It's a bit of a hike from Rochester but was definitely worth a trip to check it out. There were so many books that were organized in helpful sections. This book store is located in a small garage-sized side-building to the Cobblestone Museum itself. There is plenty of free parking behind the buildings. The bookstore is open even when the museum is not, as it is a pay-on-your-honor cash box system. Paperbacks are fifty cents, hardcovers are a dollar, and there of sometimes posted sales for particular authors and/or genres. This little shop is organized very well into genres, with the bulk of the collection being general fiction, but still a nice assortment of shelves for specialized fiction and non-fiction items. The last time we were in, my husband spent eleven bucks on a nice pile of mostly vintage sci-fi paperbacks, with a couple hardcovers.
