recommended. Oh, and I've seen the soap being cut right there in the shop...kind of fun... read more
