My mother first used Beil for a slip and fall. He didn't seem very enthusiastic about the case and said she would be lucky to get $1000.00. My sister stepped in and the results were not what he thought but my sister had to tell him what my mother was entitled to. We then went back to them but used Hay in attempts to save our family property and home of over 40 years. Needless to say I had to do most of the research only to find that he had not contacted them in attempts to set up a mediation, missed deadlines for documents and did not explain our other options. Our property was bought back by JPMORGAN Chase and we were given a deadline to be out. I started talking to the attorneys as well as Chase employees and had to get a medical extension which was just short of 90 days. I learned a lot about foreclosure and bankruptcy, which was suppose to be his specialty. I am currently working on getting some of the (approximately) $10,000 put out to pay him for a job that clearly ended in his negligence. They are nice but unprofessional and they do not do their jobs unless you stay on them. I wouldn't recommend them to handle anything that has to do with the law. Unfortunately, but I think they are unorganized and have to much on the the table which makes them incapable of doing their best to represent their clients. I made an appointment with this firm to discuss my fathers will. While speaking with the attorney, For less than 15 minutes from the time I sat down in his office, the receptionist interrupted the meeting with documents to be signed for something not pertaining to me and to inform the attorney that he had a phone call. Once she left the room, the attorney began rushing me to rap it up, by getting up from his seat and pointing at the phone more than once, to let me know he was pretty much done with me because he had a phone call, yet I was nowhere near done speaking with him. I had only just gotten started on one of the matters in which I was there and didn't even get the time to ask some questions that I had . After I left, I decided to call them and withdraw from thier services and go elsewhere. So I called and asked to speak with the office manager to request that my documents be mailed to me as I wanted to withdraw and the receptionist told me that the manager ( whom I have known for over 20 yrs) could not speak to me because she's not handling my case and asked me why I wanted to withdraw, so as I began telling her, she became combative and offensive and told me if you want your paperwork come in and pick it up and she hung up on me. So I immediately went to their office within 10 minutes of the phone call. When I walked into the office the receptionist began making copies of my paperwork and then handed them to me, which they would have no reason to keep copies if they are not going to be my attorney, in fact I had signed nothing as of a contract . I did not have my glasses on and could not see the documents clearly and thought that possibly they gave me copies versus the certified legal documents that I obtained from the courthouse, so I questioned their authenticity and while I was doing so the receptionist was insulting my integrity accusing me of being rude and she was extremely combative yelling at me and arguing at which time the office manager came out and started yelling at me just the same. I asked several times for them to calm down so that I could tell them why I did not want to be there and explain why I felt the receptionist was rude and the conversation only escalated with the two women screaming at me over the counter until the point where I was even getting up upset and combative back with them. It turned into a fiasco. As I walked out of the building with my documents the receptionist ran out from around the counter towards me and yelled at me to take another pill. I do not do drugs nor have I ever done drugs. I am however very sick and under a doctors care so I took that extremely offensive. This office is the most unprofessional unethical establishment that I have ever dealt with. As I looked back into the office I could see that one of the attorneys was actually there, I was a appalled that he did not come out while this was going on and put an absolute stop to it immediately. I was going to have them handle the sale of my home as well as the estate of my fathers and I can assure you that certainly is not going to happen . I would not recommend this office to Anyone for Any reason. Dealing with I will is already a disturbing matter. These people had absolutely no concern compassion professionalism or otherwise what so ever. Furthermore I will be making a formal complaint with the attorneys general and anyone else that I can for what I experienced in their office and for the level of frustration that they took me to. I should've never been pushed to that level, especially during such a trying time. If I had employees that worked for me and handled my clients like this, they would be terminated immediately ! So for an attorney to be in the building and hear every bit of this, as he was standing around the other side of the wall hiding while listening to all of this, he is absolutely no better than them. I have been doing legal advocacy in this county for over 30 years. I have dealt with all types of Atty.'s court houses government buildings and people of all sorts in that profession and have never seen anything like this before and would hope that I would never see it again. read more
